The room was perfect and really comfortable. It was really convenient for going to a wedding nearby at Mythe Barn. The Inn was really easy to find from the centre of the town and was next to Aldi and Tesco if you needed to purchase anything. It was really close to the Cattle Market car park too. Our room was ready when we arrived and we were able to check-in early which was so convenient. We had an issue with two taxis letting us down one after another when getting to the wedding so the very kind landlady offered to give us a lift to make sure we made it on time to the wedding (with minutes to spare!). We are eternally grateful!
It would have been useful to have information on Booking.com or the Inn's website about the best place to park and what the charges/hours of operation are. Luckily we stumbled across the Cattle Market car park and it was 24-hour but the charges were confusing for overnight stays.

Was very happy with my stay big soft towels the shower was very big and powerful the room was spotlessly clean and I had the best nights sleep in any hotel ivecstayed in, easy access via back door so you can come and go as you please was told by the owner that music was on, so may be noisy but didn't hear it so would say it's very quiet room also lovely big TV and as much tea and coffee as you wanted all in all a great stay thanks😀😀 and only a two minute walk to the train station
There really was nothing to dislike at all I only went for one night but stayed an extra one

Location was ideal for pedestrian access to the Town facilities and transport links to the fishery we visited each day. The twin room was fine for a couple of guys sharing, with a good shower, the room was clean and the bonus of tea and coffee making facilities. Resident access via a dedicated entry was a bonus as leaving and entering was not confined to the pub opening times. Communication with the property landlady (Lorraine) was excellent and changing a twin to a single at fairly short notice was no problem.
No comment regarding this. Nothing to complain about.

The bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. They provided us with plenty of towels and toiletries. The little extras like the hot chocolate and the flap jacks was a nice little touch.
Only thing really is the noise. But what do you expect from staying above a pub. It looks like it would be a quiet pub but it gets very busy if you’re staying over the weekend. But this doesn’t take away how lovely our stay was and I would 100% stay agin.

First impressions were pleasantly wrong. Seems like a scruffy mid terrace town pub on arrival. Staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Room was better quality and kitted out than a premier inn. Lovely comfortable super king bed. Large Tv and cracking shower with suitable quality towelling and nice oaty snacks
No parking so searching for local car park, but fairly easy. Can easily get locked out as room key would not reopen exit door. Fortunately very helpful staff on hand to resolve

The room was spotless and modern with a lovely shower area in a contemporary bathroom. Towels, complimentary soap/shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, air conditioner, and free Wi-Fi are all provided in the price. Beds were very comfortable, with ample pillows, and ample clothes hangars too.
The stairs up to the rooms were a bit challenging due to my mobility problems, they were quite steep. Breakfast was NOT available although there were cafes just a few yards down the street which served good breakfasts. We had a small English breakfast at £10 pp.

We stayed in the 1 bed apartment. And wow, it was beautiful! We did not expect it to be anywhere near as nice as it was (no offence meant, but due to the price). We have gotten a slightly better price as it being a Monday, but it was 100% worth what we paid, and more. So comfortable, clean and spacious. 2 TVs, one in living area and another for the bed, which was huge and comfortable! Cute little porthole window above. Shower was huge and perfect. Would 100% be my first choice if needing to stay in that area again.
Green emergency light that didn't go off and kept the room quite bright throughout the night

Room was comfortable, well maintained and modern. Shower was excellent, towels soft and fluffy Tea and coffee available Huge complimentary flapjacks!! Pub downstairs was very friendly. Very handy for the station as we came on the train.
Nothing we didn’t like. The only couple of observations would be that the night entry door was in a dark alleyway - not really the venues fault to be fair. Bathroom could maybe have done with a few shelves for toiletries.

Good location in the centre of town, efficient and friendly welcome. Great hints and tips given to us for places to eat and drink during our stay. Very nice bathroom.
Genuinely very good rooms, a couple of things could make it even better. The electrical sockets for example in our rooms weren’t fitted in the wall that well. They were absolutely safe, just didn’t match the otherwise excellent standard of the room.

Rooms were really lovely, fluffy towels folded on the bed on arrival with toiletries laid out. Comfy bed, duvet and pillows. Coffee facilities with flapjacks set out on the side. They didn't do food (not that we were there for that anyway) but in the room there was numerous takeaway/ restaurant menus in a little folder. We had a problem with our sink but it was sorted straight the way and they even gave me a safety pin which I'd forgotten. Little things go a long way with me. They had definitely taken the time to think about the rooms eg decor, as ours was very well done, especially the bathroom. We didn't drink in the pub as was there for a wedding but it's a shame the pub wasn't as nice as the rooms as maybe we would have done beforehand. Thanks to the owners for accommodating us.
