Basic - but good - hotel / motel on the M6 motorway with comfortable beds. Good WiFi.

The Lady receptionist on the 27th Dec 2024 morning. Extremely Very Rude !!! Background - I had asked for a late checkout (on an extra payment basis) the previous day and it had been confirmed that this was available. Booking.com also confirmed availability of rooms as did the Lady receptionist. However, she refused to give me a late checkout claiming that someone was coming to my room at 12 pm, the hotel check in policy is from 3 pm. She banged on my door twice to get me to leave and almost pushed me out of the hotel "you have paid till 11 am, please leave" in a shouting tone of voice. Then she disappeared from the reception when I was leaving. Hotel Mgt - if you are reading this, please ensure this kind of inconsistent (discriminatory?) behaviour is not given to hotel customers.

Bed was soooo comfy, really clean as well.

Was charged £200 when leaving for spillage on a radiator? Didn’t even have hardly any drinks for this to happen, just water and orange juice. When enquiring about this the women on the phone was extremely rude stating the manager has informed her of this issue. I then rang back for more information and images of this ‘issue’ to which another lady answered telling me the manager wasn’t even in until the following day? Just be careful this doesn’t happen to you as I even stripped the bedding to ensure the cleaner didn’t have too and had a little bit of extra time to spare. Disgusting behaviour

Very clean, staff always so helpful. We didn't have a dog with us this year but it was so easy when we used to have a dog with us.

IT would have been nice to have been able to book by telephone as we always used to . Also a better choice o f eating establishments would have been appreciated. We had to ask the receptionist for another chair for the room, which she obtained without any fuss or bother, however two chairs would have been appreciated at the onset so we didn't have to ask for the extra one. Also a twin bedded room would have been preferred.

Comfortable warm room, with plenty of space and lots of tea and coffee available. The lady on the reception desk was very friendly and offered to help me with my luggage as I am disabled. A man in the hotel who may have been a guest helped me with the doors. I was also grateful for the fact that there were EV charging points in the hotel car park which I was able to use before I left and I was allowed to remain in the car park free of charge for 24 hours from my original arrival time, despite having checked out of my room.

The heating was slightly difficult to control at first, but I quickly resolved it. I am used to a very warm home, so everywhere else I visit tends to feel cold, but once I figured out how to worknit, the room soon became nice and warm. Other than that everything was perfect.

The room, facilities, bed and shower were all excellent and I felt very comfortable and safe in the room. The site also had lots of functional EV chargers which was extremely helpful for my onward journey.

The reception / manager explained their restaurant was under refurbishment and could not offer a full breakfast but would either deduct the cost of breakfast from the bill or provide a pre-boxed continental breakfast. I opted for the latter but wish I'd had the deduction and got breakfast from the services (Starbucks, KFC, etc also at the site). The UHT milk was warm and not very appetising although the other items in the breakfast; juice, cake, flapjack were fine.

Location for our next day to our Friend's home in Holbrooks Coventry. But especially to Nikki on Front of House. Polite. Informative. Especially directions for the route to Holbrooks. Thank you from us both. 😁😁 Will return in the Future 👍PS. Plus KFC. 😋😋😋😂😂

Bed was very high. TV not tuned in properly. Housekeeping Trolley, blocking Door to get out with Suitcases. Know the Corridor is a bit tight, but could park between each Rooms. Being a Housekeeper myself, we are easy targets, and l except it's an hard job. But on a plus side?. Attention to Room cleaning?. Exceptional. 👍👍👍

The location was excellent. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean with a very comfy bed. The hotel just smelled clean as soon as you entered, and as you walked along the corridor and in to the room, which also smelled good. The car parking was excellent.

Everything was fine apart from one towel in the room was completely filthy, with what my wife thought was blood, but was probably make-up. It had not been washed properly. The receptionist was very helpful and gave us fresh, clean towels. He also photographed it, saying he would inform the laundry, but I am surprised that housekeeping did not notice it.

The locality was ideal for us and having stayed at the Brittania hotel before, this was a massive step above and will be used forthwith when visiting family in these parts of the woods. The place was easy to find, checking in was a breeze and the room was certainly tip top, even had a walk in shower. I highly recommend Days Inn if you're in this neck of the woods.

Nothing really, misses moaned that there was no plug socket close enough to the room mirror so struggled to straighten her hair with tongs, but that's a woman problem and not mine

Very clean hotel with big room. Very, very comfortable bed. Hotel room exceeded my expectations, not 5 star but modern, fresh, clean, large, loads of plug sockets, 2 separate desk areas. Great shower. Excellent value for money with breakfast included. I didn't make it to breakfast as I was running late 😔

Bit chilly, couldn't get the air con above 18c but there was a plug in heater. On the wrong side of the motorway for where my first meeting of the morning was so had half an hour detour but that's my fault for not checking if it was North or South bound side...

Room and comfort was better than expected. Compares favourably with Premier and Travelodge. Walk in shower was good and easy to operate. Bathroom was comfortable for 1 at a time. Bed with additional pillow was very comfortable. Blackout curtain worked well for restful night. Great to have EV charging point just outside.

Not particularly convenient to get back on Southbound motorway added 20 minutes to journey to venue. If we'd been travelling N onwards would have been fine. Only 1 Type 2 charger - really - plenty of other EV chargers available a couple additional Type 2 would be necessary as we had a Q. Breakfast on opposite side OK but the bridge/causeway was appalling. Desperately in need of some TLC.
