we stayed in the huxtable suite for 2 nights. Room was clean and spacious and included everything we needed for our little stay. Hot tub was a lovely touch and very relaxing. Contacted reception once during our stay quick response and nothing was to much. 5* service. We visited the glass house restaurant for both breakfast and evening meal and the food was lovely. Quick service and food was freshly cooked each time. Would definitely recommend.

Bed base/mattress really loud. Couldn’t roll over in the night without disturbing each other/other guests. Bathroom was boiling due to radiator being left on but no dial to turn this off.

We stayed in the Huxtable Suite for my partners birthday and it was absolutely lovely. The hottub had been turned on and was ready for us to jump straight in on arrival which was lovely and the suite was perfect in size and layout for a couples weekend away. The his and hers double shower was fabulous and the room was vary clean.

The cleaners were very loud which was a little intrusive and you can hear every footstep and movement coming from the other rooms in the pod. Just the noise from others. Also the front door slammed really loud whenever anyone used it. It made the stay (even when in the room) not feel very private and our bed made a lot of noise (which isn't great for a "romantic" break away).

The actual stay was lovely. The customer service before arrival was appalling. The hotel blamed booking.com for not telling them we were bringing children, despite it clearly saying on the booking we were, and that children were up to the age of 16. The hotel then said we had given the incorrect age for the children (we didn’t.) The hotel then said the beds they put in weren’t suitable for a 15 year old, and the next day they were. Customer service was poor and defensive. Luckily we didn’t have to engage with any staff other than at check in and out. The room and whole site was lovely. Room was very clean and they left some chocolate as an anniversary gift which was nice.

The main bed wasn’t the most comfortable and pillows were like sleeping on a block of stone. There was some damp on the ceiling above the shower.

The room was lovely, it was perfect for my husband and I to have a lovely chilled night away.

as a professional cleaner, I did notice a few bits that weren’t as clean as expected. Someone had disgustingly picked their nose then wiped it on the wall, I got a tissue and wiped it off as I didn’t want anyone thinking we would do that, but it was very dry so clearly had been there a while. I know that’s not the cleaners fault but also, it’s important to look out for these things. The bath plug was dirty, not the end of the world but put me off using it. however everything else was lovely.

Was well cared for, reception and bar staff were all very attentive and the lodge was lovely. When asked about parking closer to my lodge this was required (I am a blue badge holder). The food in the restaurant was lovely, and served quickly too.

I think the signage for when travelling on foot back to lodges could be better (its very car orientated at present and there's not footpaths marked so you walk up the road. I was lucky there was a space available for me to park, but if busier there might not have been. With lodges being so far away from the car park, the disabled bays didn't really help me, and I think for equality and accessibility considerations, there should be the option to choose a lodge you can park by if required. the wine was a bit pricey, and just £2 cheaper than a huge plate of burger, chips, coleslaw and salad.

Beautiful area, high quality furnishings, receptionist was so helpful. Security made you feel well looked after on his rounds on an evening. Hot tub was lovely, the bed was so comfortable and the double shower was to die for.

Bar/wait staff were a bit of a let down, poor communication and service took a long time even though it wasn’t busy. Several things in the room damaged on arrival so could do with some repairs/repaints

The resort location was really nice. The room was comfortable and a good size. The main course evening meal was good quality.

The service in the restaurant after we received our evening meal was very slow. It took nearly 1.5hrs to get a dessert. Prior to arrival I asked for a larger additional bed and received a response that this was fine but upon arrival we received a small zed-bed and were told they didn't have any larger extra beds!

good location, it had drop off areas for luggage, staff had room extras ready for arrival, hot tub was fully heated and available to go in straight away. bed was comfy, night time food was lush all the staff were friendly, breakfast was delicious too.

privacy in our pod was limited, the hedge blocking the hot tub from the path was patchy so visible from the outside. in the morning the hot tub maintenance man had arrived half an hour before checked pressuring us to hurry out the door. we had to keep blinds closed whilst we got ready as people were walking along our side of the hedge

Excellent stay, lady on reception was very accommodating, allowing us to get into our lodge a few hours earlier and even had the hot tub ready for us. Beautiful stay, batteries now re charged, very relaxing.

Breakfast was very slow. We sat down at 9am, food didn’t arrive until 10am. But food was nice. Luckily we weren’t in a rush, just wanted a bit of time in the hot tub before check out. Lady on reception allowed us a later check out which was kind, due to service being so slow at breakfast.

Everything that the resort offers is beyond expectations.. 5 star!

Not the fault of the resort we were just unlucky that the people staying in the next room were in and out constantly most of the evening which resulted in their door banging shut all of the time. Also because they were in and out the noise of them running up and down the stairs constantly was irritating. Once people were in their rooms you couldn’t hear a thing.
