I found the hotel lovely and exactly what I needed for my stay in Norfolk and will stay again. The hotel was clean and my bedroom/bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful a real credit to the hotel.

These are minor things really. The blind in the bathroom wasn't working properly, the chain to wind it up/down was missing. The table I sat at for breakfast was facing out to the patio and this meant my back was to the dining room which didn't feel very comfortable for me sitting alone. This may be difficult to change and I appreciate that but there were other tables empty and in future I would ask to sit elsewhere if the breakfast room wasn't full.

The Lodge accommodation was perfect for a couples weekend break. Great surroundings, fantastic room and facilities. Breakfast was very good . The restaurant was also superb, offering a great menu in a great atmosphere. Care from all staff was outstanding and we felt very welcomed. Home from home! I would most definitely recommend and would love to return for another stay in the future. Thank you Brasteds!

There is nothing I was unhappy with during my stay here

Beautiful quiet king room (2 - The Play Room), overlooking lovely grounds, yet also close to Norwich city. Excellent breakfast - as only 2 rooms were occupied at the lodge, even on a Saturday, we were the only ones at breakfast, so had a private chef and it was delicious! Pleasant Snug Room for relaxing, and an honesty bar for after hours. Clean room, comfortable bed. Staff were helpful.

Slightly strange set-up on a complex with other businesses - it is a restaurant with rooms, venue and outside catering. Lodge is hotel section, across the courtyard is the restaurant. Most restaurant visitors seemed to be there for supper only. Supper was a 3 or 4 course set menu, with 2 amuse bouche courses plus bread before even our starter was served (including chicken livers - no-one asked re food tolerances/preferences etc). We arrived at 7.30pm and our main course was served at 8.45pm. Tables were filled up side by side as people arrived. Food was very good, extensive wine list, but I just felt more like part of a dining process.

Very friendly and lovely place both location and the facilities

Only two areas I think could be Improved was the toilet bowl in the bathroom needs bleaching and limescale we ran out of toilet roll as only a bit left on roll when we arrived.

Breakfast was good; however, two pouched eggs would have been better than one.

Our bedroom was next to the breakfast room, and we could hear everything; if we had known this upon booking, we would not have booked that room. Furthermore, the downstairs bedroom doesn't have any privacy curtains, which is a bit awkard when you open curtains and people are hanging around outside reception and can see straight in.

This is a charming hotel and if I were about to get married this would difinately be on the shortlist. It is a wedding venue however we arrived on a non event day and it suited our needs perfectly. It is a long way from the beaten track but that just means you are in the middle of the countryside. The breakfast is cooked by a chef and was beautifully done and presented.

We arrived on a Wednesday and their award winning resteraunt was closed with no option for food at the hotel. We had ourselves had a meal earlier in the day so it wasn't a massive deal and there are pubs in the village, about a mile away, to eat if you are hungry.

Visiting my home county and surroundings. Brasted's was well situated. It proved to be a good choice.

Would have preferred a room with shower rather than bath. That is the only issue throughout.
