Clean, comfortable room. Great shower - like, really great. Convenient off road parking. Local Co Op nearby for an end of night bottle of wine. Digital TV with more than ordinary terrestrial. Mini fridge in the room to keep my travel snacks cool.

Wi-fi was intermittent - I lost connection on my second night. A random smoke alarm (or other alarm) started ringing circa 11pm - but at least pleased to know the sounder worked. Breakfast was nice, but pricey - £20, and only one sausage on my full English.

We arrived from Ireland on an early morning flight to attend a wedding in the area, our check in wasn't to be until 1430. Jackie at reception and room staff sorted out both rooms for us for 1130 to allow us time to get ready which was so helpful as wedding was at 1530. Thanks again also to Jackie for arranging taxi's and advice about atm locations etc. We had breakfast next morning with plenty of food, tea, coffee etc and breakfast staff were very obliging

Lovely set up in room, comfortable, management very friendly and accommodating. Recommend if you are in area. Lovely area to walk around.

Would have liked some cutlery and a kettle as i was unwell during my stay and spent more time in my room A ringing noise out in corridor, when flagged with manager was very accommodating and offered to change rooms. Dated rooms and building however i didn't mind.

The location of where it was. It was easy to find, it was somewhere to stay after a day of being out at the rugby and drinking with friends. The room was clean, it had a kettle and brew kits, fridge and a microwave in it. The price was very cheap.

It wasn’t that we didn’t like the property and with the price you pay I won’t be complaining but it could do with a tidying up. Paint work and windows need Cleaning.

It was lovely & warm very cosy room with the heating left on all night ive never known a hotel room be so warm it was great.

It wasn't a big deal to us as only there for one nite for airport early morning but I can definitely understand other people reviews about the disappointment it is to not be staying in the main building which looks very nice while checking in, but then you are taken to the back of the building which is a big let down, as its like a cheap extension,but for us it was fine & price was right.

The staff was very helpful and courteous, especially Jacquie and Shohog who were exceptional. They did their best to accommodate us when asked. The breakfast was good. Ample breakfast and quite well prepared. Free parking and not crowded. Handy location to shops and services.

The overall appearance of the hotel is very dated and could use an upgrade. A good paint job and cleaning would be a start and temporary fix. The carpets are very worn and soiled. The grounds are not very well kept...weeds and overgrowth everywhere.

Many thanks to the team at Normanhurst , Sale. I had stayed here myself previously, so was more than happy to suggest to my wife that we both stay here, as part of our visit to family in the area. Like me, she was also highly impressed with the accommodation and the excellent service from all of the staff. Makes such a difference when the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful.

We came for early check-in but as the room was not ready at that time , the manager asked us to sit down and made us tea and coffee. The hotel is in a very good location and the customer service of the hotel staff is very good.

I didn't like the back part of the hotel but the manager assured that it will be improved by next year.

My room had a remote control missing for the Tv. I know its trivial but when you're away you need something to watch. When I told reception they looked all over for the controls. When it was realised that they couldn't be found, they kindly relocated me to another room. Excellent service Jackie the lady in the morning who serves breakfast and reception is amazing. Due to leaving early for work I couldn't have breakfast and mentioned this to Jackie. Jackie arranged that a bacon buttie was made and ready for me every morning before i left for work. xxxxx

Garden could do with some attention. Lovely size too
