Clean. Good restaurant. Location.

Poor signage from Airport Train terminal to Hotel. Information on shuttle bus to hotel out of date and wrong. Airport Information desk also had wrong information, so directed us to get the shuttle bus that no longer runs.

Very postive experience. Suprised our expectations given it was an airport hotel. Hotel seemed to be freshly decorated. Bedroom and bathroom were spotless. Felt comfortable.

Had issues with the aircon. Room was very warm despite it being February. We had to sleep with the window open but the planes didn't cause any issue.

Hotel difficult to get to by foot from train stations. Slow service in restaurant in evening. Poor lighting in room at night. Had to use an external provider for shuttle which was expensive for the journey to to Terminal 2.

We could not see the hotel from the airport and was not able to explain where we were for courtesy bus to locate us. We walked. No signage pointing us in right direction. Walking was a nightmare as we could not find a safe pathway. The path we could find was after crossing 2 very busy carriageways. Once on the right direction the path was of very poor quality and we could see bits of broken suitcases scattered about. It was a difficult task pushing 4 suitcases between 2. Something has to be done to help people get to hotel from airport and know where they are

Two men on the desk when I checked in were being verbally abused by another customer and handled it flawlessly and professionally. They profusely apologised for me overhearing the interaction and were absolutely lovely. I use a walking stick and as I walked to my room past the restaurant, a lovely worker within the restaurant offered to help me with my bags. Everyone was no helpful and kind! I believe the two men on the desk were called Christopher and Guthram. Apologies to the second man if I got his name wrong, I didn’t fully see his name tag. Please pass on my thanks!

Located close to the airport. Very convenient if you have a flight the next day. The staff was professional and friendly. The room was clean with comfortable beds. Good options at breakfast.

The size of the room was slightly smaller than expected. One small issue - the housekeeping trolley was parked outside our room instead of taking it infront of the room which was being cleaned/made and the housekeeping staff would come there to collect items and everytime they came, they would start chatting/talking which was causing disturbance.

For the most part the staff were exceptional to deal with. I stayed on a day where there were alot of flights delayed and there were people that had reserved a late check out. This ment that I had to wait until 2pm to check in. We arrived at the hotel at around 10am from the airport as our flight was cancelled. I had no problem with this, and the bar area was a wonderful place to hang out for a few hours before I could check in. I did request could I use the gym with my son as we were doing a 5k a day for charity and needed to get our run in. I was told this was not possible until we checked in. I then requested was there a room to change and we could do our run outside. I was directed to what I felt were changing rooms to find it was the cubicles in the toilets. As I was intent in getting my run in I changed and went ahead. I did voice my disappointment with the lady at reception who stated that we could not use the facilities until we checked in and this was not possible until 2pm. As I had paid for the room I would have felt that the least I could have been afforded was the changing facilities and shower area. Having said that the rest of the staff were top class, at the bar, restaurant and breakfast area. There was a lady i believe her name was Michelle, she was a pleasure to deal with and a great person to have out front to represent your hotel. And made our stay most pleasant. The room was lovely and more than adequate. I have stayed at many hotels all over the world and this was the first time I was ever denied the use of gym/pool/shower areas before official check in time where I had pre paid for the room. I completely understand that the staff were under pressure due to the unusual weather snow conditions.

The location was perfect for our early flight the next day. There was a notice board showing live flight information in reception. The staff were excellent. I went to reception to ask for extra pillows, and when I got back to our room, there was a knock on the door, and it was a member of staff with my pillows. Fantastic service. The room had a huge bed, the bathroom was lovely, and there was a good selection of shower gels available. The room was lovely and clean, and there was tea, coffee, biscuits, and bottles of water for us. There was a nice big tv that displayed my name with a welcome message on our arrival, which was nice. There was also a fridge in the room. We really enjoyed our stay and were able to get extra hours sleep before going to the airport at 04.00 instead of setting off from home at 02.00 on a very cold and snowy morning where travelling on the motorway was risky and dangerous.

Very comfortable, the bar area and separate restaurant were really good and priced well too, the rooms were spacious, but the best thing for me was the friendliness and helpfulness of all the staff I came across in my stay, from the restaurant, bar, breakfast, reception and cleaning staff. I couldn’t fault them.

I had to switch rooms as I was staying three nights, due to the noise from the runway, and my second room was much better, but I guess staying in an airport hotel, that is to be expected! Some guests were not very respectful to other guests, by letting room doors slam when they came in or were leaving for flights during the early hours, but again, that is not the hotels fault. The hotel is not signposted from the airport terminal, and although it is close, it was a little difficult to find with trailing luggage and the Manchester weather !

I rarely write any reviews, but after spending a night here for a business trip and making use of the conference room facilities to host a meeting I felt compelled to write a quick one. The hotel is fantastically situated within easy walking to the airport, the rooms are comfortable and the food was excellent. There is also a very well equipped onsite gym. The standout for me was the staff, everyone was so friendly and accommodating and I was looked after by the reception team, the bar staff and the conference room team (shout out to Jordan!). The customer service is the main reason I will be booking here again when I stay in Manchester.
