the pool and spa were lovely to relax in before our holiday. the atmosphere and food in the restaurant (brasserie blanc) were brilliant, and really enhanced our stay. It was a short shuttle/taxi ride to the airport, but we would definitely choose this hotel over the raddison blu, for all but the earliest of flights, mostly for the spa and atmosphere. The rooms were lovely too, clean and spacious

check in took a long time (ourselves and all guests ahead of us, despite having prepaid), the lady on the desk was lovely and efficient, but it seemed that the actual process was slow.

Kelly at reception was AMAZING! Very customer focussed, made us feel very special. Remembered our trip into the city and was interested in hearing we were happy. Kelly really made the visit perfect for us, very memorable. She arranged for a banner to be placed across the door as it was our honeymoon (transiting to Mexico), and the towel arrangements were so cute. I can't fault the personal customer service we received from setting foot into the hotel to exiting early the next morning. Thank you to the whole team who was there on Monday evening 8th August and Tuesday early morning 9th August. You are the best! Kelly - keep being brilliant. You deserve a big bonus for your first-class customer service. Thank you.

The hotel is situated further than expected and not easy to get to. It would be great for the hotel to lay on its own shuttle from the airport to the hotel (and the cabs are a nightmare with rates varying from £8 to £20 depending who you spoke to and with which firm). Thankfully the hotel does have a shuttle service from the hotel to the airport, which needs to be paid separately - but why not just include it in the price of the rooms (which are very good value) and have a permanent contract / own shuttle?

Booked 30 mins before arrival due to flight cancellation 11:30 pm still managed to serve us food and drink even though restaurant and bar had just closed .This was thanks to the excellent restaurant manager. The following. Day flight still delayed ,so they gave us free use of executive lounge with free tea/ coffee,nibbles and fresh fruit ,plus TV to watch Wimbledon.Then managed a free shuttle bus to the terminal . The whole experience made up for the complete lack of customer service from TUI

The room was very clean and comfortable

2 tea cups and glasses in a room for 4 people. Tried to call to reception to get more but nobody answered. Probably this was because reception were struggling as 2 bus loads of people had arrived from the airport needing to check in.Massive queues spilling out into the carpark of tired families. Although this is not the hotel's fault it is an airport hotel and presumably this happens. It needs a system able to cope with sudden influx rather than families with children queuing in the carpark late at night. Perhaps an online check for unexpected situations to help the beleaguered staff who were doing their best ?

Check in was fine and the breakfast was very good with excellent selections for all pallets. We only stayed for 12hrs so didn't get to experience any of the amenities that were offered by the facility.

The organization of the shuttle was poor. I called the hotel and was told that it would arrive in 10mins at the location we were at. A shuttle bus showed up but the markings on the van were very small (it was dark when we arrived) and indistinct so it left without us as I couldn't tell which hotel it represented. The driver didn't make any attempt to locate us even though he knew we were there apparently. I called the hotel again and the next shuttle was about 15 minutes later and picked us up. Again the identification on the bus was just a small notice in the window. I also thought the hotel was much closer to the airport (walking distance) so that was a bit off-putting too.

My first visit to this Marriott Hotel only a few minutes drive from Manchester airport. Easy parking, just register your vehicle on arrival. Lovely room with a garden view. The very helpful reception.staff will tell you everything you need to know about the hotel and assist you with your stay. The Marriott is set in the very picturesque area of Hale just off the M56, so it is very easy to find. If you fancy a special treat, the San Carlo restaurant can also be found in this Hotel. Overall experience was a very pleasant and relaxing one. I can recommend the Marriott Hotel for either airport stay before a flight or even a treat for a few days as they have some fantastic spa treatments. My stay included breakfast, and this was very tasty and a lovely setting. Can't wait to visit again! Big thank you!

Room was very hot

Room (2 double beds) was spacious and clean. Pool was great for the whole family. Lovely Italian restaurant next door too.

It is not exactly the hotel's fault, although you may have to get used to background noise from motorway and airport at night when going to bed. It's not a big issue, however I struggled during first night, then somehow you get used to it. I felt that cost of breakfast for 2 adults and two kids was too high, therefore we opted a room without breakfast. I also did not understand why parking has to be charged £15 a day, It is an open parking with many spaces, it just adds up to the overall cost of stay.

Large bed, comforting, very clean, great shower/ bath with correct temperature, staff were very friendly and provided excellent service, room service was quick, tasty and reasonably priced, room was very spacious, mini fridge was great addition, kettle with coffee and tea provided, iron, ironing table and hairdryer provided, safe deposit box and hanging space also great additions, would definitely stop here again

Breakfast was pricey, TV wouldn't connect to phone so only thing to watch was limited freeview, YouTube and BBC I player, nothing else was up to date/ working on TV. Hand mirror would have been nice addition, mirror was a bit far at desk for eye make-up

This is my second stay here and it was enjoyable. The room is a nice decent size and clean. It's close to the airport so didn't have far to travel and the shuttle to the airport is a wonderful idea to get guests to the airport. Easy check in and check out. Friendly staff.

Waited a long time to eat in cafe and orders were mixed up but the waiter was very understanding and apologised for the long delay. Not happy with the extra £50 charge at check in and having to wait 3 days to get it back. As money needed for holiday and buying food.

I can honestly say, everything about this hotel was great. The staff were all lovely. They were very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, and gave me all the information I needed in regards to travelling to and from the airport, leaving my car at the hotel etc. The restaurant was really nice, although I didn't eat, the food looked and smelt amazing, again the staff on the bar were very good too. The transfer to and from the airport was so easy thanks to the drivers and the staff at the hotel. The room was spotless, and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was also very quiet. My car was safe in the car park whilst I was away and there's lots of spaces so no worrying about not being able to get parked. Overall, I had a great stay and will 100% stay again if travelling from Manchester Airport. It was so easy to get to.

In my opinion, there is nothing negative to say about this hotel.
