Tim and Helen were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome. The hot breakfast was very tasty and well presented. A special mention to the delicious homemade jam which you can buy, (so we did!) Can control the heating in the room which you cant always do in places. A great base for exploring nearby attractions.

I think a sign before the actual property itself would be helpful. Even tho we followed directions and drove slowly, we still missed the turn off first time around. I unfortunately got backache from the soft mattress in The Avebury Suite but that's just me.

The grounds and the home were beautiful. Our hosts were quite lovely and take great care of their home. The prepared a wonderful Full English Breakfast. They make their own homemade jams (which are available for sale separately from breakfast). Our kids loved Elvis the rocking pig.

We arrived in the dark, the only thing I wish was different would be to have a light on the sign. It would have been hard to find without the GPS. Even if it was just a few solar garden lights to help see the sign.

A comfortable room and a nice breakfast with friendly hosts.

Unfortunately, the property is very close to the main road and the noise from traffic was pretty difficult. I realise there is not much they can do about it. The property itself is beautiful but the busy road outside does detract from an otherwise relaxing atmosphere.

The owners of the B&B were superb. Friendly, communincative, did everything to let us feel welcomed. The breakfast each morning was extraordinary and the house itself was as charming as Helen & Tim. Our room was comfortable and very quiet. Cannot think of a single complaint.

Beautiful kept grounds, tastefully decorated rooms and extremely helpful hosts. Breakfast was perfect. Great choice and meticulous attention to detail ensured we had exactly what we wanted.

Nothing! It is quite close to a busy road but once the window was closed you couldn’t hear the traffic.

Tim and Helen were very friendly both before and during our stay. They replied to my questions very promptly and were very accommodating. Breakfast was delicious with a lovely range of options and served in a relaxed but prompt way. Due to the heatwave, our hosts had also placed fans in all the bedrooms, which was greatly appreciated! Though we were there for a wedding, our hosts were also very happy to give us suggestions for local restaurants and attractions if we had any free time to explore.

Being so close to a main road, though not as noisy as I’d expected, it was a little tricky finding it when driving from London. However, it was easy enough to find when facing the opposite direction. The bathroom unfortunately had an unpleasant smell of urine (?drains) when we first arrived but this did seem to dissipate by our second morning. The shower was also quite slow to drain and we worried about flooding the bathroom. Though this wouldn’t have stopped me booking again, it may be worth trying to rectify.

We stayed in the family suite and it was perfect. Very clean and cosy. The kids loved having their own space. Breakfast was lovely, and nothing was too much trouble despite our fussy requests. Tim and Helen were also very knowledgeable on Longleat and were willing to share their top tips with us about our visit. Thank you to you both for making us feel at home. Its a shame we couldn't stay longer.

Absolutely nothing at all!!

Super clean and ample sized room. Excellent shower. Excellent hosts who prepared delicious breakfasts and were extremely helpful with transport on our final day.

Would’ve loved a bath. A bit of information about how to enter the property before arrival as it’s quite busy road and odd junction.

Great stay in beatiful old house. The hosts - Tim and Helen - are great doing their best to facilitate our stay. Breakfast is very good with fine selection of options and they are ready to prepare sth what you like reasonably. Their recomendations as to what to see and do are very good and taking scenic road to Salisbury by car proposed by them is a must. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The only problem we had is a location just by very busy road meaning traffic noice while setting in the very nice garden. But the rest was great.

We arrived close to 9pm and The hosts were immediately available to show us to our room and explain the breakfast menu and where we would be eating. The family room was very comfortable for the four of us (Mum, Dad, 11yr old and 10yr old). Lovely bathroom and coffee-tea making facilities. Two tvs and comfy beds. Everything was very clean and the views amazing from the windows. We had a pleasant night sleep. Breakfast was gorgeous and nothing was too much whether it be extra juice or toast for the small ones. We just stayed one night in order to break up our journey from Suffolk to Cornwall. Stonehenge was just down the road so we visited there before setting off for the Cornwall sun, sea and sand.

Nothing more was needed at all.
