Having booked this hotel back in January we were excited to stay here so we could attend a friends wedding on Saturday. Like most weddings they are usually before your allotted checkin times. We did enquire before hand for a possible early check in and was told if it’s possible and room could be ready then they would do what they can. We arrived around 1230 to meet some friends and was told on arrival that the room was not ready. However within half and hr the lady on reception found us and told us that our room was available and we could check in. This was excellent news which allowed us to drop our luggage and freshen up before departing for the wedding. Thank you.

While we waiting we were told that the bar didn’t open until 3pm, and we could get a drink across the road. The half moon. Having walked over we found that this bar/pub was closed completely. Oh well Coffee it was then.

Good location, nice grounds which building is set in. Staff super friendly and accommodating! Pool facilities are really clean, convenient opening times from 7am - 9:30pm. Nice to come back from a day out and use the pool.

There isn’t a single thing I can say bad about my stay, neither can I say anything bad about the property.

Great parking, lovely greeting at reception, great room and facilities and a very ample breakfast. A lovely surprise after an appalling booking at the Three Tuns Chepstow and Booking Com refusing to refund us, we had already booked this trip or we may not have done so.

Nothing at all, a lovely stay and even a pool if wanted. We were worried having had a very bad experience with Booking Com after using the Three Tuns Chepstow which was appalling being dirty, unsafe and management with a no care attitude, Booking Com let us down with no refund at all.

We only stayed one night as we were just passing through but it was exceptionally clean, the room & bathroom were of a decent size, it was nice & quiet, the facilities were good & we enjoyed our evening meal which was cooked & presented wonderfully. All the staff were very polite, friendly & helpful. I would definitely stay there again 😁👍

My wife and I have no overseas holidays this year so I treated us to a quality hotel with one of their best rooms. We got exactly what we expected.

No issues with the hotel. My only suggestion is to improve the signage for the two electric charging bays. One was occupied all the time by a non-electric car. It would have been really nice if the charging bays had 7kW charging points which would have given me a full charge overnight rather than the 13A ones they have.

The spa facilities were lovely, especially the sauna. A great location and our room was quiet even though the Hotel is on a busy roundabout.

The cleaners need to put a bit more time into dusting in hard to reach or less obvious places (t.v, picture frames and shower cubicle.) cleaning just seems a little rushed.

We didn’t have the breakfast as we were only in the area for a concert & had to get off back to Worcestershire. Really enjoyed the hotel, the staff were so helpful. Room met all our expectations Thank you

Lovely building but you could make more of the outside. More tables & chairs for a drink & that flat lawn at the front could be fantastic???

Staff ,excellent, helpful and friendly you cannot fault the staff. good location . Very good restaurant food was basic fayre but good quality, drinks rather on the expensive side.

Could do with updating, in our room the bed bases were rather tired , where there should have been a valance was exposed and was worn and torn , not a good look.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Night porter was ready for my very late arrival. Plenty of time before 11am check out. Good breakfast.

Kitchen and dining room clearly very short-staffed, though the one waitress did her best and remained cheerful.

Quality of cooked breakfast. Mushrooms tasted like they had been cooked in water, leaving black residue all around the plate. Sausage quality was poor, size of my little finger x1. Not enough toast offered.
