We received a very warm welcome from our hosts, George and Sue. The property is lovely with beautiful gardens, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. We booked the king room with a balcony, which was light, spacious and beautifully decorated. The location was ideal for access to Salisbury and the surrounding areas and also very quiet for a relaxing break. The continental breakfast was more than enough to keep us going all day with a great variety, including freshly baked croissants. George and Sue went above and beyond to accommodate me with lactose free products. The defining bonus for us was the "pet free" policy, which is essential due to my allergies. We would highly recommend this wonderful B&B and would definitely stay again.

We had brilliant two night stay at Hare Lodge in large comfortable room which was clean and bright. The balcony overlooked a lovely garden and all the extras such as tea coffee fresh milk were on hand and replenished during the day. The shower in the bath room was quite large with instant powerful hot water. The continental breakfast was plentiful and filling. Our hosts were friendly, charming and informative without being intrusive.

To be honest nothing really. Personality we found the mattress a little too firm, but that may be just what another guest would find perfect. Driving to Tisbury is a little tricky along the narrow roads, there again that is part of the charm of the area and the satnav takes you straight to the door.

The breakfast was excellent with everything you could wish for , all beautifully presented . The location was was in a quiet area and easy to find . With the nearby village of Tisbury that provides any items of shopping that you may need . My host was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble .

There is nothing that I disliked at all . Except that I wished I could have stayed longer . but I was visiting from abroad and had a busy schedule visiting relations and friends in other parts of the country .

Wi-Fi was a bit pants but hardly a deal breaker .. and as with all my reviews .. the pillows … poor .. can never really see how the owners of hotels/ b and bs etc have ever tried sleeping with the pillows they supply .. never very comfortable… and look at the title “bed” and breakfast … bed is half the title ! a decent sleep is important !! but never seems to be a factor with anywhere …some nice soaps or towels and all is good lol .. I just think trying to sleep with firm bricks as pillows is more important.. but will never win on that

Absolutely amazing stay here! George and Sue were fantastic hosts who were welcoming, friendly and so kind to us all - especially when we returned home in the early hours from a wedding and had had our keys accidentally taken and needed spare keys to get into the room (we got them back the following day) . The rooms are beautiful, spacious and had lovely and clean kept en suites. Lovely smelling shampoo, body wash and hand soap were provided along with towels and in the rooms tea/coffee and fresh milk :) Breakfast was amazing!!! Definitely the best continental breakfast I have ever had and the home made marmalade and fruit conserve was delicious as well as a wonderful touch. Although we were only staying due to a wedding in the area, my family and I would love to return due to having such a great stay here and can't recommend this place enough!

George and Sue were incredibly welcoming and they have a beautiful home. The room was very spacious and clean with a marvellous little view over their back garden. Breakfast was promptly served and consisted of good variety of options. Can't recommend this place enough. We visited the Chalke Valley History Festival while staying here and it's very conveniently located.

It was all excellent.

What a lovely B&B. The hosts were incredibly kind and affable, the bed was comfy, the room was spotless and it was an easy walk to the local pubs and coffee shops.

No taxi rank at the train station. It’s not too far to walk, but a bit of a trek with suitcases. Fortunately the hosts very kindly offered to collect us and drop us off, which made the whole thing really easy!

Extremely pleasant hosts and good size apartment all in first class condition. Good breakfast (continental) and easy access to and from location.

I am six foot five and the bed was too short! Note also the bed (a double) is only a queen size and so a bit narrow if used to a king. I understand there is a king in another room, so if important, do specify.

We came for three nights to visit a wedding in my family. The Hare Lodge with its beautiful and clean rooms was the best place to spent a great time in Tisbury and surrounding. It is idylic and quiet. The hosts Sue and George made us very comfortable. They had every time a good word, a warm eye and helpful hint when we had questions or when we talked about our plans for those days. It was sourrounded by a rich, fresh and delicous breakfast, just the way we liked it. It is highly recommended!

Sue and George were lovely hosts and made us feel so welcome! Breakfast was wonderfully fresh and generous, and they have a fabulous knowledge of the local area. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable, with additional blankets provided if needed (even in August!)
