Breakfast was excellent and cooked to order each morning during our stay. Our hosts were absolutely lovely and went out of their way to ensure that we were made to feel very welcome and well looked after. The accommodation is within the host's own home which is a charming listed farm house with lots of amazing features. It is also a working farm so each morning we woke up to the sound of either the cattle or the chickens. The location is beautiful with stunning views over the countryside and farm - ideal for a peaceful, relaxed break.

It wasn't a major issue but worth noting that, although we had our own bathroom, it was across the landing from our bedroom.

Cools Farm was amazing! The hosts were interesting, super helpful and friendly, even ferrying us to our event! The property and farm is beautiful and very well looked after. Breakfast is cooked to order and was plentiful and delicious. This is a working farm which adds a lovely dimension to your stay. The self catering accommodation has everything you need and is clean and comfortable. We checked in very late but it was not a problem and was left open for us to arrive when we wanted. Lovely part of the world to explore. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you very much!!

There wasnt anything I didnt like except we had to leave :)

Very special place: stunning surrounds, beautiful house, idyllic, cozy and peaceful. Everything we could have wanted in a beautiful getaway and more. Charming, hugely comfortable rooms set in a glorious countryside. Maggie and Quentin are so kind, welcoming, and thoughtful and they think of absolutely everything. Fantastic breakfasts in the mornings as well. We were here fifteen years ago and it is just as wonderful as we remember. We will be back sooner next time! Highly recommend.

Fabulous breakfast - gluten free options catered for. Very delicious! The hosts Maggie and Quentin were very helpful and allowed my partner to hang out at the Farm while I was at the Verve festival. I loved the homely feel and the many objects and pictures of interest. The very opposite of a sterile, anonymous stay. The dog, Charlie, was a bit vocal on arrival but a real softie and enjoyed a good scratch behind the ears. I'm only sad we couldnt' stay longer and were too tired to stargaze on the first night, as the clouds precluded the excellent dark sky experience on the second. I enjoyed sharing the breakfast table with the other guests, also going to the festival, and chatting merrily away about ghosts (inspired by the fact that the building is over 400 years old, not because of any supernatural experiences) and yoga. I slept much better than I normally do in a strange place - I am a terrible insomniac at times - as the bed was HUGE and very comfortable. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend it and would readily return.

I didn't realise that the bathroom would be across the hall but it was private use, so that was okay. I was also expecting a different room from the photos but I think this might be a glitch in Booking.com.

We arrived at the farm early evening and were met by our very lovely hosts Quentin and Maggie. Very friendly and engaging. Made recommendations for evening meals in the locality which were very good also. Loved the rural location. Definitely and away from it all type of place. We had both continental and cooked breakfast - all fitted our needs. Would't hesitate to stay there again on future visits to the area.

We loved how remote it was, we felt save and welcomed. Really nice working farm with plenty of cattle and chickens. Very quiet, perfect place to switch off and relax. The produce in the farm shop adjacent was incredibly fresh and tasty, at a low cost too.

We didn't like how our time here, went so quickly. We wish we could've stayed longer!

Lovely people! Very welcoming and helpful! Thanks for having us - didn't want to leave. Very quiet and handy location, the stars were superb at night and the cows were surprisingly quiet and not a hint of "farm smell" (I live next to a dairy farm so this was a surprise)! Parking just outside (for the Tractor Shed) Excellent comfy and fresh bed with extra bedding should it be needed, wasn't disturbed once by everyday farm activities, bedroom rather quiet. Everything clean and fresh enough! The kitchen small but great facilities, the utensils, pots/pans etc, perfectly adequate, maybe just bring a good knife and peeler if you're into cooking! Perfect for a cozy and comfortable long weekend or week away.

Nothing! Couldn't complain, only have some feedback - It's not very well signposted (they send very helpful directions and we knew where to go, but we had a couple knock on our door late at night to ask where the B&B was - so maybe avoid arriving in the dark)! The shower is lovely but isn't easy to turn off (it's a bit of a fiddle), may need that looked at. Also, could do with a coffee table or something for when you're sitting on the sofa and want to avoid knocking drinks over. TV is small but fine if you're not a telly watcher.

Wonderful accomodation in a quiet area not far from Salisbury, Stonehenge or Glastonbury. Large and clean room with large bed, the bathroom with bath - not only shower. Rich and very delicious breakfest prepared by very kind owners. There was nothing impossible.

I cannot find anything

I stayed in the Tractor Shed for some rest and relaxation. I was very impressed with the space, homely feel and extremely comfy bed. Great to use as a base to explore the area with Longleat, Stourhead and Stonehenge in easy reach. I loved the countryside sounds. The weather was unfortunately very wet but I brought Lego and books to keep me entertained. There was a TV but I didn’t need to use it. The kitchen had everything I needed. I would thoroughly recommend staying here and will likely return in the future.

Nothing except are wet English weather

It was well set up, we liked the peaceful rural location and especially the self-catering facilities which were excellent (but bring your own 'salt and pepper'). We were some way from the other guests staying here so it felt that we had exclusivity. The bedroom and 'living area' had just enough space for our needs. We would happily stay here again if we were to revisit the area.

Some of the fittings, especially in the bathroom, were of the cheap 'made in China' type and wold have benefitted from a slightly more generous budget but that didn't detract from the overall pleasure of our visit.
