It's right in the centre of town and across the road from the bus stop where I was to catch an early bus from. The staff member that I met was very helpful. The breakfast options looked good, but, unfortunately, I had to be away before they started serving. The shower compartment was sufficiently large. The room was quiet, even though it overlooked the main road. The room was cold when I arrived, but it had a good old-fashioned radiator and I soon warmed up. There was plenty of tea and coffee in the room. The kit-kats were a nice touch.

The folder in the room had the wrong WiFi details, but there was a table outside with the correct details. A shelf in the shower for holding toiletries would be handy.

This guest house is well located in Wick, easy to find and has free parking available at the back of the guest house. Enough space inside the room and has all the amenities needed. The room is clean and cosy. The owners were friendly. We had a good nights sleep and a superb full english breakfast the next morning. Great place to stay over when travelling and exploring the Scottish Highlands. Right across the street from the guesthouse is an express grocery store and 2 food take away restaurants, in case you need food or drinks during your stay.

Travel light as there are many stairs, especially if your room is on the top floor.

Wick in itself doesn’t offer much however we were stopping over in Wick as part of the NC500, the B&B had free parking for our car, it was a great sleep as we had travelled from Aberdeen through Inverness and stopped a few times after that for sightseeing, we ate at DeVitas…recommended by our host, it was lovely considering how rural Wick is and good value for money too. We can’t comment on breakfast as we set off at 7am however we liked that you can choose your breakfast options the night before!

What a complete gem!!!! Fantastic spot for exploring the region. Wick is an incredibly cute town and the Bank Guest House is super centrally located in Wick, walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Definitely Check out The Alexander Bain for cold beer and amazing dinner. The guest house itself is very comfy. The bed was wonderful, the room super clean and well stocked and they had the most bomb breakfast!!! I spent an amazing 2 night here, saw some stunning sites and just enjoyed the best of Scottish hospitality. I would 100% come back !!

Loved the friendly staff so helpful when I arrived early. Sandra's breakfast top notch arrived slightly early for breakfast and was out just as quick! Lovely fresh tasting just what I needed to set me up for a day of bowling. P.s someone who knows to make my scrambled eggs the way I like them is a big win in my book!! Slept like a log both nights and evne though it was top floor it didn't bother me it was worth it.

A very central location. Parking is at the rear of the property with a very short walk to the front door. When you enter the premises it's big , light and airy. And continues up the stairs to where the restaurant is. The next flight of stairs takes you to the room's. The first time I stayed we had a double room which is large . This time I had a smaller room but still more than big enough for a double bed. If you like a main town stay then this is it. Most of the pubs and restaurants are less than a ten minute walk. Also good for a base for touring further afield.

This isn't a criticism, just how it is , but I believe all the rooms are on the top floor so some people might find the stairs an issue . The ground floor is the entrance reception hall, then it's upstairs to the first floor which is where the restaurant is. Then second floor is where the room's are located .

The Bank Guest House is a lovely, family running house. My room was nice, clean and tidy. Location is perfect! I travel around by public transport, so it was an extra having the bus stop next to the door. Breakfast was huge and tasty. The beautiful harbour and the seaside are so close. A seaside walk to the Old Wick Castle is about 2 hours there and back, if you don't stack at the seaside.

Weather... It was definetly not the fault of the guest house.

Lovely room and location. Hostess really helpful and friendly. Nice breakfast.

Room was cold as heating was turned off so once worked out how to switch it on it then warmed up. As the room was booked in advance this could have been done prior to my arrival. Likewise bedside lamps switched off at socket so had to reach down behind the units to switch them on before then using the lamps on/off switches.

Angela our hostess was friendly, helpful and available and helped make our stay enjoyable. She gave good recommendations for where to eat in town and breakfast was timely and well cooked The room was comfortable and spacious with a good sized shower. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay.

One of the only downsides was having to carry suitcases up the stairs, however there have been very few places in Scotland where haven't had to do this!

Excellent breakfast .. only marked down "comfort" a little bit as Bank GH is looking a little tired inside .. but, modernisation would cots lots and the dilemma for proprietors would be "will we get payback?" BUT, if you need to overnight in Wick, Bank is a perfectly acceptable place for this.

A simpler process to keep the room airy .. Bank is right on the main street through the town centre but it seemed very quiet night and morning so the windows should be more about fresh air than noise pollution.
