Staff were very helpful & friendly. Room & bathroom were very clean, bed very comfortable. We ate in the restaurant in the evening, both myself & my husband had a prawn cocktail to start, which was lovely. I had a sirloin steak & my husband had the rib eye steak. Both were exceptional. We both had the steak cooked medium rare, & they were cooked to perfection. For our dessert, I had sticky toffee pudding with ice cream & my husband had the strawberry cheesecake with clotted ice cream. Both desserts were excellent. The restaurant staff were very tentative and friendly. The following morning, I had the egg's benedict, & my husband had the full English breakfast. Safe to say, we absolutely loved our evening away for our wedding anniversary. Nothing was too much for the staff. Thank you so much to all the staff at The White Swan. We will definitely be returning very soon. 💗🥰

Travelling on my motorcycle to be close to Blyton Airfield for a track day, a two night stay. Treated as 'equal' to any other guest. (any biker knows how that can sometimes be). Plenty of parking in hotel car park and feels secure. Lovely room overlooking the Green. Large walk in shower. Rooms are very clean. beds and pillows are very comfortable and the towels are good quality. All the usual tea/coffee/soap/shower gel. Ample room in wardrobe. All staff are super friendly and really professional. The absolute winner for me though was the restaurant. I am a coeliac and so over the years my expectation of a GF option for my meal usually means something is just taken away from the dish, so I am always losing out - (i.e. Think 'herb crusted Cod' - yes sir we have that as GF - no herb crust....) Well, The restaurant has a full separate GF menu and it was a joy to read and experience. Fish Pie, Lamb on pea puree and fresh veg (yes it was and al dente) I even had to double check the deserts - yes lemon tart and chocolate brownie were GF. And the food quality and presentation is also good. Wine was also good quality, could not fault my Pinot Noir. I don't really know the area, but this place is a hidden gem. Highly recommended.

I guess its all subjective but coming from an Architectural persuasion, the décor is lacking in finesse. Its a bit gaudy. Cool and classic would have been the way to go. No room safe for valuables, like my hard drive and laptop

Lovely staff, dinner was really good. My room was decent with a really nice shower and a comfy bed. Very reasonably priced too.

I had the continental breakfast. It wasn't very continental but was ok, just not great. I ordered a flat white (separate from breakfast) and it was a latte at best. Certainly not the end of the world but I'd asked (and paid) for a specific coffee as opposed to the filter coffee on offer so it would have been good to have had what I asked for.. though to be honest, Im quite used to people saying that can make a flat white coffee when asked but in reality, they don't really know what it is!

Lovely location, very modern and welcoming. Superb food and great choice on menu. Credit to the chef is well deserved. All staff very friendly and helpful. Clean and very comfortable. Off road parking.

We had not realised we were in a seperate building, unfortunately the heating had broken ( it happens) though it was a shame we were not offered a complimentary drink in the bar whilst waiting. The provided heater worked fine. I would not stay in the building again though as we could hear the chap on his phone all through the night word for word. However we would request the main building as the rooms were clean, comfortable and the food was superb. We will definitely stay again. Although if you opt for a later brekky the pastries were gone.

Location, staff and facilities all very good. We stay twice a year and the hotel is perfect for visiting my elderly father who lives in Scotter.

I always stay in room 30 with either my husband or daughter. The toilet still doesn’t seem to be fixed securely to the wall after many years, but we are used to it now. Also we were disappointed with the continental breakfast. It would be preferable to be served with hot teapots and coffee pots instead of dealing with the drink facilities at the central table.

Had a really good stay, staff were welcoming and attentive, had a great meal in the restaurant with my family, everyone enjoyed their meal immensely. Our room had been upgraded which made our stay even better. Breakfast had everything you wanted plus options which my daughter enjoyed.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare , but managed to find a space on the road, so not too much of an issue. My father has disability issues but was able to park right up to entrance then move outside.

The breakfast was nice. They were fab and kindly went and got oat milk the night before for breakfast. Bed was lovely and comfortable, bath was huge and enjoyed a lovely bubbly bath. Nice and clean and modern. Definitely looking forward to staying again.

Staff were stretched, therefore some time waiting for drinks. Unfortunately no apple juice on the table, hence had to wait. Only downside was my cooked breakfast arrived before I had the milk for my cereal.

Even though the room was small it was very clean and had everything you would need including tea coffee biscuits and a bottle of water. Meal was very tasty and the staff went out of their way to help with my dietary requirements. All the staff were friendly and helpful.

Room was on the small side with a sliding door to the bathroom. Location was a bit in the middle of nowhere but not a problem if you want peace and quiet.

Lovely large clean room. Newly decorated room in old part of pub. Bathroom modern and very nice with large shower. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast was super and extremely good value. Dinner was also really good. The restaurant and adjoining pub were very nicely decorated and there was a lovely deck and garden. Staff very friendly too.

Everything was very good. It was extremely good value so can’t complain about anything.

Very warm and welcoming staff, rooms were nicely decorated too with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits. Lovely location by a small stream and a nice restaurant and bar area too.

It was very warm in the room I was in which made it difficult to sleep overnight. Parking when I arrived (approx 7pm) wasn't possible in the car park - however I did manage to get parked on the nearby street.
