My colleague and I stayed at Albert House as we were working in the area. We stopped for 3 nights and couldn't be happier with the experience. The owners Jeff and Sue were lovely. Jeff went out of his way to make us feel welcome and as we had very early starts on two of the days food was prepared for us to take with us, which was above and beyond and really appreciated. We made breakfast on the last day as it was our day to travel home and it was set in a beautiful dining room and the food was very good. The decor of the rooms have a wow factor and it's refreshing to stay somewhere with character and personality, run by people who are passionate about delivering a great service. We'll be booking a stay there next time we go up to Brigg.

Once in a while you stumble upon a gem like this. It is an old characteristic buidling in the middle of Brigg. Extremely well maintained and decorated tastefully. The overall attention to detail is carried on to the service aswell. Jeff and Sue were very friendly and I felt everything was possible. I have therefore hardly anything to complain about. If there was something I was unhappy with, it would have been resolved anyways. I just booked the double room. High ceilings, beautifull antique furniture, spotless bathroom and the bed was very comfy and soft. I stayed alone and for one day, but I believe this is perfect for an familie or for a couple, especially to stay multiple days. Whenever I am in the area, I will most defenitely book again. really classy property with great bespoke rooms. the best thing we liked about this property were Jeff and Sue who are the nicest host we have had the pleasure of meeting. right from the moment you arrive you are greater with a smile and genuine warmth! the breakfast by the way is superb!!!

nothing to dislike it’s amazing. the only small point would be that perhaps a full sized ironing board would be good - but honestly I’m being really picky 😁

We was greeted by Jeff who was very friendly and attentive. We stayed in the loft room which was very comfortable and beautifully decorated, cleanliness was superb and everything exceed our expectations. Breakfast was super yummy and there was lots to choose from, from yoghurts and cereals to a full english which sue made fresh for us that morning. She was very polite and made sure that we had everything we needed. Brilliant stay, couldn’t recommend enough. Will definitely be heading back when we can. Myself & my Husband would certainly recommend the Albert House Hotel, Sue & Jeff are very friendly hosts, more like friends, the room we was in was perfect, everything you needed & the bed was very comfortable, the Breakfast was excellent & cooked fresh to perfection at the time you requested, the Hotel itself is based in the centre of Brigg but so quiet, it was ideally suited to us as we were visiting friends who have a restaurant there just 2 minutes walk away, we will certainly be staying there again...in fact October time

Wow ! absolutely immaculate throughout. Greeted on arrival and shown to room, beautifully decorated and absolutely immaculate. I overnight a lot with work across England and have stayed in over 25 B&Bs since Jan 2022 and this is by far the best. the breakfast room was amazing, again immaculate and everything possibly needed was available. great hosts and I will make sure if I’m in the area again I will book Albert House again. I can. not recommend enough.

Excellent breakfast, everything perfectly cooked and presented. Choice of cereals to start, then full English, ample tea or fresh coffee, toast marmalade or jam. On Easter Sunday, decorated boiled eggs too. The whole house was beautifully decorated and furnished, and spotlessly clean. Super comfortable bed, soft fluffy towels. Delightful outdoor space with seating.

Cannot find fault with anything.

The property has great character and a lot of history. The rooms are all decorated really well and in keeping with the age of the property. The courtyard garden is beautiful and really peaceful. The room was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was lovely and Sue and Jeff as hosts were by far and away the nicest, most accommodating hosts of anywhere I've ever stayed.

This isn't a negative point in any way because of how good the rest of the stay was, but I stayed in the attic room and in summer, it's very warm. There is a fan in the room which was the saviour! There also wasn't a wardrobe in the room to hang clothes up in.. I didn't need one, but just as a heads up for anybody staying in that room.

The location was perfect, my room was incredibly comfortable and Jeff and Sue were amazing hosts. What more can you ask for? Their attention to detail was fantastic. I love nice bedding and towels, and I wasn't disappointed. My room had everything that I could possibly have wanted and nothing was too much trouble. After a four hour journey, I was really looking forward to a cup of tea. Sue kindly brought up some fresh milk so that I could just relax and enjoy a hot drink. With an impending holiday looming, I was also trying to be careful on the food front. Sue kindly made a lovely bowl of fresh fruit for me, and I enjoyed perfect poached eggs and a piece of toast. I really got the feeling that Jeff and Sue would have done anything to have made my stay a great one. Thank you to you both and I would highly recommend this hidden little gem to anyone who is looking for accommodation in or around Brigg. You won't be disappointed.

We had a lovely stay at Albert House. It is a beautifully restored Victorian property. Our bedroom was spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Jeff & Sue were very friendly welcoming hosts. Sue cooked us an amazing breakfast, one of the best we’ve had! If we are visiting near Brigg in the future, we love to stay again!
