Location was brilliant for an event I was attending. Room a nice size for a single traveller, bed was huge (very comfy and I slept really well) so space might be an issue for a couple. I thought there would be some noise from the pub next door but didn’t hear a thing. Plenty of parking. WiFi good.

I wasn’t bothered by the road noise but it could put some people off. No milk in the room so couldn’t make a hot drink - wasn’t a problem for me but it should have been there. Room was basically clean but could do with a little bit more attention to detail - dusty (especially the kettle), I found a piece of glass on the floor, the bag in the bin had been emptied rather than replaced so still had bits of rubbish in, shower head broken, not sure the fan in the bathroom was working and couldn’t open the bathroom window.

I liked the large comfy bed

That our room was not ready even though we gave an estimated time of arrival and arrived a couple of hours after. For this reason, we were offered a different room ( up 12ish steps and not on the lower level as requested ) or wait 30 extra minutes for our ground floor room to be ready. Obviously, after driving for 2 hours to her to this accommodation we just wanted to relax and opted to accept the other room even though one guest is disabled and we would have to carry the pet dog up and down stairs as it was quite steep. To be fair, this shouldn't have happened and even though the bed was amazingly comfy, the host should have been expecting us, the room should have been ready and the above should not have happened.

Perfect room, comfy bed, so clean and tidy. Stayed for 3 nights end of November beginning December, we were worried about the room being cold.. how wrong we were it was perfect the whole time we there. The room it's self it tiny but it was absolutely perfect for us, lovely location and the food in the comus was beautiful aswell.. only one thing is its very noisy because its right next to a busy road( it didn't bother us but it might bother some people, especially during the week its loud from early in the morning).

Very reasonably priced room and friendly helpful staff. The restaurant serves excellent food at a very good price.

The room was basic but had what we needed. However the bathroom needs refurbishment. The property is situated on an extremely busy road so unfortunately, there is a lot of traffic noise.

Very cosy nice use of space nicely decorated comfortable manager went above and beyond to help us late check in even got us a meal when kitchen was closing as been working all day good guy and chef made a nice meal

All rooms are brand new with very comfortable and and massive bed and beddings. Bathroom, besides small, is decent and very cosy. Nice TV with smart enabled (which is rare in most of the hotels I have stayed).

Room is quite small for the massive bed which doesn't leave much space to walk around. Bathroom can stay very hot, specially because there's no ventilation besides the extractor that only works with the lights on. Also, there's NO restaurant available. So be prepared to order food (there's a local delivery available with a 6 pounds delivery fee) or driver the nearest town (Selby) to look for something.

Clean, big TV and good facilities (eg electric points for phone charging). Good pub, parking and Turkish style restaurant on site was very convenient. Staff were helpful. Good for a stopover. Excellent value.

Rather hot and airless in room (but it was a very hot day). Bed (two singles pushed together) was too big for the room size. No wifi, and an issue with no hot water in the morning. Traffic a bit noisy with the window open. Positives outweigh negatives.

I liked everything about this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They were happy to arrange a late check out for us so my husband could do a zoom call for work and it meant we didn't need to find somewhere quiet to do the meeting. The rooms were comfy and warm. The bed was large and I had the best night sleep our whole trip, I wish we'd stayed for more than one night. The facilities are great, although the rooms aren't large they're big enough for resting in. The pub is lovely and welcoming, and the prices are amazing. I'll say it again I liked everything about this place and we'll definitely be back when we're next in the area or passing through.

very clean, good location, lovely staff. When we got back The pub was closing but the lad behind the bar let us have a drink and a game of pool before closing. Great take away delivered from a place called la Bella if you want food.

It is next a busy road but unless your a very light sleeper this won’t bother you, it didn’t us. Note when travelling to type in the post code rather than the Booking.com address as this took us 20 mins in the wrong direction. when Rang the hotel the lady kindly directed us.

No breakfast was provided which was not a problem.

I was delighted with the room. I checked in at past 8 pm and had already eaten on my 250 mile journey. I would not have had time to have a breakfast anyway as I had to leave very early. There was no coffee sachets or creamers only tea for use with the kettle but these were provided on request.
