Everyone was so friendly and they communicated great as a team which is a breath of fresh air to see. The complimentary breakfast was Devine and set out great so all you had to do was come downstairs and sit down. The room was lovely and simple and the beds very comfy. Really had everything you needed and there is even a mini fridge with free drinks in on the landing outside the rooms which I thought was a brilliant touch.

The only critique I have is that a few of the plugs in our room were loose and a couple of the lamps didn’t work. That’s if I’m being fussy.

We had an excellent stay at the Hart's Head. We were warmly welcomed and throughout our stay all the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable and nicely decorated. The fridge at the top of the stairs with complimentary water, milk, and fruit juices was a nice touch. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and a very friendly waitress. We ate dinner in the restaurant both nights and it was first class with efficient staff and a nice atmosphere created by a good mix of locals and residents. We enjoyed the walk into Settle (going through Giggleswick then through a little cut to a pedestrian bridge over the roaring river Ribble) and we also liked wandering around the lovely village of Giggleswick which we'd never seen despite having visited Settle many times.

We stayed at the Harts Head for two nights before and after a three peaks challenge. The check in was seamless on arrival and greeted by friendly staff and locals! I have a number of allergies which generally means there are either no options or the food I’m offered isn’t up to much - this cannot be said for Harts Head. I had the most delicious steak burger on a GF bun and the staff & chef went out of their way to ensure we both enjoyed our meals. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable but the place is made special by the staff they employ. Nothing is too much trouble and they genuinely care and want you to enjoy your stay. We will be back!

The only thing we didn’t like was having to check out we could have gladly lazed in our room for another day 😊

Giggleswick is an attractive village and it was a pleasant walk into Settle town centre and railway station. The hotel is a fine, old stone building. Parking was convenient and free. The room was comfortable, and the bathroom reasonably large, with a bath. The breakfast choice was pretty good, with a vegan option, and the food was very well cooked. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Although the room was comfortably furnished, the wallpaper and decoration was looking a little tired. As were the spaces around the exterior of the hotel, which is basically a pub with rooms. A fairly minor, but easily rectifiable issue: the hotel did not provide any green or peppermint tea or similar, either in the rooms or at breakfast.

Loved the friendly staff, how clean everything was and the little touches like the juice, water and milk fridge outside the rooms. The breakfast was beautiful, loved that the pastries were warm and the different options on the menu. Host was so lovely too. We had our evening meal at the pub b&b and the food was lovely, hearty pub grub. I love the cheese and onion pie and my partner loved the steak and ale pie

I feel like I'm nit picking a little but felt since the bath was so deep when in the shower a support rail would of been nice. The bath towels were a little too small, maybe adding a bath sheet would be nice? Everything else was so great though!

Fresh milk for tea/coffee provided in small bottles, also water and orange juice provided for guests in a communal small fridge - Excellent touch, much appreciated! Free parking onsite. Very tasty, good value and quality meals in the evening (we pre-booked but they do accomodate walk-in) and good cooked breakfast too. Room and bathroom very clean, great shower and plenty of hot water. Bed soft and very comfortable. Free WiFi. Staff all very friendly and helpful, made us very welcome. Location within walking distance of Settle, but Giggleswick itself is beautiful too and worth exploring.

Little surprised that there was no shower screen or shower curtain on the above bath shower, looked like it was under repair, but we managed okay. Could also do with a non-slip bath mat being provided as standard, no doubt if we had asked I am sure they would have provided one.

The owners are very welcoming, polite and accommodating, the building is very clean, the prices are relatively cheap, they have a fridge on the floor where the rooms are that have complimentary bottles of water, cartons of orange and apple juice and small glass bottles of milk, the breakfast was very nice and fresh, all the pastry items were freshly baked that morning, I really enjoyed my stay and if I am ever in the area again I will attempt to get a room at this hotel

Good breakfast menu. Full English well cooked, generous and nicely served. Evening meal Thwaites ale steak pie, fries, mushy peas and excellent gravy each for ourselves and a friend who joined us well enjoyed. Thwaites bitter as accompaniment close to perfection. Enjoyed our Friday night!

A little more ambience for the evening meal time as we were the only table enjoying our meal in the restaurant area. On our previous visit the res. was very busy which always adds to the pleasurable dining experience. The lovely fine art wallpaper murals just looking a little bit tired. We know the original works well as maybe others do so and they really are a good source of interest and talking point.

The location is great. Staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing. Loved the free drinks for the rooms, cold milk for tea and coffee. Rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable.

The bathroom in our room could do with a refresh. Some of the seal was missing on the shower so water did leak out.

we stayed here overnight for a wedding and it was lovely. when we arrived the staff overheard us talking about arranging a taxi to the wedding venue and without hesitation offered to drop us off which was lovely so thank you for that. when we returned from the wedding our bags were outside our room and we had a lovely nights sleep. The rooms are lovely and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. In the morning we were greeted and served a lovely breakfast which was super tasty. Would definitely stay here again.
