Lovely big room, comfy bed and good shower. Warm welcome and we felt very much at home. The pub downstairs is always busy, very easy going. Food is decent, always very quick and hot delivered in big portions - same as the included breakfast. Noise from the pub is hardly noticed in the room, so generally a good nights sleep. Location was good, train station in walking distance if you head to Horton or Ribblehead. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend this place.

The host can hardly do anything about other guests who are loud all night in the room next door, so one night was a bit hard to get sleep. Bathroom or the room could do with some hooks or a rail for towels and after first night we didnt get new toilet roll, tea etc - but after asking all perfect and overall nothing major. We would definitely come back!

The hotel has great parking situated just off the main A65, arrival was made easy with the pre - checkin and the young guy who met me on arrival insisted on carrying my bags to my room. I had a very relaxing shower before going down to the bar for an evening meal, the availability was amazing for a small village pub, I had simple but succulent fish & chips washed down witha couple of pints of oh so well kept traditional ale, before retiring for the night in a very comfortable bed. The breakfast this morning didn't disappoint either, traditional full english with fruit juce, toast and the all important fresh coffee, none of that instant rubish, everything came together to make it a very enjoyable.

Thank you for a lovely stay. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was gorgeous, exactly as in photos, and the view from the beer garden is unbeatable! Lovely food in the restaurant. I travelled alone so was delighted to find a quiz night on the Friday and a singer on Saturday, made even better by the warm welcome from the locals. Really appreciated the generous pack up for my hike in lieu of breakfast due to a very early start. Will definitely stay again when next in the area. 10/10!

The room was in a great condition, and very spacious. Other reviews mention that the accommodation appears to have been refurbished recently, and I'd agree (it's also been kept in good nick too though). The location is good, though if you're travelling via public transport you're at the mercy of the train and bus timetables. The village is quaint, but if you're looking for more substantial places to eat, drink and shop you'll want to venture into nearby Settle.

The WiFi wasn't great which, considering phone signal in the area can be patchy, is a bit of a hindrance when trying to book or plan anything.

Great location for getting out into the dales. Great hotel and staff and a great price. Large room with nice large window and seat, looking out onto the road. Staff really nice and friendly made me feel at home. Room is modern and well decorated.

Only slight issue was the food, if I’m paying £18 for a steak I expect better quality and presentation. The steak is the highlight so don’t want it covered in mushrooms! Which funnily enough were the best part of the dish, and I don’t really like mushrooms but didn’t change my opinion of the hotel and will definitely be back to stay again.

The room was fantastic, so much space and incredibly clean and comfortable! It was quiet and easy to relax in the room. The facilities were perfect for a quiet night away, could happily have stayed longer. The breakfast was hot and fresh and really tasty I would highly recommend it. They had great recommendations for local walks and activities for every age.

There was nothing to dislike, other than regretting not booking an extra night or two. Everyone was fantastic and very welcoming, would highly recommend to others and hope to visit again soon.

We had prior communication before we arrived which was efficient & prompt. We arrived at the Inn around 6:30pm and shown to our room which was very clean & comfortable. We booked a table in the bar as we wanted to do the quiz too! very nice place to stay with kind & friendly locals and hosts! The bar menu isn’t extensive but plenty of choice & specials available too. Breakfast was good with choice of full English, kippers, ham & eggs, cereal etc! Very dog friendly, we would all stay again!

Nice large room (No 3) which was very clean & had a large comfortable bed, the room was well presented with a definite feminine touch. Good sized bathroom with bath & nice hot shower. Very friendly staff & lovely bar area with multi fuel stoves making it warm & cosy. Excellent evening meal & breakfast. Free parking at the rear of the property.

The emergency exit light above the bedroom room door was a little bright for me & the hot water in the basin didn’t appear to be working so well but neither thing detracted from a very pleasant one night stay.

The room was absolutely fabulous. Breakfast good too. Evening meal pretty decent as well.

The staff. Unwelcoming in the extreme. First words were the price, followed by cash or card? Last words were have you paid? Not much in between. Maybe because we travel full time and were previously working in hospitality we notice these things more. If you want decent hardware this is 10/10. If you prefer average hardware but great software this scored very low on our visit. Apparently they'd had a busy bank holiday but isn't that a good thing in these times? There were 3 people in the bar when we arrived. No hot water for a shower - because of the busy day. I'll give a 10 whenever possible but I'm afraid I expect at least to be greeted with hello.

Quiet location so had a good night's sleep. Yorkshire tea provided in room. Window seat and sofa in room so not just a bed for the night very homely feel about the place. Cleanliness was notably good throughout the establishment not just in the room.

I was unable to hang around until 0830 for breakfast due to commitments with work I was offered a light breakfast for around 0800 but didn't want to be late so was unable to enjoy what I'm sure was a good Yorkshire breakfast.
