Service at breafast was very slow resulting in me being late on arrival at site despite having allowed ptenty of time. Staff were friendly. Car parking was good. Location was fab for the site I was visiting Very old building, lots of character Very convenient for the site I was visiting Restaurant had lots of space

Breakfast was very slow arriving Skirting boards and architrave on the toilet cubicle were very grimy at the bottom Had the soup for dinner and it arrived tepid Breakfast took ages to arrive - to the extent that I went from having "oodles" of time to being late arriving on site. Opted for the veggie breakfast at £9.50 but was then charged £12:00 (the price on the menu for a full English) as I'd had a pot of tea. Noisy mattress - sounds odd but I think the mattress was based on springs so everytime I breathed, I could hear "ping, ping. ping" from below. Ended up with earphones and listening to the radio, then managed to get to sleep. Directions to the rooms were not clearly marked, some were hidden behind a plant

As we left the hotel at 4.45 we weren't there for breakfast. We arrived at 19.30 and we didn't want dinner. We checked in to our and then went and had a drink in the lounge and had nearly night aa we were getting up at 3.15. The room was very clean and the facilities were excellent with tea and coffee provided. I booked the room because of the hotels proximity to terminal 5. It was an easy 10 minute drive to the airport. In future when I am flying from Heathrow and need to stay overnight I will book the Ostrich Inn

I kinda stumbled across the Ostrich Inn in Colnbrook. An attractive Inn with a traditional pubs vibe. The food was well received by the locals and my room was both historically old and modern at the same time. Spotless and comfortable. Bar lady happy and very welcoming. Special mention to the lady manager . . . Just exceptional. I will head back to the Ostrich again. Definitely.

There was Zero I didn't like! It lashed it down with torrential rain and aircraft took off every 30 seconds (er it is next to LHR) but this did not matter a jot@

It is a really quirky pub! In a great location for Terminal 5 at Heathrow, for either a flight or picking up, which we were. They let our cousins come back to freshen up in our room after their long haul flight and we all had breakfast! It was really nice. The bed was really comfortable We will definitely stay here again when we need to.

Just the shower in our room, it had no seal on the bottom of the door and the water just flooded out into the bathroom floor! We think this was the cause of the slightly damp smell in the bathroom.

The Ostrich Inn had lovely rooms that were quite roomy with updated bathrooms - we particularly liked the showers. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the pub was very nice - was grateful for the suggestion to book the restaurant when I made the room booking, as it was very busy.

Although not a huge problem, there were limited Gluten Free options available on the menu - would suggest having more options or flexibility to adapt a meal to be Gluten Free as an improvement.

Stayed for one night before flying from Heathrow. Can leave your car there for £7 a night and the local taxi to the airport was approx 10 minutes and £20. Very old, historical and beautiful pub. Room was quite small but comfortable. Had an evening meal there which was delicious. Didn't have breakfast as we left early in the morning. Make sure you book a downstairs room if you have luggage as there isn't a lift that I could see.

Established in 1106 AD! I love this place--I've stayed here twice. It's beautiful, the pub is very good, the rooms are nice and comfortable, and it's only 10-15 minutes from London Heathrow Airport (terminal 5, use line 703).

It's about an hour away from London's top sites, but so is London Heathrow Airport, so it is what it is. You can easily take the 703 bus and the tube (underground train, Picadilly line going towards Cockfosters) into the city, which is what I did, with no issues.

It was a gorgeous blend of historical character and modern amenities along with a pub/beer garden, and a phenomenal restaurant! I will recommend this property to anyone that Iknow who will be traveling to England/London

The only issue we had was that after the restaurant and pub closed the side of the hotel where are kids were sleeping could not be accessed by us because we did not have a key to get into that side of the hotel. It would not have been a problem for us at all until I had an asthma attack and my inhaler was accidentally left in our kiddos room. My hubby used the fire escape and it set off the fire alarm, which we were very sorry about, but it stopped after about 15 minutes.

Such a neat little gem! The inn is one of the oldest in England and close to Heathrow as well as Windsor castle. Great food at the pub and the atmosphere is very much old English inn, but with all the modern amenities. Would highly recommend. I’m only disappointed I didn’t get to try the strawberry gin!

Stairs are uneven - it adds to the charm but challenging with small children. The public transport from LHR is challenging unless you’re in terminal 5 so I would recommend taking a taxi if you don’t want to take an hour to get to the airport.

This was a trip down memory lane for us as we used to live in Colnbrook. Stunning hotel steeped in history 👌 😍 ❤. Comfy beds, clean room, lovely dinners and breakfasts and reasonably priced too. Staff were exceptionally good 👍 particularly Cherry and Niva. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. Looking forward to our next trip.

Only 1 thing missing from room 8 and that would be perhaps a net curtain in the bathroom. That would save having to pull the blackout blind down when using it. Other than that very small issue, nothing wrong with room.
