Clean, comfortable and functional, close to the airport.

While it’s only a short distance to the airport, the buses are not reliable and it did take me about 20 minutes before an Uber accepted our ride (which inevitably led to some anxiety). It would be great if the hotel offered a reliable shuttle service (even for a fee, of course).

All staff seemed friendly and greeted us as we passed by reception. A shout out to Emily who was very efficient and helpful at check-in and went above and beyond the call of duty. The lobby past reception was just a little stuffy and we both feared that the room would be equally so. However, to our relief, upon opening the door to our room it was not stuffy at all, was bigger than expected and had tea/coffee making facilities and a large TV. The single bed was narrow but perfectly adequate. The other bed l would guess was a King Size and both very comfortable. The window could be opened on both sides with a limiter, I guess for safety/security reasons. There was a large fan in the corner of the room, but we didn’t use it. The shower pressure and temperature was fine and plenty of various sized towels were provided. The toilet flusher had a little quirk in that you had to fight with it a little to stop the toilet cistern filling infinitely, but not a big deal. Overall the shower and toilet were very clean, as was the room in general.

There was a little noise in the early morning around 5:30am where a car was departing from just below our room. This was the only noise that woke us momentarily. However, the background noise of road traffic in the near distance wasn’t noticeable to us during the night, even with both windows open.

Property is very clean and staff are very friendly.I came to this place out of desperation but during my check in GUISEPPE and RYAN was very helpful and my 5th night here and they are still make me feel at home. ALEX is so kind friendly and there is one more lady(Polish) i forgot her name is so kind and helpful too. I would go and stay at Radisson Blue or IHG hotels similar price because i am VIP member in those hotels but this people and very comfortable bed making me stay here. 2/3 star hotel but 5 star comfy and service,you wont disappointed.

I cant say i didn’t like but i wish there was a fridge in the room.I am allowed to use their fridge but i feel like i am disturbing them.

The location was good for us. Staff friendly and helpful, and our request for ground floor accommodated

The breakfast was not great. I don't think this was down to Days Inn as breakfast is provided by another hotel, Ramada. Here catering staff not at all friendly, not a lot of food ready, and eggs had to be ordered, including scrambled eggs, felt like we were eating full English breakfast piece by piece as each bit arrived separately. Milk, juice, and no hot water for tea. Reception staff at Ramada, though, was helpful both evening before and in the morning. Helped get us some hot water for tea.

- Spacious room, kettle with coffee and tea, even a bath tub - close to the airport - a small "mall" behind the hotel: a really nice surprise :) - good value for money

- the bathroom smelled strange, like someone smoked in there - unfortunately it was really badly soundproofed, that means that from 3am on (makes sense at hotel close to the airport) we heard the people on the floor above us running around, probably packing, later pulling suitcases etc. It was so loud that we woke up from it more than once, probably because the ceilings and walls were pretty thin...

Absolutely lovely hotel, perfect for over night stay /stop over very close by to Airport. Only downfall which is no fault to the hotel, transfer from Stansted Coach station buses VERY unreliable. And did not happen to wait to end up postation for over 2 hours for a bus to take us a 10 minute drive to the hotel and then ended up having to pay for a bolt can service which cost £30.40 for a 10 minute drive. Just wish I had ordered earlier as I would have been able to spend more time at the hotel to relax & prepare for our early night for early start back to the airport for a morning flight. Very clean and immaculate hotel. Lovely customer service would definitely book again.

Appalling bus service and very unreliable.

Comfy beds, decent bathroom - bar extraction fan. Perfect for stopping over and getting a good nights sleep before an early flight in the morning.

Directions to the hotel weren’t the clearest but these are probably more on the service station than the hotel. Noisy but what do expect stopping close proximity to the airport. Not the hotels fault. Not the most car parking spaces available but still managed to bag one. Weak extraction fan in the bathroom.

I had a family emergency and had to change the booking a lovely gentleman accommodated this as I was having trouble with the booking website. On arrival Alma the lovely receptionist was amazing, thank you lovely lady you went above and beyond. Very clean room lovely housekeeping staff

Had trouble with the WiFi. However, I should have queried this but didn't bring this to the attention of the lovely helpful staff but watched the TV instead

The young man on reception was very friendly and helpful, my room was very nice, everything was clean and comfortable.

A taxi from Stanstead would of cost me £20 but the local bus from the airport cost me £2 I think it would be helpful to customers if you added this information to your website. As it was dark when I got off the bus, it was difficult to find the path, but I followed a young man who showed me a short cut, it was muddy path and difficult to see as their were no lights.

The room and especially the bed were really comfortable... The staff at reception are extremely helpful too especially the lad on reception on my departure date. Thank you for the advice and ordering me a taxi 😀

The only downside is there weren't any fans in the room... Not sure if I could have got one from reception so maybe I should have asked as I naturally get too warm... Will be staying again next time I'm in the area though 😀
