The service was great. Checked in after 1am and 3 staff were there looking after the late night flight arrivals. The size & comfort of the bed. The Nespresso coffee machine.

Some unusual decor in the business room (4117) I stayed in. Probably a good idea when designed 15 years ago but not exactly statement pieces. A weird mirror and a pendant light were a bit dated. Only other thing is I wonder when the shower head was last de-scaled and cleaned as I could feel on top of the stainless unit head and it was very dusty. Just also wish hotels could find a milk product or offer to put in a 1/2 pint milk carton in the room fridge upon request and as an extra. English guests like tea and usually with milk. It tastes rubbish with UHT substitutes and yet almost not British hotels offer the idea unless you go looking for it.

The location to the airport is brilliant. Access the hotel via a covered walkway directly from the main hall. The hotel responded quickly and positively to any requests. The room was really lovely with a comfy bed. But the very best thing for me was the breakfast. As a vegetarian coeliac I can very rarely find things to eat on hotel breakfast menus but the radisson blu was excellent. Gluten free cereal and bread were separated from Gluten containing items. Everything had individual serving tongs so no risk of cross contamination. Really excellent management of the areas for people with food intolerance or lifestyle choice. Well done!

I couldn't sleep because I couldn't turn off the Aircon at night. Frustratingly I managed to turn it off in the morning I must have just been so tired after a nighttime flight that i couldn't figure it out. 🙂

Perfect location on walking distance from the airport. Friendly check in and nice looking interior. Rooms are quiet, and beds are comfortable. Seems to be sound proof. And seems I got upgraded to a superior with view on the airport.

Cleanliness could be better. At check in I was told check out is 12. So as I had a long journey the day before and another long one ahead I was taking my sweet time to get ready and relax. But housekeeping came knocking at 11.30 asking g when I was planning to leave they needed to clean the room. This was very disturbing.. its very fine if they come knocking when guests haven't left at 12 yet. But I still had 30 min.. when I left the room they were waiting in front of the room om the ground.. thats just bad and unnecessary.

The breakfast was good. The location is superb: five minutes walk from the airport terminal. The bed was comfortable. The staff were professional and efficient and I was particularly impressed by Chloe, the manager, who was really exceptionally helpful, efficient, insightful and effective.

There was a narrow, 3-inch long black mark on the net curtain at the window that looked like a cigarette burn. How is that even possible? The airconditioning seemed to be faulty: I could only change the intensity of the fan, I couldn't alter the temperature of the room. When we've stayed there in the past, the hotel was good value for money but on this occasion I found it very expensive. Perhaps they had temporarily raised their prices to take advantage of a period of very high demand for hotel accomodation in the London area (two hotels in London that we had used before were fully booked that evening and we could not get a room there).

The location was excellent, the rooms big and the bed comfy. The decor was quite retro, which was quite fun but not to everyone's taste. Check in was a bit disorganised with no clear queue, so people cut in front of me and it took a while, but the staff were pleasant and helpful when I needed to change rooms.

This is a personal thing, but I have bad vertigo, and almost all rooms are accessed by suspended glass walkways in a 5 story atrium - a literal nightmare for me, and I had a panic attack when I got out of the lift and tried to get to my room. I had to ask to be moved. There are no ground floor rooms, so if you have an issue with heights, you'll need to ask for a room you can access from the stairs.

My stay ended up being measured in hours rather than days, as I was detained in London and only arrived late in the evening. Booked this hotel to ease the catching of an early morning flight, it was perfect for that. Excellent ease of access from the airport train station (a <10 minute walk), likewise return to the airport in the morning. The facilities were excellent, large comfortable room, and the breakfast was very good, and early enough for an early flight. Price was very reasonable, particularly considering 'off airport' sites are not a great deal less and involve additional transport time and cost.

I love how despite having booked a different date and it not being free cancellation, the hotel were willing to accommodate my change of travel. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and despite being very busy, was quiet in the rooms allowing us to have a decent few hours sleep in between flights. The room was clean and the bed so comfy. We ate in one of the restaurants and the food was exceptional. All staff were kind and friendly making our stay even better. I wish we were able to stay longer.

The only issue I found was the lack of plug sockets. There was one high up on the wall which was difficult to use as the phone charger cables didn’t reach the ground and nothing to sit it on. This wouldn’t usually be a problem as there were 2 other uk plug sockets and a foreign one (thankfully I had an adapter handy) but I wanted to charge 2 phones, a tablet and a ecig so it was turn about 😆 no major drama though.

I've stayed here many times, and I'm always impressed by the excellent customer service, the overall standards of the hotel, and the superb breakfast. The young lady at reception, Angela, was professional and friendly; a real credit to the hotel. I could write a separate review alone just on the breakfast. It was delicious! There is an amazing choice of hot food (full English), salads, delicatessen, pastries, biscuits, fruits, nuts, bread, rolls, coffee, tea, and fruit juices. The manager of the restaurant, a lady with blonde hair who I think is Polish, was welcoming and professional. Excellent!

The rooms were clean and well stocked.

My husband ordered and paid for a breakfast. Earlier I ordered a cup of tea and a cup of coffee. At checkout she asked if we’d had the breakfast, we explained only my husband had it, she questioned that. When we got home we had been charged for three breakfasts. When I called to ask about the charges, I was hung up on numerous times. Not happy!! Called credit card company to dispute the charges. Very poor customer service.

The restaurant. Maitre D in jacket seated us, was not friendly. Sat for 10mins, asked if ready to order, hadn't been given a menu. Ordered, the food came out, prawns crackers on butter chicken, had said no to them.. and no drinks arrived yet. Finished meal, still no drinks. Took 25mins for our drinks to arrive after asking 3 pple to sort this. Burger was a 8/10. Butter chicken 8/10. It was NOT worth the £81 that we got charged (had ordered a 2nd drink). We paid but were unhappy with the cost vs service. Thumbs up for young man in dreams with the golden smile, he was the only good staff member.
