The staff were extremely friendly. Within minutes of walking through the door, the 2 ladies running the bar, the chef and the locals were very welcoming. The food was excellent too, big portions and good value. My room was plenty big enough for me, the bed was comfy and the shower was great.

I would have rather been at the back of the property so that I didn't hear the cars on the main road. I am a light sleeper so I woke up quite a lot throughout the night.

Our room was comfortable and warm, which was appreciated after getting soaked through whilst walking. We had dinner in the restaurant and there was a good choice of food and reasonably priced. We had good service and the food was very nice.

The shower wasn't the greatest - not much power. It was noisy from doors banging as people went in and out below and from other rooms around us. This didn't continue too late so didn't disturb sleep. Probably can't be helped in a busy pub.

We loved the dinner and breakfast - absolutely flawless and great value for money. All of the staff were wonderful and helped give us tips for our day. The chef was great, very friendly and lovely food. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Great stay!

The sound travels very easily between bedrooms and we found it hard to fall asleep with the noise from other rooms. We loved the bnb otherwise and I’m not sure what can be done about it!

Enjoyed an overnight stay with my daughter and her spaniel Barney. On arrival we were warmly greeted by Natasha who showed us to our family room, king size bed plus sofa bed. Room was spotlessly clean with a well stocked tea tray, toiletries and hairdryer. We enjoyed a drink in the bar, dogs are welcome and the staff very hospitable. The king size bed was so comfortable, unfortunately the sofa bed not so great resulting in my daughter sharing with me, not an issue as plenty of space and we had a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was superb, full English and all freshly cooked. We liked that the meat is locally sourced, the eggs from next door’s hens and vegetables from a greengrocers. The homemade bread was delicious. My daughter had plans for the morning and due to the inclement weather I decided to stay at the Inn. Natasha was lovely and let me have a late check out at no additional cost, meaning I could relax and admire the most spectacular views from the bedroom windows. We will definitely return and look forward to enjoying an evening meal as the menu sounded delicious.

Only minor criticism is the sofa bed, nice to have a sofa in the room to sit on and watch TV. However, it was not comfortable to sleep on due to the thin mattress.

Beautiful views and welcoming, friendly owners on hand and nothing was too much trouble. Even stayed with us until an ambulance arrived at around 2am! Breakfast was great and though we didn't eat in restaurant the food looked amazing.

We stayed on a Monday and bar/restaurant closes on a monday so could not get food or drink. Unfortunately we had been up all night in A & E so had to drive out to eat. The owners did ask us if we needed any shopping though as they knew what had happened and we were aware of the monday closing beforehand.

The location was fantastic with the views unreal, especially from our window waking up, which was too good (top left window on the pic). Food had plenty of options and tasted lovely. Only stayed one night. However, the staff could not do enough for you even in the morning for breakfast. Most importantly, they did morretti on tap, ha 😆 thanks for a great stay

A family run business who make you feel warm and welcome from the time you book until you leave. The location is perfect as a base for exploring the local area. I feel I have to mention the very high standard of food. Its not the run of the mill bar food here. Its food fitting of a Manor house. I only wish we had stayed longer to try everything on the menu. All very reasonably priced as well. Real ale behind the bar and an open log fire. Large selection of drinks and food all day and the breakfast was spot on. Whether you are looking for a place to stay or after a meal with a proper local feel then you won't be let down if you give the Manor House a try. Well worth a visit.

Everything. The room was clean and everything you needed. View was amazing. Staff were lovely. Had lunch and evening meal and it was exceptional (I recommend the fish and chips). Breakfast was best I have ever come across when staying away. They made my dog welcome even gave her a sausage for breakfast. I will definitely recommend staying there and I will be returning in the future.

One little thing a bit more selection in alcoholic drinks. Eg bottles fruity cider and spirits. But that's my personal preference

Cosy room which had everything needed for a short stay. Friendly, welcoming and helpful hosts. Delicious food and nice atmosphere in the pub/restaurant. Beautiful location and views. I will definitely be staying again when in the area.

A small thing but a hook on the back of the bathroom door would be a great addition to the room. Wifi info in the room needs updating but I was able to find out the info easily directly from the hosts.

The whole experience at The Manor House Inn was exceptional. The room was lovely, warm, exceptionally clean and a lovely "tea tray" and complimentary toiletries, The standard of food was unbelievable. Breakfast was excellent, hot and lots of choice. Dinner was on another level. We ate there both nights and were highly impressed with everything we ate. We had our dog with us who was also treat like a princess!

Everything was perfect. No issues at all.
