A very beautiful place, with a delightful courtyard where the scent of jasmin and hummingbirds greet you on arrival. And where you can sit and relax. The room was pleasant, comfortable and clean. Great to have free bikes to enjoy getting out of the old quarter and to the beach!

The breakfast was very disappointing: lots of sugary, highly processed and rather stale stuff. The biggest disappointment was the terrace: having seen the pictures of it, we were so looking forward to sitting there, to relax and take in the view of the river. But most unfortunately, another hotel is being built right in front of it, causing noise and totally blocking the view. Sad for us, and most upsetting for the owners of this lovely old building full of character. I can’t even understand how it’s allowed, especially in a World Heritage Site.

The posada is delightful. Rooms are arranged around a patio with flowering plants and a fountain. The rooms are decorated in a light country style, not very spacious and clean. The ladies managing the place are nice and helpful. The posada is conveniently located so that you can easily walk to the center and marine promenade.

The breakfast was only sweet, good, but lacking any savoury options. I think they should make the effort of cleaning the room's walls from the traces of smashed mosquitos, as the are quite gross.

Charming old building on a side street overlooking the water from some rooms, over the lovely courtyard for others. Bags of wonderful character with wooden floors, doors and window shutters all with antique fittings. Shower and bathroom are all equipped with modern fittings, which worked well, although the shower drain was a bit slow. Beds were comfortable and room was spotlessly clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to store our luggage safely until the check-in time.

Unfortunately our room, Santa Rita, was above the reception area so we could clearly hear everyone checking in. Still, that wasn't a major issue except when trying to siesta around 2pm. Also the steps up to the room could be a challenge for some. Also, as of April 2023 there is extensive renovation and construction going on at the neighboring buildings so it was sometimes noisy but never too early or late. Not the fault of the hotel, I realise, but good to know. Breakfasts had only sweet options, but with a nice variety of pastries. Coffee was very good and juice and toast were also available. Some protein would have been nice however.

Location was excellent, at the end of a dead end street with no traffic noise. But right around the corner from the main street filled with restaurants and the barrio historico. Beds were very comfortable and nice hot shower.

Breakfast was plentiful, but the same each morning. Cereal and heavy on the pastries. No fruit or youghurt. Remember to bring mosquito spray as they are plentiful throughout the city.

The location and the room were nice. Also the staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is simple but good enough.

Unfortunatelly the hotels neighbors are construction sites and there is some noise during the day. it didn't break our plans as we used all the time to walk around town and visit Carmello. The external areas such as the rooftop could have a better maintenance.

the room style and bed comfort was lovely. good quiet air con. and lovely decor.

reception spoke very little English and seemed to be in a hurry. massive key that you have to take with you as the reception is not manned all the time and we were told there are 3 doors you need to unlock before you get to the bedroom. we found two! very uncomfortable metal chairs in all the shared areas. need cushions. and a mosquito pool on one of the roof tops overlooked by the terrace. a shame really it was all a bit unkempt. but the bedroom was very comfortable.

The hotel is charming with the internal patio. People are really nice and it is really calm in the end of a street . A beach is ending the street (border of rio del plata) and there is many free parking place in the street.

When we were there, there was construction work going on right next door, so it was noisy in the morning when the workers arrived. This inconvenience won't be there forever.

Check in went well, room is clean, plenty of closet space, good shower with immediate warm water and easy control. Very nice courtyard and touring bicycles available to guests. Very good location and easy checkout.

Wifi signal was very week in the room but adequate in the common courtyard Breakfast was basically hard boiled eggs, overripe apple, assorted breads and pastries, way too sugary and starchy for me my liking. Would be nice to have a better choice of fibre and fruit and some yoghurt.

Beautiful hotel, the location is the best, loved that they have free bikes for clients to use. The staff was friendly and good service.

There is some maintenance work that would be great and increase the experience of guests, especially checking the bikes as many of them weren't working well. The curtains weren't black out, and they Jeep the patio lights all night, so that was a bit annoying

Location is great, the rooms are clean but a bit small. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had a frog in our room, we could hear it entering the room but the cleaners couldn’t find it. We found it at night and had to take it outside ourselves.
