Radisson Colonia Del Sacramento Hotel

Great location on the riverfront. The hotel common area is around a pool which is directly in front of the river. The hotel is in the old town, so you can walk to restaurants and shops very easily. Our room was very large with a balcony. The breakfast buffet was very substantial and many options. Juan at the front desk was very helpful with getting a SIM card to work. He spoke excellent English. The check in was easy and the woman who helped us was very friendly. She sent chocolates to our room for our wedding anniversary. We paid $ 115/night including breakfast. This was an excellent rate for such a nice property.

Pool area had no bar service. Many towels from guests left on the chairs and loungers. The constant thump of disco music around the pool starts about 11 AM.

We we're happy with the hotel's location, not too long of a cab journey away from the Buquebus ferry. It's at the end of a quiet side street, right at the water. The view from the pool was great, especially at sunset. Breakfast was alright and staff were helpful when we required their help. I would come back again.

I found the interiors and furnishing to be quite old and in need of a change. Some of the pool area, underneath the edge slabs are also in need of a clean.

Hotel sent their driver to pick us up at the bus station. Check in was fast and friendly. Desk clerk was very friendly and tried to help me find a battery for my camera. Corner suite had an awesome view of the pool and the river. Breakfast was good. We had a cheeseburger and salad for dinner at the restaurant. It was good. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

I paid for a Spa Tub suite. Spa tub was totally disfunctional. Restaurant full dining menu not available until 7:30PM, too late for us. Breakfast was good but no comparison to what we had at the Radisson in Montevideo.

Very good location. River front rooms have a beautiful view. Staff at front desk were very helpful and had good English skills

The property is dated. The patio door was difficult to open. Peeling paint and other indications of wear. Beds were too firm for us although I know this is personal preference not shared by all. The indoor pool is open to the upper floors creating sauna in the lobby and hall. Exercise equipment was old and not adequate , especially the nautilus-style weight item.

Staff was very helpful and eager to provide great services. The breakfast buffet was large with many options to chose from. The pool was a nice getaway from the heat.

The faucet in the bathroom was overused and turned itself off after a while. The shower head was very old and sprayed water across the bathroom. Overall, the entire property seemed a bit dated.

Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. Location was the best for a city like Colonia del Sacramento.

The room and the furniture in it needs renovation. The bathroom had loose tiles in the floor, water was allocated underneath the tiles and everything looked old and weary. For a room of 240 USD the ninght I was expecting better.

Fabulous staff! Fantastic location, and great dining room, outdoor pool and living room that hand over the river. Nice indoor pool and gym too.

Jacuzzis were like warm and needed a cleaning. Sauna wasn’t on but I assume it is easy to turn on. The shampoo, conditioner and lotion are in small plastic bottles - bad for the environment.

the pool and sauna were fantastic, the service in restaurant was excellent, the location was beyond great. The bed was very good and view was amazing.

It was a little pricey and the breakfast was more continental than I would like, mostly bread and milk. (But staff helped me so much), variety like breakfast meats and salads would suit the price of breakfast and restaurant in general was pricey.

The hotel has great facilities like 2 pools, hot tubs, a gym and good services. The view from the balcony and from the pool area to the sunset is breathtaking. You can easily walk around the old city and get to great restaurants and sights easy and safely.

The restaurant could be better - more options for room service. What I ordered was not great considering its pruce. You also have to pay a fee to get the order to your room.

great position near the old town. good outdoor swimming pool . lovely room overlooking the pool and river, worth the upgrade.

sometimes all the sun beds were taken( there aren’t that many) . jacuzzi not in use.
