Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Auburn

Second cheapest hotel room in Auburn with fewer hidden fees made it a good choice. Received a complimentary upgrade because our room wasn't ready at check-in.

It was noisy. People upstairs must have moved furniture all night. The hardwood floors, although pretty, new and clean, do little to cover the noise. Adjoining room had a large gap under the door and they kept the tv and light on all night. No fault of the hotel, but something to keep in mind. We were there on Easter weekend. Imagine if it had been after the Iron Bowl or another high energy sporting event.

As usual the location is great right off the interstate. It was quiet and the room was clean.

Checking in. Had the same guy the last 2 times and he did not communicate well and he had no customer service skills. Made me feel as if I was bothering him. Made it unpleasant. I stay here whenever I come to town. The location, rooms and value are great!

The property manager and all of his front desk staff were exceptional and very helpful. This property is the best deal in Auburn. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Auburn.

The only complaint that I have is the nearby road noise. I recognize that this is nothing that management or Microtel can remedy. I will request a room in the rear of the property next time.

VERY CLEAN! Staff was lovely and friendly. Breakfast was fine. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, muffins and bagels and an excellent coffee machine. Bed was comfortable, linens fresh. Bathroom was sparkling clean. Iron, ironing board, fridge, tv, lots of storage for a small area, very reminiscent of European hotels. Not noisy at all. We did hear the upstairs guest walking around but that's it. Great location to downtown and restaurants.

Only negative was no blow dryer in bathroom. I didn't really need one but I did take note.

I’ve stayed at this location a few times and its always been my “go to”. This is based on the value for what you pay, the location and my familiarity with the facility.

There was a ROACH in the room and my daughter had a meltdown because she’s never experienced anything like that. Surprisingly disappointed.

It was good for a quick and easy breakfast. It had instant oatmeal, waffle making, different kinds of cereal, muffins, and other pastries. It also had coffee, milk, orange and apple juice.

More towels and washcloths for the number of people. ( Didn’t have a pool!!! Per granddaughter. )

great value! you cannot beat the price for a quick stay, it’s great. short drive to Auburn university!

it was so loud early in the morning!! cleaning staff tried to enter our room at about 8 am! I thought that was rude. Free breakfast is terrible, but I did like that they had coffee! That was all I needed!

Cleanliness of our room, hot water didn't run out, bed was comfy.

People next to us were up all night partying and being very loud, so wife didn't get any sleep. Pillows were kinda uncomfortable. Bed sheets were stained on one bed.

Very convenient location, next to I85. Clean and confortable. I've got the suit with the small kitchen, which I enjoyed. Perfect for a week work at Auburn

Not much variety at the breakfast buffet

Location was excellent and the room was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful.

Just a few, need to upgrade the continental breakfast with a few more items and a microwave for the rooms.
