Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Pelham - I-65

Upgrades going on, noisy but not a problem. Hotel staff was friendly, no problems during our stay. Excellent hot breakfast and plenty of clean, comfortable seating. Nice fireplace and TV in dining area. Hotel manager Cynthia was very friendly and made sure that we were comfortable.

Breakfast staff not friendly, closed the bar down before the posted time. Swimming pool needed cleaning but was not nasty, hotel manager addressed.

Love the staff and the breakfast. The room was spacious. In a pretty good area.

The room was spacious but as soon as we walked in it smelled like a pack of cigarettes. It didn't have anything on the booking about any smoking room. Didn't really enjoy having to endure that smell but we've been up for more than 16hrs so we were too tired to go through the hassle of getting another room. All and all if I can get a room that doesn't smell like smoke I'll go back.

We liked the staff especially Atay (he was accommodating, extremely friendly and helpful). I would come there again just to see him :) Our room was very spacious which helped with having our dog with us. The hotel was nicely located with easy access to shopping, Eateries, Oak Mt. State Park and Birmingham. Breakfast was awesome.

Had a few issues with the key card.

It was better than most in a lot of aspects. The breakfast was better at any hotel that I can remember. The kids loved the waffle topping choices. They got full. My daughter didn't eat anything almost the whole golf tournament. This almost never happen. I loved it. I will stay there if we have to come back for a golf tournament.

Not enough to mention.

Brooke was especially kind and helpful. She made my family and I feel very welcome after a long day of work and travel. I really appreciated her.

It looked like a little bit of mold was creeping in the showers—we (my family and I) think it’s because of the lack of any ventilation in the bathroom of room 105.

Friendly staff. Convenient location with several restaurants nearby. Variety of breakfast item to choose from including crispy bacon, eggs, oatmeal and waffles.😋

While there is a sign at the street, I didn't notice one on the property which is located behind a few other businesses.

Perfect location surrounded by plenty of places to eat and right off the interstate

Some inconsiderate people staying there allowing their children to run up and down the halls and very load in the hallway at 5:30 am. Not the hotels fault

Have stayed numerous times at Hampton Inn & Suites Birmingham-Pelham - I-65 and always enjoyed the breakfast. This time breakfast was a bit disappointing. Tho' it was 6:40 AM, the coffee cups were not in place. Coffee was only warm., Apples & oranges going stale. Eggs looked like they had been prepared the day or two before.

system glitch had us locked out of our room at 11:30pm after playing volleyball all day. and again the next day.

It was convenient to lots of restaurants and fast food as well as gas stations, and grocery stores. The motel itself was very quiet. We had a room right next to the elevator and it never bothered us. Everyone kept to themselves, Wore masks and practiced social distancing. We have to make another trip in a few weeks and have already decided this is where we will be staying.
