I came for a visit with some family members. Upon arrival, I was told congratulations, as my husband had called ahead and let the staff know it was our wedding Anniversary. He unfortunately was unable to join me, but they arranged a bottle of wine to be left with chocolates in my room, and upgraded my room to a suite for the week. The room and view was perfect, with the added view of Camelback mountain. The space was perfect for my family to come and visit. The pool was heated and the Jacuzzi was perfect. "Snooze" was recommended as a breakfast place, and I went back a second time! I was able to walk to get anything I needed. I would highly recommend and hope to return!

We were overly impressed with the cleanliness and upscale feel of Sonesta. It was by far the nicest and cleanest we have stayed at in the Phoenix area. EVER! The pool and courtyard area were wonderful. While we did travel for work, it was nice that Sonesta was near our daughter's home and also conveniently located to eating establishments and other entertainment businesses. We will definitely look for other Sonesta's for future stays!

We were bummed that the hot tub was roped off and unavailable for use during our stay. The other thing I missed was having nice fresh, free coffee in the lobby. The little coffee makers in the room just don't cut it. Just a personal opinion.

The location is great - Central Phoenix on the Camelback corridor! I didn't even know this place existed, and I have lived here 30 years. Very convenient for me. The staff was friendly and helpful (Dave and David at the front desk), though we had very little interaction. The covered parking is an excellent amenity. I also appreciated the security entrances.

Only two negatives come to mind. 1) The noisy A/C unit (typical of those wall-mounted types, so I really can't hold that against you). It did its job - kept the room comfortable. 2) Other guests nearby were quite noisy until 2 or 3 am on the night of my visit. Still, I'm sure that was just a matter of bad timing.

We really liked our stay at this hotel located walking distance from many restaurants and supermarkets. Very clean, comfortable beds, with a mini fridge and microwave. Manager and staff were all very helpful. Our room was facing the wonderful inner courtyard and pool. Excellent wi-fi speed. Free parking. Air conditioning worked very well and easily adjustable. We will be back.

Not all rooms have a microwave, so make sure to ask for one if you need it .

Good hotel with a friendly staff. Very clean.

Only stayed here because our connecting flight was delayed until the next morning. Most rooms were booked up for the night and had to stay here and pay an exorbitant rate for only a few hours sleep. Not the hotel's fault, but i wish we did not have to pay a full rack rate for just part of a night under those circumstances.

We had everything we needed for a 3 night stay! Our room was on the ground floor across from the pool which was amazing, the pool (and entire property) was clean and quiet, and the staff was super friendly. The bed was comfortable and the location was great (we had a car and driving to Camelback Mountain or Scottsdale was fast and simple). I highly recommend this spot.

A hairdryer in the room could have been nice, but not a big deal to me.

Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location was perfect in regard to my workplace.

Fourth floor AC in hall not working. AC in room could not keep up with outside Temps. July in Phoenix during a heatwave. Poor AC tried hard.

The air conditioning only worked in manual. We would run it until it was very cold and then turn it off. If we tried to turn the temp up on auto it would turn on heat and pump heat in the room. This why we ran it in manual.

the location and the staff was very gracious and hospitable. especially Terry and David.

The air conditioning didn’t circulate around the room very well assuming it’s because of the position of the desk blocking the unit in the carpet was filthy needs to be deep cleaned in the room

I really liked the friendliness of the staff and the proximity to stores and restaurants around me. It’s a really beautiful area and hotel. I (F, 27) felt safe walking around alone.
