Hampton Inn Forrest City

This was a halfway point for our family travel. It worked well for our trip. Rooms were very comfortable. The extra blanket in the room was a plus. A convience store was within walking distance which I always like.

I know things are expensive and you get what you pay for this was on the high side for the 4 of us. There may have been an event going on in the area. I stayed at a different hotel on the way home that was far cheaper and was definitely not as good.

I found my room very clean and the bedding was every bit as nice as the higher end Hilton’s. The staff was never seen but yet my bed was remade every day. The TV was huge, at least a 50”. The mini fridge kept our waters cold. The soaps were of higher end.

The coffee in the lobby wasn’t ready at 4am as told. Not only that, but on the second day it tasted old and I’ve developed a sore throat (like strep). I also didn’t care for all the Highway noise. We were put in a room nearer the interstate so it was a bit annoying, but nothing earplugs couldn’t fix.

The breakfast for great! It was served fresh, hot and tasty. Tammi keep the food well stocked.

The couch in the room could have been spot clean in a couple of areas. I alerted the staff and it was noted immediately.

The counter service was great and I can’t remember the lady’s name but she went above and beyond to assist me and family. We traveled from Richmond, Va and my brother traveled from Jacksonville, Fl. We was there 8/11 - 8/13. Thanks again

EXCEPTIONAL staff. Very accommodating on multiple levels. Nice parking areas. Location was quiet and close to everything in the area, but this area was very limited in what was available. The area felt safe. Breakfast offferings were excellent. Room and beds were comfy.

Breakfast was OK, pre made eggs and meat were just OK. Rest of the food that was presented met my expectations.

The price was a little high for that location… expected a lower price since it was not near a big city nor was there an attraction nearby that would warrant the higher price.

As to what I do like... the staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean , comfortable and well equipped. The breakfast is hot and tasty. That's all I'm looking for on a 1 night stay...but they also have a nice clean outdoor pool.

It's hard to say what I didn't like because there really isn't anything. Unless you want to talk price, but then every place is overpriced in my opinion. But Hampton Inn is no more overpriced than anyone else.

The hotel is very easy to find. The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The continental breakfast was also good. Check in and check out were simple. I would definitely stay here again if I am in the area!

its nice that they serve breakfast. I also liked the 'extras' int he bathrooms: shower caps, makeup wipes, and face soap!

Place is in good shape. Room was nice. Very dark that evening and pouring rain. Parking lit but not too bright. Lots were full even on a weeknight. Host in breakfast area was really good at her job…….breakfast was pretty good!

I thought it was kinda expensive for a weeknight in late September. Not exactly a prime vacation season……
