Holiday Inn Springdale-Fayetteville Area, an IHG Hotel

I rarely write or provide reviews but this is an exception. The guest service associate, Mac, was the most helpful, friendly, and the most accommodating of anyone I’ve ever meet through my travels. He contacted me prior to my arrival and couldn’t have been nicer or more pleasant to speak with. Upon our arrival, there was a minor drainage problem with the lavatory sink and he was eager to correct the problem, and did so without hesitation and the issue was resolved. If you’re planning to be in this area, I strongly suggest you consider staying there. Great location, plenty of easy access parking, clean and rooms are well stocked for a guest needs, with incredibly comfortable mattresses, pillows, and the perfect bedding. I can’t say enough great things or have more pleased with the guest services, and it was due to Mac and his attention to detail, professionalism and desire for all guests to be provided for and attentive. Here’s your place to stay and if you’re lucky, Mac will be at the desk to take great care of you! -Michelle Spencer

nothing except nightly rate a little on the high side

A children's sporting event was taking place near by and it was great to see all the families. Front desk notified me that noise curfew was for 10 PM. After that I never heard any of the "happy" sounds until the next morning about 9 AM. (I'm a Sr. citizen and I still love hearing the laughter that comes from being around children for awhile.

Took a little while for the TV to warm up and have a good steady picture. Carpet in the room had seen a better day.

Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly.

There was a water leak in the room we stayed at some point. The floor in the bathroom was wet and it had a mold smell. The exhaust fan did not work I. The bathroom. The lighting at the side entrance was poor and there were people hanging around that entrance that made us feel uncomfortable walking up in a dimly lit area. Breakfast was not complimentary, that was not made clear until we were asked about a check. If we knew we were going to pay for a breakfast, we would have went somewhere else, the breakfast was not worth the price.

Rooms were attractive quiet ,loved the Dove soap body wash and dispensers. Laundry room, breakfast area warm and inviting. Exercise room ok

People from pool area kept coming in getting towels. Wipe towel dispenser

Everything! We had 2 bad experiences that night with 2 different hotels lying about their pools being open. I called here to make sure they were open, I was pretty much crying because I was so overwhelmed. I think his name was Dylan. He was absolutely phenomenal. He took such good care of us! 10/10 would stay here again!!

The staff was super friendly and pleasant to work with. Complimentary coffee in the morning, location to the interstate, size of the room and the hours of the pool and hot tub worked great for my family.

The ice machine was broken on our floor but was not essential to our stay. We were also able to get ice on another floor.

there was an older gentleman who followed my kids around the hotel. they felt like he was creepy. a security guard walked by and must have seen him several times, but he didn’t seem to notice what he was doing. Also, there was old food left in our fridge.

Very nice and clean. Staff was present and helpful. Good breakfast buffet in a restaurant setting. Nice lounge area. Indoor pool for the kids. Also has fridge microwave and keurig coffee which was a big plus.

I called the hotel to ask if they had any available rooms. (Arkansas Razorback baseball and basketball games in Fayetteville left no rooms in Fayetteville). Instead of just answering my question of availability, she wanted my email & phone number. When I asked again on availability without giving email & phone- she got snippy and very curt. This wasn’t the same people working at the hotel check in. They were nice. I wish I had gotten the hotel operator’s name, but I didn’t.

Everything was great, except that management needes to have more control over the baseball teams that were staying at your hotel over the weekend. They were very loud into the morning hours like 2:00 in the morning. The parents were having a huge party drinking and eating and the kids were just running around the hotel. And then by 7:00 am the kids were at it again. That's the only complaint I have.
