I liked the light provided in the area where the refrigerator is located. It was great. We loved the SUNDECK, being near SHOPS & RESTAURANTS, FREE WIRELESS SERVICE and FREE BIKE RENTALS. The staff's service was impeccable. We would stay again. We loved the boats horns at 5pm.....charming

The location of the room was on the first floor. I would have liked a lager room near my budget point. I was a little concerned with the sliding glass doors and curtains. Although, the curtains were nice. I would have liked a REAL door with REAL locks. The bed was okay for the temperature. And this is important....The room was DARK. The lighting during the evening in the area of the bed was not sufficient for me. EXPENSIVE DRINKS AND FOOD. 2 drinks and 2 Fish Tacos......Exorbitant!!!!!

Location is fantastic, as the hotel faces the Avalon harbor. GREAT VIEW!! The overall property is clean, but a little old. The Naughty Fox takes up the front part of the property, and is an awesome place to have lunch, especially outside on the patio as the views can't be beat. The room was clean, and despite the limited size, the bathroom was really nice.

The room size was quite small, with little storage. If you are staying for more than a couple of days, storage space is an issue. The staff was friendly, but, we were told they would text us when our room was ready, but never got a text, and room was ready when we checked 2nd time.

The beds were pretty comfortable. The location was great. I was very nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. Free bike usage was a plus. We did take advantage of the on-site restaurant and the roof top seating area with great views.

We had an incident with a backed up shower drain that came with a small invasion of ants. This left us having to change rooms late in the evening two days into our five night stay. It was definitely a little disconcerting considering the "per night" cost of the room, but the man at the front desk was able to mitigate the situation. Interesting the rooms were only accessible by a sliding glass door facing inward to the other rooms on the floor.

The location was great however, I could not see anything from the room but the courtyard, and that was basic. The aesthetics were nice and the decor in the lobby/bar area was stylish, however, the rooms were not quite what I expected for the price I paid. However, I had to remember I paid for an oceanfront hotel and that is what I got.

The rooms were very plain and small, to say the least. There was not enough room for two people to do their makeup and hair. There was no seating. The only seating in my room was one bar stool and the bed. Please keep in mind when booking this place it will only be for sleeping, showering, and changing your clothes.

The place was nice and clean, and the staff was friendly. The Naughty Fox was a delicious restaurant and it was nice to grab a bite to eat. The service to send our luggage to the ferry docks was extremely helpful since check-out was well before our ferry ride home.

The bed pillows were a bit too flat for my taste. The shower door in my room (305) leaked quite a bit so there was always a puddle on the floor after each shower. The provided shampoo wasn't very nice, but that's pretty typical in hotels.

Loved the location. Staff was very kind and accommodating. We were able to leave our baggage with them after we checked out and they delivered it to the ferry which was super nice and convenient. Lots of places and activities well within walking distance. Complimentary bikes to rent for FREE was also a big plus (just be ready for the hills!)

The pillows were very thin and too soft. The sliding glass door was temperamental. Our first room would not open even after many attempts and after asking for help from someone on staff. Our new room still had a temperamental door, however and was difficult to open at times.

The staff was friendly, the location of the hotel and the room itself, although small, was comfortable and functional.

I hope the endless disinfection of the rooms will finally come to an end soon. it does more harm than good. I couldn't wait until morning to leave the room as it smelled horribly of chlorine or something similar all night. The windows in the room don't open and briefly ventilating through the open front door doesn't help much. my nose and throat were in shock

The management and staff were wonderful and truly accommodating for our anniversary weekend. If you're lucky enough to reserve while Betsy, Angel and Erik are working, you're in for a well coordinated treat. They worked seamlessly to arrange for macaroons, champagne and house-made chocolate covered strawberries! We loved the free bike rentals to explore and commute around the island. Our stay at the Bellanca was wonderful!

Neighbors were a bit noisy and could be heard through the walls.

Location was great! Right in the middle of everything in Avalon.

There was no "constant fan" setting on the PTAC unit as there are in most hotels. It was annoying that the fan kept turning on and off all night long. Additionally, some of the rooms have LED hallway ceiling lights right outside of the rooms that do not turn off. The room curtains have openings on the sides and bottoms that let this light in. I could literally read in bed if I wanted to. Either have these lights on some kind of motion sensor, or install velcro or a valance on the curtains so the room can be darkened.

The location of the property was great! in close proximity to literally everything and as a solo female traveler I felt very safe. there’s a cute bar/restaurant downstairs and the food served was delicious. The staff were friendly and there were great views every sunrise and sunset when leaving or returning.

A couple of things stood out - the rooms don’t have an actual door (more like a sliding window door you go through), which is fine but for what I paid per night to be honest the room was positioned against a wall; and there was ongoing construction at the time. I wish they would have told me prior or during booking because I was surprised to arrive and hear all the noise throughout the stay and be told on arrival. There wasn’t any compensation given for this “inconvenience”, and from a perspective of a first time visitor, feel like they should have said something. otherwise all good.
