About as good a location as possible. Only about a 5-minute walk from the dock, and a block away from Crescent Street, so an easy walk to almost everything but less noisy than if it were in the middle of it all. Had a fridge and freezer, and the rooms were nicely l decorated with sea themes. The tub had a whirlpool setting (which we didn’t use). Most of all, the owners/ staff were very helpful and friendly.

It was hard to get the key to work in the door to our room, and one time we had to call the owner to help us. The bathtub, sink, and toilet were in 3 adjoining rooms, which was okay, but none of them had doors; we would prefer to have the privacy that doors provide. Also, the tile floor in these rooms was very gritty, with loose dirt between the tiles. The flooring probably needs to be replaced.

This place is located right in the heart of town and the value for the money is wonderful. Everything in Catalina is so expensive so I went with this hoping for the best and it exceeded my expectations! I would definitely stay here again! The room was big and the bathroom was great.

The walls are very thin - so much so that you will hear every golf cart driving by until you eventually fall asleep. They provide you with ear plugs, so I understand that's the best they can do and I appreciate that they were provided. Another thing to note is they office closes at 4 PM, so if you are leaving with an even later boat, you have to figure out how to store your bags after that.

First of all, the staff here are amazing and very communicative (shoutout to Amber)! I had to reschedule my stay due to the massive storm last month, because the ferry could not sail. Both Seacrest and Booking worked with me and were understanding. Staff were quick in their responses and confirmed I could drop a bag at the office earlier in the day prior to checkout, and could also pickup my bag later in the day after checkout. The office closes at 4PM. I was out and about hiking beyond cell service, but Amber texted me when my room was ready, and the message made it through. I appreciate the thoughtful communication. The hotel has a peaceful rooftop deck with nice views. The room itself was comfortable and had everything needed. I was able to pack in many miles of hiking both days, and the one night I stayed at Seacrest was well spent. I fell asleep quickly. It’s in a very convenient location, just a short walk from the docks, and also within short walking distance of stores and restaurants. It has a bit of a New England charm to it. I would stay again.

It is on one of the main streets in town, so some street noise down below, but ear plugs are provided in the room. Similarly, the rooms are in close proximity and there is some hallway and rooftop foot traffic, but again, there are ear plugs if needed.

hot tub was amazing. had a little comfortable skirt long area and a private toilet room next. the tv is a little old but it does have a lot good cable options and a list with channels is provided. bed is clean and comfortable. mini shelves and sides of bed to put stuff. had a fridge microwave and small coffee station. everything is no more than a 5 min walk. vins is about 3 minutes. the staff is extremely friendly u can leave ur stuff in the office before you check in and after our while u do activities and wait for the ferry. nice rooftop area. unique layout

it was raining during our stay and the water hitting the air conditioner at night made a lot of noise but if your a deep sleeper you’ll get past it. a little dated but very enjoyable.

The hotel is right next to the ocean. It is also 5 mins walking distance from ferry station. The place was clean and tidy. It has a vintage vibe with enough amenities for a hotel. The hotel also has a hangout place in the roof which has a very beautiful view of the island. The best part of the hotel experience was the host. We had a seamless checkin and were offered extended checkout which helped me to leave my luggage and use the room. Would highly recommend this place for its amenities and price point.

This is our second stay here and the location is perfect.. The window view from the room is great. The blanket was big and comfortable and it smelled fresh and clean. The rooftop views are spectacular. Also, the mini fridge worked great!

The noise levels are not bad, however on checkout day the noise is extremely loud. The room we stayed in both times is a shotgun room so the incoming and outgoing traffic can be heard. It also sounded like someone was slamming the chairs on the rooftop. The bathroom smells old and the furniture in the room is vintage but can use some upgrades. Other than that, we have no other complaints!

Our college son and his new bride spent their honeymoon there last week. The room was VERY small and older... but everything on Catalina is, and they knew that would be the case... and they loved how "cute" the tiny-ness made it. They thought it was awesome... and it had everything they needed for their perfect budget honeymoon! It even had a jacuzzi tub in the room... and a cool shared rooftop deck with a view and bbq and larger shared fridge. And the staff was very nice and great communicators. So they really did love everything about it. (Of course, they were so in love and giddy that they might have liked anything. Lol.) And the price was hands down cheaper than anywhere else with a tub. And the exterior was charming, too... and it was one of the closest walks from the ferry, so that was a plus for them. They truly were very pleased with their experience there.... and have plans to go back every year to celebrate their anniversary!

Amber is the best! I have never been treated so well in a hotel. Thank you very much for her kindness and for her good service. I plan to return to this hotel very soon. excellent service, comfortable, clean place with excellent service, cozy place, close to everything. if you are planning to go to the island you definitely need to stay in this place. Amber if you read this thank you very much! you made our experience a pleasure.

This house is such a cool place with so much character! we really enjoyed it! the location was great and we could easily walk to everything.

The bedrooms were cold at night even with the air conditioning turned off. I was shown where the small heaters were upon check in, but I didn’t want to mess with them in the middle of the night. A few more blankets would have been great, but we were fine. We felt like the air conditioning never really “turned off” even in the “off” setting, but this is a minor complaint in the whole grand scheme of things and we really had a lovely time!

The location is fantastic - steps from the beach and main drag. The manager of the hotel is very nice, personable and helpful. The Lighthouse room in which we stayed was lined with windows and we slept with them open which was awesome. We felt very safe. The hotel is older but was kept as clean as possible. Some upgrades would be nice, but then it would be too expensive for your average person, so.... :) I highly recommend this hotel!
