The room was large, comfortable, and well appointed with extras including wine glasses, opener, robes, & coffee. Parking was plentiful and easy near our room. The included continental breakfast at the restaurant across the street was generous and the staff were attentive.

I would be nice if they provided filtered water or a water cooler to fill bottles; the tap water taste metallic.

The value of this property is its location. The grounds are well landscaped and the view of the bay is exceptional. The breakfast included is well prepared and varied. Duraflame logs are provided for rooms with fireplaces. Staff is attentive and friendly, even with Covid restrictions. Room was very clean. We booked an upper story, King room with high ceilings. Some lower story rooms had outside patios.

Though the rooms have been updated through the years, Inn at the Tides is in desperate need of updating. HVAC (actually there's no air-con) is antiquated. Furniture was in need of replacing. TV's are ancient with only one HDMI port. Walls are absent of any art. Our biggest complaint, and what will keep us from booking again, is the horrid WiFi. 5 mbps download, .25 upload. We could barely get email much less stream anything. A 21st century hotel must provide better internet access even if they charge for it.

ROom and patio were very nice, great view. Near pool.

Noise from families above and next to us were very disturbing and disrupting - shocked how inconsiderate folks are and how loud the noise from room above was, thus sleep was disturbed. A BAD dead mouse? smell started at night and was very bad so that was a second issue for us.

The view from every room has its own quaint charm. Breakfast was provided via a voucher for the restaurant across the street. Nothing to write home about but not terrible. Would've preferred the breakfast buffet I had experienced at Hale Koa in Waikiki, but you can't have it all. What you can have, is a wonderful upscale fishing town vibe, with a hot tub to melt into and raw oysters that will utterly change the way you experience reality. Have I not made it clear? This is the best place to stay for the money and the experience in this town. Don't forget your wine tasting at Sonoma Coast Vineyards, and if you don't go to Fishetarian for multiple meals, I won't think you actually enjoyed your stay in the the hidden gem that is north of Point Reyes, Bodega Bay.

You can't have it all.

Great room, looked like it was upgraded from years past. Very clean. Great views, beautiful landscaping and wonderful flowers blooming this time of year. People at the Tides restaurant were exceptionally nice. Everyone was accommodating. Breakfast was OK. I don't eat granola and try to eat low carb so rolls were yummy, but all carbs pretty much except fruit. We ordered extras to fill in, bacon and chicken sausages and an omelet one day.

See breakfast above. Maybe a few different options for breakfast since they have the full menu available anyway. Maybe a bagel w/cream cheese and smoked salmon or one poached egg w/hollandaise or a waffle with fruit w/one chicken sausage. Most of us retirees don't eat as much as we used to but would still like something special even if it half of a regular order. Also there is no senior menu which a lot of restaurants have now for a smaller portions. Would rather have a little taste of something yummy than a large plate of carbs that I really don't want to eat.

The location cannot be beat, the buildings are beautifully designed, and the grounds are exquisitely landscaped with native plantings. Nearly every room has a direct view of the bay. And the staff are friendly and clearly trying hard. Breakfast is provided, and while it's not the palatial buffet it has been in the past due to Covid, it's good and solid.

This mid-price hotel really needs to invest in better mattresses and mini-fridges for the rooms. The beds were hard and lumpy. And given the limited-but-good of dining options in the region, a way to store picnic supplies would be a big upgrade.

A complementary continental breakfast is included, but we opted for a hot breakfast with 25% off. The last day our son had the continental breakfast to go because he was on a work Zoom call. The food other than breakfast is just OK and a little overpriced. There are many excellent options for local casual dining and one fine dining experience, Terrapin Creek, that is expensive but totally worth it. We love the bay, and the views from the bar and restaurant can't be beat. If you want to go somewhere off the beaten track, this is a good place to go. The landscaping is like a botanical garden and you are just across the street from the inn's restaurant and wharf. The staff was courteous and competent. The bay view amazing and we weren't in the front row of cottages. Complementary robes and a bottle of white wine, towels for the pool and spa included.

The service in the restaurant and bar were great, but the food was stodgy except for breakfast and overpriced. Still since bodega bay is fairly remote it was convenient for the night we arrive. You can get room service but we chose to walk and see the bay.

We had a spacious room with great sea views. The fireplace really helped at night, the room was not cold at all, but it made the experience great. There was plenty of space for parking. Really enjoyed the hot tub and fitness room (pretty basic, but enough)

The service at the restaurant was bad. I'm not sure if it's the same company that manages the Inn, but it was the only lowlight of our visit: the food was average and the service was bad in multiple occasions (3 breakfasts and 1 dinner). There were many waiters but they were very slow, forgetful and unprofessional. Some of them were using their phones constantly, or having lunch and making a lot of noise bothering customers, being very unprofessional, all while customers were waiting or trying to find them to order or get the check.

The location was awesome. Driving up the coast to explore was a breeze. We enjoyed the large hot tub. Our room had a nice view of the ocean as well as coastal plants/flowers and beautifully landscaped grounds. Daily housekeeping is still a thing at The Inn, a rarity these days. We appreciated this service!

The continental breakfast lacked variety each day. Ice maker outside our room was noisy. Surrounding restaurants and shops were mostly closed during the week, which was disappointing.

Hotel and grounds are very well groomed and lovely. Check in was easy, staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Room was very nice and clean, the hotel is updating the rooms, so the updates are beautiful and comfortable, it was a much needed renovation but worth it! Fireplace update to gas instead of logs is nice, the new fireplaces are warmer and cleaner without the smoke.

The cost per night is a bit pricey, room service is very expensive. $69.00 for room service breakfast is a bit much, but if you eat at the Tides restaurant, you get a discount for being a hotel guest.
