Portofino Inn Burbank

Excellent place to meet our needs for an overnight transfer in Burbank. Desk held our reservation for later arrival (2330), no problem. Kind front desk staff. Clean and quiet accommodation with ample parking in courtyard arrangement, so felt secure.

TV did not work--flat screen HDMI incompatible with Spectrum high def coding; we did not need it, just needed sleep, so did not complain. Our room (104; I think it's a rare case) had window facing sidewalk externally; not at all a problem for us, but people spending more time in room might be reluctant to keep blackout curtain closed when lights inside would make you a zoo exhibit.

The motel was an older building so showed some signs of wear and tear - but apparently, they are undergoing renovations. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but adequate.

I would have liked more electrical outlets available. The ironing board was a bit difficult to use and I would have preferred a full-sized ironing board that stood alone, not a half-sized one that had to be placed on a flat surface. A coffee maker in the room would have been nice.

The hotel is well located, and the room was very clean. Very well kept grounds. There was a staff member that went above and beyond during our stay to help us fix our thermostat. I liked the free cookies during the day as well as the hot tub.

Pretty basic furnishings in light of the price paid. The bed was not the most comfortable, but it was ok. There is no central air. The climate control is provided by a wall unit with a tricky thermostat. You have to push the small button on the unit if it quits responding. The towels are a little spartan.

I wasn’t expecting much because the rate was so low, but I just needed a little space from family for a night. Very pleasantly surprised by how nicely decorated the room was and how comfortable the bed was. I especially liked the chaise lounge which was a nice change from the usual hotel room chair. And the bathroom was sparkling clean! The guys in reception were very nice and helpful, and there was also a nice little continental breakfast available in the morning. All in all a great value for the money!

We stayed here for 12 days and everything is fine. It’s very near with our favorite palaces since it’s in Burbank. Location is good, staff are friendly especially the Latina housekeeper she always greet us in the morning and always changing s our towels. Serve simple breakfast but it’s ok .You can get juice , coffee or tea anytime of the day. You can also leave your luggages with them since we drove to Sanfo for few days. Parking is not a problem. Overall its really a good stay with them. And looking forward to stay with Portofino.

For the price we paid we expected the typical motel. Wow were we surprised. At check in the receptionist was so friendly and helpful.. All staff were friendly and helpful recommending restaurants and providing helpful local information. The king room was very spacious. The bed was so comfy so we had the best nights sleep.Breakfast was great and the free parking for such a great location was a super bonus.

Minor updating needed to bedrooms, but that did not take away from our great 2 night stay.

Location within Burbank and near to Downtown Burbank is excellent; in a quiet, older, but clean area of Burbank as well. Easy access from parking lot to nearly any room. Only 2-5 minutes (depending on traffic) from I-5 as well as the Ventura Freeway. Early morning on late at night, it’s only about 20 minutes from DTLA on mostly freeway driving. Rooms clean: housekeeping seems to care. Free parking. Shower and sink functional and water pressure (as well as sink water diffuser and shower head) good. Has all the basics. Desk is ample and nice for getting a little work done. Refrigerator worked great. Two free, standard-sized bottles of water complimentary.

Front desk staff is a bit rough around the edges. Rooms old and in need of, at the very least, new carpeting. Pillows not conducive to sleep (this being my second stay, I brought my own).

We had an amazing stay here. Clean and nice rooms (even though it looks like a classic old motel from outside), really good breakfast and free juices all day long, good room service, lods of (free) parking spots, etc. Really good budget option in burbank

As a solo female I felt safe and comfortable with my stay. I didn’t see any sketchy people around the property. The front desk lady was very sweet and friendly.

I could hear when someone walked past my room or whatever my neighbor would come or go but that’s to be expected in an place.

it was very comfortable very quiet and Qwaint. My only complaint was at the property that you see online wasn’t as you but it was pretty good pretty close.

The fact that the amenities weren’t as abundant, but it did come with free breakfast free drinks, free coffee during the day until like 8 PM which is pretty good. And then anything available late night you just got a call and make sure somebody is there.
