The location is convenient to get to Legoland, walk to a public beach access point, and close to many restaurants and shopping. The rooms are large and have a refrigerator and microwave. The breakfast is a standard continental breakfast with reasonable options.

The bathroom door does not lock and is not soundproof. The room key is required to get out of the parking garage, even after checkout. This seems like a safety hazard. While breakfast starts pretty early, it also ends pretty early.

The breakfast was great, I just can’t say enough good things about this hotel and the staff here!! It was excellent I traveled there for a wedding so there were quite a few of us staying at the hotel. It was one of the best trips ever. Thanks so much to all the staff.

Nothing other than maybe a seat to use outside while smoking, there was a ashtray so a seat would have been nice.

Had a great time staying at this property. Great location with it being just steps from the beach and plenty of shops and dining options in Carlsbad Village. Rooms were clean and spacious.

Pillows are pretty flat. The bathroom door is just glazed glass so you blast anyone trying to sleep with bright lights when you turn the bathroom light on at night

In a state where you can’t get anywhere without a car, you can easily stay here and see many places on foot. The beach is literally across the street, and there are a ton of great restaurants and cafes just steps away from this hotel. Be sure to pop up to the rooftop lounge at sunset. Breathtaking!

They have a policy to only clean rooms every four nights. Not sure if you can ask to have it done sooner. We stayed for five nights, and although they were very generous with providing extra towels/toiletries, and emptying the trash, our room was never cleaned during our stay.

Sarah and Tyler were wonderful. They made our stay that much more memorable. A genuine family feeling ... just like home . Breakfast was delicious and helped to get are day started .

I wish parking was included in the room fare.

This property is perfect! The hotel it’s self is very nice- but the location is EVERYTHING! We were steps away from the beach and a ton of fantastic restaurants and shops.

Location, Location, Location. Beach right there and easy walk to lots of very good restaurant choices. Rooftop area a big plus. Spent time there every day. I gave it an 8 - VERY GOOD - that is not a slam that it was not a 10. Focus on the VERY GOOD. I will be back.

There was nothing that I felt I did not like.

All the staff were wonderful. Front desk: Carl was especially gracious and patient with us. Christine was amazing as well. All the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and we appreciated the many choices. Again, the staff were friendly and welcoming in serving breakfast. The location is fantastic.

We were disappointed that we did not have a better view but understand that Bonvoy members and such have priority. We were going to check out early and just go home but decided to stay and were very happy we did. We had a great time.

Location was great. Room was nice and clean. Hot tub and pool area was nice but small. Gym was nice.
