We were very impressed with the facility and amenities especially the restored antiqued building coupled with the modernized bathroom and kitchen. We were upgraded from the King Deluxe room to the apartment which was an added bonus. The apartment was very spacious and clean with lots of attention paid to details (supplies etc). We were pleased with the outdoor patio and the bbq grill. The property was well maintained and surrounded by lots of flowers that were blooming at this time of year (June). The location is a walking distance to downtown and short distances to lots of outdoor activities (Yuba River, hiking etc). The popular restaurant Diego is across the street as well as gourmet cheese shop! Lastly, property manager Conor as well as the owner Alicia were super nice and accommodating. We will be coming back to Golden Dreams the next time we visit the area. Thank you!

the location is perfect for a nice walk to downtown Grass Valley and a quick and easy drive to Nevada City pleasant front yard to relax in. Most interesting back yard. the room I had is a perfect blend of Victorian Charm and contemporary - functional kitchenet (with hammered-copper small sink, plates and silverware provided) - full size fridge, microwave, k-cup coffee maker - updated bathroom the bed was really comfortable, bamboo bedding, great pillows, all cotton towels, very helpful and informative on-site manager

Very clean. Seemed to be recently upgraded or refreshed paint , fixtures and bathroom. Bonus is the mini kitchen with full size fridge, beautiful copper sink, microwave, coffee/tea maker, and the glassware cutlery etc to have light meal there. I did not use TV or interenet when there hence did not rate. The "smart door locks" work well, follow the clear and simple instructions completely. As such I did not have face to face interactiln with staff so hard to rate. The text info was pleasantly and efficiently presented, it worked well. Plenty onsite and street parking. Great location.

My only suggestion is that the "redo" should have included an oiling or other similar treatment to make the wonderful woodwork of the doors and trim etc to "pop" alongside the fresh paint etc. A very picky comment.

Beautiful quiet Victorian home surrounded by garden and grass with quaint fence decorated with gold rush era homage. Room was spacious, with thoughtful amenities and a well-appointed bathroom featuring a claw-foot tub/ shower combo.

One chair at the 2 chair/table combo needed tightening of screws - it tipped precariously when I sat in it! Would be nicer to have a couple upholstered chairs to curl up and read in, than hard wood and metal chairs at the table. But honestly, that is a small complaint compare with how much we LOVED every thing else!

Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was super comfortable!!! Kitchen area was so nice to have and cutely decorated. I never stayed in a “ Bed and Breakfast “ place. There was no breakfast but having a room inside a house at first I thought there would be no privacy, but I only heard someone if they were talking in the hallway. The bathroom was private, clean and cute. It was quiet location but walking distance from Safeway and downtown GV.

The only thing was I couldn’t get the shower to turn on overhead. I had to hand hold shower head. That could have just been me.

The location was excellent. . .it was very warm and they need a few more AC units but it was not bad. . .did have to keep curtains drawn etc. the grounds very spacious. . . rooms huge (we were in the apartment). Nicely set up in kitchen.

The check in pad a little stressful. It did have some features that needed fixing (screen door to kitchen and front screen door). Needed some attention deep cleaning around windows etc.

This is an absolutely beautiful Inn. The rustic antique decor is candy for the eye everywhere on the property. Exploring the house was fun. Stairs that go nowhere. Antiques and tasteful artwork adorned every nook and cranny inside and outside. I wandered around the property every morning and would always find something different. An absolute delight. I highly recommend.

We were not aware there was breakfast. It must have been written somewhere but we would have appreciated being reminded of it with the check in note we received. That aside, the room was clean, well lit and inviting, the mattress was comfortable, and the location was idea--quiet but within a 7-10 minute walk of the central area of Grass Valley. We'd gladly stay here again.

The lovely property Elon Biggs BnB has been renovated. The rooms have kitchenette with full size refrigerator & microwave & coffeemaker. Nice shower. Good hot water. Very clean. Convenient electronic check in. Location a short walk to the center of town. Lots of parking. Lovely grounds. Very nice & friendly people running it.

It was a beautiful old house converted to a hotel. So unlike a conventional hotel. Rooms were large with many windows. Large retro refrigerator with ceramic dishes and cups. Complimentary bottled water and snacks. Claw foot tub. It was unique. Very clean. We were so impressed! Comfortable king bed. Would recommend to everyone!
