We loved the location ... everything was in walking distance and enjoyed watching the beach come alive with surfing and volleyball competition and even enjoyed a VW show :) It was a great place for us to celebrate our 40th anniversary :)

The service at Pete's was a bit off. Not sure if the staff was low but both times, we visited the restaurant we asked for addition items for our meal, such as salsa for the fish tacos, and we never seen the waiter again until we received the bill. The iced tea brought out was so dark you couldn't even drink it! I tried to water it down to no avail it was too thick!! They said a new batch was being made... but we did not receive a fresh iced and finished with water that was originally brought.

All in all, a nice resort. Big. Felt like going from one end of a Vegas resort to the other, minus the smoke and slot machines. There’s food options and a couple little stores. If you don’t want to leave the resort, there’s no need.

Since you’re asking, I have a couple gripes. 1) I know parking fees are standard. But, when the room rates are what they are, parking shouldn’t be an additional 50 a day. 2) The main pool just isn’t relaxing when you have screaming kids and splashing, space invaders. Parents, take them to the kids pool. That’s what it’s there for. Before I get karen’ed, I’ll look for an adults only if I stay in Huntington again.

Great amenities for families at this resort. We did not bring our dog, but dogs are allowed. Good location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. They have two main pool areas. One area is geared for kids because there are 3 water slides. (A small size, and 2 larger sizes.) There is also a “tiny” 1 1/2 foot pool for toddlers. There is full pool service at both pools, which includes towels, suntan lotion, drinks (alcohol and non-alcohol) and a food menu. The larger pool (no water slides) is more calm. We ordered pizza one night from the resort pizza restaurant, while roasting marshmallows for s’mores, by the fire pit. The hotel provided chairs, blankets, and all the s’more supplies. We had breakfast twice, from the main hotel restaurant and the food was very good. There is also a grocery store on site, that sells food and beverages, which was helpful. The room was clean and spacious and the beds were comfortable.

It is expensive! But… you get what you pay for. Good quality all around.

I loved the accessibility to shops/restaurants, spa, pool, and beach. Room was neat and tidy, clean, and had a great view of the ocean and pool. The fountains and water features were super pretty to look at, especially when we dined outdoors on site. All of the staff were super friendly and seemed to really enjoy working here, the vibe was super relaxing and upbeat.

Pillows went flat quickly, did have 1 night waking up feeling super sore from sleeping. Noticed some minor rust around one the mirrors in bathroom which should likely get swapped out. No other concerns/complaints otherwise.

We stayed in an Ocean View Suite and the view was spectacular. I was impressed with how clean and how quiet the room was. We watched the Super Bowl on the 65“ TV in the room. The heater was also quiet and the bed was comfortable. The weather was cool so we did not go to the pool, but plan to on our next trip back. The location is excellent and right up a couple of miles is Main Street and you can also walk on the pier. We ate at the Watertable restaurant at the resort with nice ambience and good food. In other words, the weekend was relaxing and comfortable. We look forward to going back.

Our stay was quite enjoyable so no negatives during our trip.

The property was beautiful and spacious. We loved our room. It was a good size, clean and had a great view. The staff was very friendly and nice. Pools were very nice. Close to the beach with a nice bridge to cross over. Good food choices also.

There was construction going on nest the main big pool. The loud sawing noise from the workers cutting bricks for the new patios they were installing was awful. And the other pool was closed for “maintenance” which was a big disappointment.

The moment we pulled up we were greeted warmly by valet who assisted us with our things and the bell hop had our luggage to our room minutes after we got in our room. Beautiful grounds and pools! Our room was spacious, clean and great view of the beach. The breakfast at The Watertable was absolutely delicious! Each day we ordered something different and loved every meal! We will definitely return to Hyatt -Huntington Beach. We had an amazing stay and our kids loved the movie and cosmic slide night at the pool! Can’t say enough about how much we loved our stay. There was not a need to go anywhere else for a day trip because we were so centrally located. Highly recommend!

We loved everything!

- Amazing for family and kids. - So many facilities and activities to enjoy a family vacation. - We enjoyed the fireplaces and the S’mores. - Friendly staff and nice service. - Easy to access the pools and the beach - Large rooms with balcony and amazing ocean view. - The pizza place was great and there’s a supermarket market a clothing shop and other restaurants.

- The location is far from everything if you’re planning to go around and visit places in LA. - It was so expensive and everything is over priced!

The bed was absolutely heavenly! Gorgeous views of the ocean, and a decent sized balcony, LOVED that there was an actual dresser in the room! The room was large and we were both able to work easily. Free beach chairs and umbrellas were a lifesaver as was the walkway to the beach over the PCH. Beautifully designed walkways with statues, fountains, and fireplaces throughout the property.

Rainforest shower didn't have enough pressure to wash out the shampoo/conditioner. Wish there had been a microwave to reheat our delicious restaurant leftovers.

I absolutely love this hotel. The location is spectacular. The service is devine. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The food on the premises is delicious. The pools are amazing. The beach is so close, and the views are a dream.

There is nothing I don't like about this hotel. I can not say a bad thing. The only thing I would like to change is the parking prices. Free parking would make this hotel perfect.
