We weren't able to get in the hotel on the first night due to some confusion and not being able to reach the staff. For the miscommunication, they more than partially refunded us for missing out on one of the two nights, which we were very grateful for.

We called and left a voicemail with questions about entry and we never got a call back, which ended in us missing our stay for the first night and having to return home. However, they did refund us. The only critique I have would be never receiving a call back with an answer to my questions.

The location was perfect - a 10-minute walk to the convention centre for the conference I was attending and within 10 minutes of some great restaurants that weren't on Ocean Boulevard. And it also had a small kitchenette and was within walking distance (8-10 minutes) of a supermarket.

It took me a little while to figure out how to leave through the front door (there's no signage on how to open the door). But it was a minor issue and didn't impact my stay beyond the first night. There were some noise issues from the adjacent rooms as well, but I wouldn't expect a historic building to have the best soundproofing.

I loved the old style wood and big doors. The room itself was modern and sized about right for us. Very clean! Very much liked no contact check-in, but lack of staff presented an issue. We didn't have anyone to call when it got noisy and we couldn't get a hold of anyone until late Monday regarding a missing item that was since gone (we left on Saturday).

Through no fault of their own, other guests were outrageously loud... not just a little, A LOT, and it occurred between 3a and 6a. I loved the old wood stairs, but they made the noise even worse. With no staff on premises, there was nothing we could do.

I love the home feels, the silence, the common area is nice and beautiful.

I do wish that there was a cleaning check list and upgrades. the room was nice but just like a home baseboards need to be cleaned or repainted, the bed has spaces you can see with so much dirt and skin cell build up I placed towels to not see it and used my own personal bedding. the tub needs to be glazed, the shower curtains were terribly molded. Again this is nice place but for those who have eyes and a wallet will know some things you cant over look. Great location and room just needs a few personal touches to detail. So yes Book and enjoy

The location was perfect. Rooms were cute, clean and well equipped. Air conditioning worked great. Building is historic and has a lot of character. You can walk to many restaurants, the boardwalk area, aquarium and shops. Felt safe while out and about.

Wished you knew about the $300 hold on your card and that there wasn't a front desk before you book. They send you all the info after you book and cannot get a refund. Had to have codes, parking card and specific parking space or you got towed. We came back to hotel after dinner and another car was in our space. A lady that lived there reassured us a space she had us park in would be ok. Still not sure who she was but our car was there in the am ....it all worked out fine but kind of a hassle.

The location of this hotel is great. We parked our car and never used it once. We walked to the beach and the pier both days and it was a nice stroll even with three small kids. Starbucks was a quick walk and has many other options nearby. The hotel exceeded our expectations and was very spacious. Will definitely recommend and stay here again in the future.

I loved the historical building, vibe and what it has become. The location was perfect and easily accessible to many things nearby. It was perfect for a family setting. Very spacious and HUGE benefit having 3 bathrooms! I will definitely stay at Broadlind Hotel again.

I gave it 3 stars for the section comfortability. Hands down it was spacious and perfect. But I gave it a 3 because the beds weren’t all that comfortable.

The atmosphere at this restored, historical hotel was wonderful. The rooms were perfect. the historic charm of the building and the era of origin were precious and crucial to our enjoyment of the stay.

A street person had managed to penetrate the building and was sleeping in the hallways, at night.

Location could not be beat! We arrived at 5am so the self check in was ideal. The bed was also very comfortable. The kitchen with large fridge was very convenient. Wifi was also strong and consistent in the room.

We couldn't find the info regarding breakfast as we thought was described in the listing. The temperature of the shower was hard to control, but hot water was no issue. Could have used a thicker/larger comforter.

The property is conveniently located to the aquarium and it was close to the start line for the Long Beach marathon that I was competing in. The room was nicely decorated and spacious.

There is no elevator. Not that this is a problem, it was more of an oversight when I booked.
