Loved the location. I selected the motel based on its proximity to Dodgers Stadium and price. It was a great choice! Front office staff was very kind. The neighborhood felt very safe. We enjoyed a quick visit to China Town…right down the street. We ate at Foo Chow (where Rush Hour was filmed) and meandered a bit. The motel room was very basic…but very clean. This is always my priority. We slept comfortably. We could hear the children in the room adjoining, but it was to be expected…it’s an older building. Hotels/motels close to the stadium can be very expensive $300-400 per night. We have stayed in overpriced ones before, but this was a much better choice.

Parking was free, which is almost unheard of in this part of the city (so a plus) but the spaces were small. Very difficult to get in and out of. I recommend parking then taking an Uber to the game. An Uber one way is about $9…parking at the stadium was about $25.

the workers were very helpful! asked them for a couple of things and they helped answer every one of those needs. the hotel looks good and feels decently clean.

the room we were in had a lot of noise coming through since early morning around 7am. we heard the bus/traffic right by our window, lots of squeaking from people upstairs, we could hear the conversations next door, people going through the hallway, and even the chats with the receptionist. bathroom is very tiny. didn't like only having 1 pillow.

Room was emaculant staff was curious and professional maids are superb and area is awesome very safe and attractive to walk around in even during night time check in was fantastic and very helpful to all our questions and needs if we needed anything they either had it or recommend who to go to for our needs would definitely be returning if needed to and will give a zillion thumbs up from the driveway to checkout we couldn't be more comfortable and happy with this hotel and the service that they provided

Only down side is the toilet pressure is on the weaker side but they supply plungers upon request and anything else that might be needed

Location was fun and accessible to DTLA. Super quiet and easy to navigate. Pagoda is a motel where guests were courteous, quiet and kept to themselves. Our room was spacious, very clean and the beds were comfy. I would definitely stay her again.

We found everything to our liking and the cleaning staff were very accommodating providing the clean linens that we requested everyday. The convenience of having on-th-premise parking was a very nice touch.

Great staff helped us as soon as we showed up. Got two rooms didn't request it but they put us right by each other much appreciated it. . Room got very cold great TV channels mini fridge microwave in lobby better then nothing. Room had coffee and bottle water. For the price and location in China town can't beat it especially for a dodgers game!

Only complaint was the bathroom had hair on sink looked like someone shaved and they cleaned it up but not enough.

Love the location, so many amazing little shops, bakeries, and restaurants within walking distance. Very clean area, not a piece of trash or even a cigarette butt to be found. Comfy beds, staff is nice, I went to a concert nearby, will definitely stay here again for the bakeries and shops alone.

Parking can be tough, free parking on site, but you have to really pack them in since more rooms than spots. But plenty of street parking.

Perfect location accessible to tons of things in downtown LA. Fun Chinese food restaurants nearby. If you've seen the movie Rush Hour you'll enjoy staying here because some scenes from the movie were filmed nearby. :) I also really appreciate there being free parking!

It would be great if there could be some breakfast options available. I don't have anything to complain about. I really enjoyed this stay.

Check-in process was smooth and easy. Jonathan at the front desk was very courteous and friendly. Room was recently remodeled and quirky in a good way. Plenty of closet space for luggage storage. Plenty of hot water for showers. Parking lot well lit.

No curtains, only window shades. Light gets into the room very easily at night because the parking lot is well lit. Swamp cooler is noisy (didn't bother me but it can bother some). Swamp cooler had a weird, slightly fishy odor to it when first turned on, but dissapated after a bit. Due to LA County Covid protocols the rooms do not get serviced during your stay (not the hotel's fault).

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location was amazing within walking distance to so many cool new Chinatown shops and food places! We also stayed for Primavera at the LA Historic State Park and the walk to and from was about 15 minutes, amazing! There was also parking included which was great since overnight street parking is not allowed in the immediate neighborhood. Room had a mini fridge and some complimentary water and snacks plus a mini coffee maker.

Rooms were a bit rundown and our room had a bit of a weird smell to it. Shower leaked water all over the bathroom even though I tried to carefully angle the water away. Parking was first come first serve so I ended up parking to the side instead of in a "real spot" but I think the place was also fully booked because of the festival.

Upon checking in, I was greeted and the process was a breeze. The room was super clean and the air conditioner was working! It kept the room nice and cool. Our room had a good sized refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and the shower had good water pressure. Location was ideal. The motel was well kept and it was clean. I bet on an extended stay, it’s a place where you can recharge for more sightseeing and since it is in Chinatown, you can walk to nearby restaurants. Parking was not complicated. There was no struggle in finding the motel. It does the job for the price we paid.

The room key has to be swiped a few times until the knob unlocked. For a second, I thought I was locked out.
