I like a lot the room itself it appears to sacrifice space (it is a tiny room) for technology and leave just exclusive necessary things, bed and pillows was very comfort and smart room definitely something nice to have. The gym is also very good, the staff in general very kind and the lobby area is very pleasant with a lot of spaces to hang, eat or work. I ordered food several nights and I had no trouble to pick up in the lobby, they had an area for that. For the price, I think it is a great choice! For people that are going to be more outside the hotel and need just a place to sleep and stay at night, take a shower and have their stuff is a very good option. I traveled with my kid for a week to LA and have a blast, my kid enjoys the hotel despite the fact that it is a place more adapted for adults.
Probably the location in downtown is not the best despite the fact that is very centered, at nighttimes seems very insecure a lot of homeless and drugged people. Other thing the prices in the restaurant/bar are way too high, a regular soda is 8USD that not makes sense at all and one day they skip cleaning my room without explanation.

Stayed at this hotel with my partner for a few nights in downtown LA. The room was very clean, comfortable and the bed was extremely comfy and I loved the easy to use IPad remote which controlled the the whole room such as the lights and TV.
The area was not the best location for tourists, at times felt unsafe when walking around outside the hotel area and mostly used Uber to explore LA outside of downtown LA But was close to Crypto arena which was handy when attempting to catch a basketball game. Hotel was great though, very clean, fun and safe even had security at the door 24/7. I also liked how the hotel had a nice bar and restaurant which was easily accessed by anyone staying at the hotel. Great vibe😀

everything was perfect. the apartment is cleaned and brand new apartment. they cleaned it daily. my room was amazing. it is quiet and I had a great sleep during my 2 nights stay there.
the location. it’s nothing happening around the hotel. no restaurants/bars or fun events to go to around the neighbourhood. I was not able to explore around neighbourhood as no really safe as many homeless. I went to a bar closed to the hotel and the bar was so dirty and smelly and I ended up back to the hotel and stayed in the bar instead.

City Hotel cleverly reimagined. The rooms are small but oh so well designed, both functionally and aesthetically. Great views. The hotel lobby is beautiful and like a living room and office guests actually want to and do use.
The usual and minor: felt impossible to opt out of daily housekeeping (option on iPad didn’t actually work or I couldn’t figure it out), towels replaced when they claimed they wouldn’t

Clean, quiet rooms with a comfortable bed and pillow. Nice, large lobby where you can rest or do work. Free coffee and hot water downstairs. Quite modern design and aesthetic.
Small rooms (similar to a hostel) that lack certain amenities (e.g. microwave, kettle) - even the fridge was tiny. The location is central but unfortunately, not a nice area.

Absolutely love this hotel. Great location. The staff was super helpful and welcoming. Felt safe at all times. The room is compact (which is awesome) I truly love the design and uniqueness. Beds are under window which is so cool and the black out curtain truly makes the room dark for sleep. I did not discover all the room controls can be applied thru the handy iPad making it convenient for lights/curtain/temp etc (wish I realized earlier as I was a bit warm until I found that’s how you can control the air, doh) I had more than enough space for my stay and wish I was staying longer. Bed is huge, but if you have two people don’t put someone on the inside if they often get up in the middle of the night. Lobby looks awesome to hang but I didn’t have a lot of time to enjoy all it has to offer. Coffee is not offered in room but the lobby is always open, I chose to bring my own small kettle. Elevators also need room key to operate for added security.

Beautifully stylized eclectic chique minimalistic design. A welcoming invitation of fashion forward millennial posh with a strong Euro-modern taste. Enjoyed the nuance of the eclectic graphic arts coupled with tastefully placed modern neo-classic interior design. Tastefully eclectic. Very tasteful. Loved the attention to security, both personal and to the property. Felt the company went the extra mile to protect the privacy and comfort of their varied guests. Breakfast was fantastic! Savory shaved almond crusted croissant with a deliciously sweet confectionary marmalade inside. Yummy! Taste of FRESHLY SQUEEZED ORANGE JUICE! I will say no more. Embracing atmosphere for the traveling with a discerning taste for Euro-minimalism and modern elegance. Felt an atmosphere of privacy. Well versed staff. Friendly. Helpful. Discreet. Beautiful shelled architecture of classic gothic and neo-baroque, Rococo designs around town.
Stayed for a week. No laundry service. Location was somewhat less desirable. Surprisingly safe. Certain eateries are accessible., like the ever-fascinating LA Cafe. Downtown LA is a depressing canvas of homelessness, hopelessness, blithe and a vestige of potential local bustling commerce.

Very comfortable bed. Super chill lobby to hang out or get work done. Staff very helpful and friendly. The gym is great. Overall, great design throughout.
The parking the staff recommends which is located next door is quite expensive, $38 per day. We walked down just one block and found one for only $12 per day, it's called "Old Bank District Garage". Even though the google reviews are not good, it's absolutely fine. However, this isn't really related to the hotel itself, since they don't offer parking themselves.

The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful upon arrival. I love the self check in service and that we had the ability to choose which floor and view we wanted (usually those things are determined when you book). I also liked that they had 24/7 security since it was downtown. I enjoyed the ipad that allowed us to control the lighting, blinds, and temperature of the room. The bar/dine hall was very good and affordable! Lastly, we greatly appreciated the accessibility to free water at any hour of the day.
Room was a little small, but that’s not unusual for downtown. Only thing I wish they had was their own parking garage for guests, we had to use a private parking lot that costed a fee per day. Luckily, that lot happened to be right next to the hotel and not too pricey.

Close to a lot of restaurants and cool stuff to do and places to go in LA, The Last Bookstore for example. The room is super technology, modern, clean and comfy. I had a lot of fun playing with the colors of the light with the iPad (each room has its own tablet 🥰) The restaurant is open 24/7 so it helps you when you want to eat something but maybe don’t wanna go outside cause it’s late. And it’s a nice opportunity to meet new people! All the people that work at the hotel were also really nice to me, even recommended the best room view within the options available. Price is a high, but I understand that LA is expensive especially for the location.
