Outside spa was working despite being out of commission for a period. Inside spa-tub was nice touch in our room. Bed was comfy. Fan in closet was handy.

Didn't realize how winded we'd get walking up three flights of stairs (not their fault, just high altitude and no elevator). Cord for coffee maker didn't reach from stand to plug so set it on the tray on the ground. Road directly to activities (Gondola, kid zone, etc.) was closed so you had to drive around to get there, but that's not the hotel's issue.

Austria Hof is basically in the parking lot of Canyon Lodge-very convenient. They have ski lockers in their lobby which is very handy. They offer a grab and go breakfast that is perfect: hard cooked eggs, muffins, yogurt, fruit, coffee and tea. The bar/rests downstairs is wonderful!

The bath towels are looking a little old, but I guess they do the job.

Really enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and mostly quiet. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Complementary take away breakfast was very appreciated. The shuttle bus taking you to the village downtown is super efficient and practical, few steps down the road you'll find the stop.

We were counting on finding a laundry service in this kind of hotel, unfortunately there was none. The balcony outside the room with no separation between the room and an access for basically anybody was a bit disturbing. Several times, we heard people passing by at night.

Location, very quiet. Small one queen bedroom, but location of the room excellent with nice view to the forest. During our short stay was perfectly quiet, which we loved. Hotel staff was very friendly.

The only “complaint” is that bed mattress and bathroom could be upgraded, but we are older folks with some health issues. For younger couple it would be probably perfect.

Beds were really comfy! We got upgraded to a shared balcony and loved it.

No elevator for stairs. Not mentioned and we were on third floor. We aren't youngsters anymore so we staggered and minimized our stairs climbing. Some parts in basement near restaurant look like hazards. Leaking hot tub

right at the chair lift and they have ski lockers and you can park for free even after you checkout so you can ski after your check out

not enough parking and dated rooms and you have to smell the restaurant exhaust when you walk in/out the lobby or if in a room above exhaust . only one restaurant and it’s downstairs which is convenient but it’s over priced .. we paid $100. for two salads and a pretzel.

The room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, however it was the onsite restaurant that was the stand out. Food and service were great!

This is only a minor issue as the property is older so there are no lifts and carrying our suitcases up a couple of flights of stairs was a bit of a workout, but we did it.

Lovely styling, great wifi, complimentary (basic) breakfast, HUGE room with a really comfy bed and nice fireplace. Nice view of the sunrise hitting a massive icicle!

The TV system wouldnt display a program guide. The walls were a bit thin - I could hear next door's TV and them talking. I was disappointed the restaurant wasnt operational when I was there.

Great choice for that we needed, a place to sleep while driving through california. Very near the ski lifts for winter (50metres), we went in June so weren't there for the snow. It's a 5 minute drive from the local shops and gas station. The room and bathroom were basic but clean with good A/C

The room had a musky smell upon entry

Cosy room, not too big, the little balcony was great. My husband is a smoker so he could sit on the balcony and watch the little squirrels playing around. Hottub available and a grab-and-go breakfast was included. Friendly staff.

No airconditioning, room on 3rd floor got pretty hot during the day. The available fan was very noisy so we used our own instead. But apart from that minor detail we had a great stay.
