June 2022
The Inn was centrally located in June Lake. You cannot get closer to the center of the town. The room had a kitchen and lots of space, which is what we wanted. The property included a spa and sauna which was lovely after spending the day hiking in Yosemite. Will prioritize staying here when bookings allow.
The heat in the building was always turned on high, even in a heat wave in summer. We could not find a way to adjust the temp in our room and so just left the windows open. Would have loved a fan. The pillows were quite low quality. Recommend bringing your own. The hot tub didn't open until 10 am. Would have really enjoyed the pre-breakfast hot tub. It's one of the pleasures of the mountains, especially with the view from the hotel deck.

We had a great stay at The Heidelberg Inn. The location is idilliac, just a few minutes away from some (few) shops and from June lake. The hotel has a very nice spa and sauna, all free of charge. Having a hot bath watching the mountains and the sunset was priceless. Also, there was a leisure room which was aweome. We played table tennis, snooker, mini basketball. We had so much fun. The room was big and clean. The furniture is a bit old but we loved it and wit fits perfectly the ambience. The room also had a nice kitchenette that was just perfect since the hotel didn't offer breakfast. Oerall, a great stay. Plus the city (June lake) is really pretty. We would love to go back one day
The only negative for us was the sofa bed which wasn't very comfortable to sleep on.

Great location within walking distance to several restaurants. Very clean with a kitchen, laundry, hot tub, sauna, and grills available for use.
Because this facility is a timeshare, they can't accomodate ADA needs because owners have priority. There is no elevator. The two times I have stayed here I have been placed on the second floor and was unable to get a room downstairs. It was difficult to maneuver myself and my belongings to the second floor up a large flight of stairs with my prosthetic leg.

Charming, historic hotel with unique elements (what was once the world’s biggest four-sided fireplace with a big grizzly overlooking); excellent facilities (jacuzzi and sauna); stunning June Lake views, roomy, comfortable rooms; and friendly, accommodating staff at a great price. What more could you ask for, really?
Happy with everything, but you should know that the hotel is almost 100-years-old and doesn’t have an elevator to the second floor, so accessibility might be an issue for some guests. Also, the hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or breakfast—but there are plenty of great food options in June Lake or nearby otherwise.

The location is quiet; on a street above the main street of the small town. It is walking distance to the June Lake Brewery and an easy five minute drive to the near by lakes. The outdoor hot tub was perfect after hiking all day and if timed right visitors can enjoy the sun setting over the mountain while in the hot tub or lounging on the deck. They also provide towels and robes for visitors use.
We used the day bed and could have used a second blanket. We didn't think to ask the front desk in time.

The apartment was spacious clean and extremely comfortable. There was everything you could wish for, from good quality toiletries to dishwasher tablets. The property was very quirky in an alpine escape sort of way with a massive fireplace in the lobby and wooden beams. The staff were lovely and the hotel was in a beautiful location, we just wish we were staying longer.

A trip back in time where famous people gathered in a beautiful mountain village. Every wish was within walking distance and the views were spectacular. Evenings sitting by the inside fire place was the cherry on top of the perfect days spent exploring. We took pictures that will serve as memories and to share with friends and family.

Gorgeous setting, wonderful history, walking distance to everything, lovely patio for enjoying a beverage before sunset, and pleasant staff. The unit had a well set-up kitchen, and the bathroom was recently updated. The hotel was very quiet at night; appreciated after long days sightseeing and hiking!
Our one bedroom condo was a bit “tired”; the furniture was outdated, carpet should be replaced soon, and the windows are over due for cleaning/replacement.

Location ... Excellent. Lodge and rooms ... wonderful. Staff ... very friendly and helpful. Heidelberg is an old tyrolean type lodge with lots of history. My 1 bedroom condo had everything ... small kitchen, refrigerator, TV, etc. I plan to stay there again.
It was not a problem ... but there are stairs ... no elevators

Stayed here for the June Lake Jam Fest. The room was cozy and clean as described. The staff was friendly and location was great with e-bikes to get to and from the festival. The large fireplace was fun to sit at on a cold night and meet other guests.
There is no elevator at this location and if you are on the second floor it is tricky to manage if you have a lot of luggage. There is only one spa at this site. An old description says there are two.
