Came with a living room and a small kitchen. Good parking and good location but a little hard to find
Needs a more visible sign from the road

Perfect location for exploring mammoth lakes, really close to the village. We had a suite as it only cost a small amount to upgrade, kitchen was well stocked for the basics. Suite was clean and there was plenty of towels. We didn’t see any staff during our stay but check in and out was very easy, there’s ample parking. Would 100% stay again and would recommend.
We weren’t able to fully turn the heater off, was still blowing out warm air even when switched off, it was quite warm during our stay and felt like an oven when you walked in. We were only there for 2 nights otherwise would have asked for help with this.

For the price, the room was spacious, clean (mostly), and the beds were comfy. The hot tub was an unexpected bonus. The location is unbeatable—5 minutes from the village, pizza, coffee, and very close to bus stop 14. The housekeepers were very friendly and were happy to help whenever I needed something. Would stay here again.
There was a mysterious sock left in the bathroom which made me question the cleanliness of the room. There was no fan in the bathroom so it was very foggy and humid in there most of the time. The woman working the front desk was not cordial or hospitable at all, and it just comes across like she hates her job. The walls were fairly thin, but that's expected for a motel. Lastly, the massive Holiday Haus sign said "continental breakfast," but there was no breakfast! At least cover up the sign if you aren't going to offer breakfast anymore.

We had a studio, which was perfect for 3 or 4 people. There are two beds (one king and one pull out couch that is probably a queen). Kitchen was comfortable and we used it a lot. Bathroom was totally fine, nothing fancy, but great functionality.
Our heater shut off randomly three different times. But the staff is WONDERFUL; they helped us get it working immediately and taught us how to reset it. You can ask for a space heater too (which we did) and it was a good peace-of-mind thing to have.

The price could NOT be beat for this area. My friend and I stayed in the one bedroom suite. It was cozy, but not cramped. Two people can easily share spaces in this unit. Perfect location from which to explore every direction. I messaged that I'd be arriving after the 9pm closing, so they left the key in an envelope for me at the front desk. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy check in and check out. The parking space was right in front of the little cabin, which was convenient when loading and unloading coolers and food, hiking stuff, etc. In October, it was quiet. Only a few others were staying there and we rarely heard them. The weather was pleasant. Even so, we did use the heaters. The bathroom and living room heaters worked like champs. but the bedroom heater didn't work very well. The kitchen was fine and the little fridge worked so well after the first day, it froze the food on the first shelf. The shower water was hot and the spray was solid. Four large towels were provided. The couch was polish and soft. My friend slept on the couch and said it was very comfy. The bed in the room wasn't very comfortable, but it wasn't too uncomfortable, either. It was just.. meh. The bed was king size, and the bedding was nice. The bedroom had a ceiling fan and windows that opened. The kitchen and bathroom windows also opened. Both rooms had small flat screen TV with a decent selection of channels. The rooms had cute fishing decor. I would stay here again. The accommodations were better than I'd anticipated and it was a good value for the price.
The floor was very dirty - both the dingy rug and the wood flooring. Without shoes on, the soles of my feet/ socks would turn black after a few steps. The furniture and decor is old and outdated, which wouldn't bother me except that it was musty, and my nose kept stuffing up. The shower was small and the floor unstable. It sagged under the weight of the person stepping in the shower. It felt like water damage had eroded the floor under the shower pan. The bed in the bedroom was soft-ish, but had molded to two body shapes with a higher hump in the middle. The bedroom heater didn't work very well, and pretty much stopped working the last morning, blowing cold air out of 3 of the 4 quadrants of the vent. No Wi-Fi, but I didn't expect any.

The room was very spacious, comfortable and extremely clean with cute views of the wood cabins and mountain out the window. The room was very warm upon walking in and welcoming - it continued to stay warm through the night. There was parking right outside the front door. I didn't get to use the hot tub as I only stayed one night and used the natural hot springs 15 mins drive away instead but I wish I could have stayed longer. The location was great.
The one downside which I reported to front desk, was that the fireplace turned itself on at 4.30am for an hour - this would have been fine other than the fact it woke me up suddenly and kept me awake. Front desk said they will look into why it turned itself on. Whether it was on a timer or accidental, I'd like to be able to control the fireplace. I would definitely stay again but in a room without the fireplace.

It was close to everything. The room was very well maintained. The manager was very friendly. The price was very affordable. The room had microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, running water and sink with a variety of dishes. The restroom had new hardware. The shower was small, no bathtub, but I didn't need it. Water pressure was good and water stayed hot. I'll definitely return and recommend highly to anybody who asks.

Overall the room was cozy and spacious for a couple. The bed was a little uncomfortable but still managed to get some good sleep in. I liked that they had a fully stocked kitchen. 2 thumbs up for Maintenance and the front desk, they were quick to solve a little problem we had with the shower head.
The one thing I didn't like was that there is no air conditioning. At this time we didn't need it cause outside was cold so we left the windows open but I definitely would not try to visit this place in the middle or the beginning of summer time. They do have a heater so in the winter time I would definitely return.

The property was beautiful and even though the units are old, they have been newly renovated. Was happy with a full kitchen so we could prepare meals. It was a quiet, comfortable stay! We were missing items, and were able to get most of the missing items from the office.
A little worried about information privacy and the check-in information hangs on a bulletin board outside the office. They requested we wash our dishes which is reasonable; however we did not have a dish rag, a sink plug or a tray for the washboard for drying dishes. We also didn't have hot pads. The office had a dish rag, but no plug for the sink.

I loved the location of the property, it was only about a 10 minute drive from mammoth main lodge & about a 5 min drive to the village. The room, Hayden Cabin, was quite exceptional & I liked that it was secluded from the rest of the property.
I did not like the inadequate space of the shower. i believe the shower could have been bigger with the amount of space given in the bathroom. Also, the patio entrance door in the Hayden Cabin should be reinstalled to provide a small area for some snowboots or shoes to be held outside the living space.
