A nice 2 floor (ground and first floor) motel with a decent sized car park. There is a low entry way and an open entry way for vehicles so check as you approach the car park. The rooms are of a decent size and were clean and well decorated. The bed was comfy, the TV ands coffee facilities worked and the bathroom was a decent size and everything was working as it should. We had booked earlier that afternoon but there was an issue with the card we used to book however the motel kindly kept a room aside for us (Room 101, the accessibility room) and we resolved the matter upon arrival. This was very thoughtful of them as the motel was busy and Monterey does not have many reasonably priced places to stay with parking let alone free and on site. Room 101 is next to the manager's office and the ice machine so can suffer from some noise when people get ice or when the management staff go in and out of the back door to their office and it bangs shut however our worst problem was the very loud family in room 102 who did eventually go to sleep but started up again early the next morning.

One common factor we found during our California road trip is that the Californians just use wood to build rather than concrete and as such the sound deadening for neighbouring rooms is limited and you always get creaking and footsteps from those above you. If you can manage the stairs go for the top floor, at least that way yoiu only have to deal with the noise from your neighbours but a good bang on the wall often suffices :)

The location was great. I was concerned about being on a main road, but inside the rooms it was quiet and we didn't hear the noise from the road. Beds were wonderfully firm - the best we had on our trip to the States!

It was strange for us that the rooms had fridges and microwaves, but no cutlery or crockery. That was a bit awkward, but the staff did help us out for which we were grateful. Thank you.

In a great location minutes away from down town Monterey and Let’s not say the mall was right across the street from us. The lady in the front desk was very nice and house keepers are awesome made sure we were stocked up on extra towels and even vacuumed our room and trashed out Since we were there for two nights. We would definitely come back!!

Loved everything

The room we had had a luxurious king size bed that I can't stress enough was luxurious. The room was big, with lots of room to pass each other; the table with chairs were perfect and comfortable; desk chair was perfect office chair on rollers and comfortable; bathroom was bigger than expected and updated to modern tile design in the shower/tub and granite countertop. I actually, didn't want to leave the room because I was so comfortable.

Staff are friendly and helpful. Room is clean and nicely furnished. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Location is excellent - restaurants, shopping and While Foods Market are across the street and easy to walk to, and Cannery Row is a fast and easy drive away as is the road to Carmel and Big Sur. Gods value for the price. I am glad I chose Days Inn for my stay.

No safe in the room

Very convenient location, reasonably priced, clean and comfortable.

Better breakfast options would be nice, but I understand for the price of the room that might not be possible. Regular cream and sugar for coffee, rather than the flavored cream, would be appreciated. I would prefer a danish, even an inexpensive packaged one, instead of the bars.

The room seemed fresh and clean smelling. The price and location were a big plus

Noise from big trucks in motel lot woke me up at 4:30 a.m. everyday. Mascara and lipstick on the frames of picture and mirror and bathroom door frame were uncomfortable reminders that someone missed a few spots cleaning. Some guests have no respect at all I wonder what their houses look like.

The property manager went the extra mile and gave us the best room on the property! It was his amazing hospitality that made our stay very comfortable and wonderful. So much that we wanted to stay in the hotel longer!

Covered parking would be amazing! As travellers with a lot of stuff in our car, I was constantly a bit worried about my car. Covered or something a bit more secure than the open concept they have.. a gate... anything.

We travel often to visit family in Monterey. Having stayed at numerous locations, Days Inn Wyndham rates best for location to everything. Pleasant/Updated rooms, notably the bed very comfortable, spacious and clean. All Plugs work and good placements. Wi-Fi included. Parking is convenient, check-in fastest. Online pictures and description is accurate. It was very, very quiet throughout the night which is important! King room is a great value. Across from the mall, where I always go to Pizza My Heart and shop. Days Inn Fishermen Wharf is going to be our first choice over the rest from now on!

The location was good. Even though it was next to a busy street there wasn’t any noise from that. The room was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Staff was friendly and took great care of us.

The TV is a little small and could have been placed higher on the wall but I wasn’t there to watch TV so it wasn’t a big deal.
