Convenient location, well-maintained facility, friendly staff, reliable Wifi

There was no breakfast except for in-room coffee, and ONE pastry (there were two of us). Who knows how fresh the pastry was? We did not eat it. This was my first ever stay at an ABVI, although I've seen them all across the country. I have always been a bit leery of them because generally they don't look very inviting from the exterior. I have to travel to Palo Alto a number of times per year for medical treatment at Stanford. We generally have to stay one night due to the distance we have to travel. We've stayed in almost every budget hotel from South San Francisco to San Jose to the East Bay, and have never found one we would return to, until now. I was quite surprised. Our room had been entirely remodeled (not piecemeal like some places do.) Although the room is small, it was very clean, and so nice to have a new, clean bathroom. My only complaint is that the pillows were not very comfy, although the bed was. I got a great rate for the room, and it is literally just minutes from Stanford, so we'll be coming back for my next visit.

The check-in clerk was very young and not all that friendly, but we had no issues with check-in.

My stay was excellent. I was travelling alone and the front desk attender was really friendly which makes me feel comfortable, He even helped me to check in early as my flight landed early in the day. This was really nice. When I came back at late night he was also there which makes me feel safe. The coffee and the pastry for the breakfast was also good. Room was clean. I usually come to PaloAlto every few months and I hope to stay in this place in future too.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating, whether it was night shift, morning or afternoon shift. Room is really excellent for the value as the bed is comfortable and equipped with Microwave, fridge, hair dryer, iron, and a small amount of snacks and drinks to enjoy. Free parking on site and a nice, safe area. Highly recommend ☆☆☆☆☆

The price was reasonable, location was convenient and we had a room on the second floor at the very end. The man that checked us in was helpful and easy to work with; kept things simple.

The only thing I had an issue with was the bathroom door; you either kept it open so heat can drift in or closed to use the sink.

The staff was excellent, very kind and accommodating. The location was great and the room was very very clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfy and nice. It was a very quiet room and we slept great!

The room key card was a bit difficult to work.

Mattress covered with crinkly plastic cover. Bedding came apart each night (for 6 nights) within an hour or two. Why does this happen?

Beds are super comfy, ice machine and laundry on site, fridge and microwave in room. Staff is super friendly and accommodating no matter who's manning the front desk. Lots of good food options in the area as well.

This motel is very conveniently located, it Is close to Stanford and there are plenty of restaurants near by as well as other conveniences. The rooms are easy to get to from parking, no walking down endless corridors. The.staff is very friendly and ready to help, need more coffee packs are more juice, no problem. Rooms are well equipped, mini fridge, microwave, iron and board, hair dryers, small coffee maker, rooms are clean and comfortable. I come down from Oregon often and I always stay here.

The roads in Palo Alfo, terrible. What on earth do they with all taxes they take in, they obviously do not spend any of it on the roads, they are very rough and full of potholes...
