very nice room with kitchen and large bathroom. comfortable bed. decent work area.

overall I really liked the property. i was disappointed by one thing right at the end. Before that I was excited to write a great review. I arrived about midnight for a 1 night stay to give a talk at a local university. In the am I asked for a noon checkout as I had no place to go before my talk. Not only did the front desk man say no; he told me I was asking too last minute and that I should have asked the night before. i was just asking for noon instead of 11. Not a major deal but I don’t think I have ever been turned down for a noon checkout. I said the check in wasn’t for a few hours and should have been sufficient time. He responded by telling me the housekeepers are not just standing around. i was disappointed by the attitude.

All the amenities, and I mean all, clean room, lovely setting, great pool, and extras you don’t usually expect for this price point! We had a great night’s rest in a quiet, clean hotel with a little breakfast treat of fruit, pastries and coffee available in the office.

The bed was a little too soft, but we are use to a firmer mattress.

The moment we pulled into the parking lot in the dark of the evening we knew we were at a special place. There is something like a little park that shields your rooms from the street so there was essentially no street noise. The beautiful trees are amazing and there are seats on the lawn and lovely flowers around, also close to the rooms. Our room had a little full and fully provided kitchen, which I guess many of the rooms do.. Since they they bring the breakfast to your room (which you order the night before and was excellent including sausage and egg muffin), we could eat it right there in the kitchen. Also the kitchen provided us with a second sink outside of the bathroom. Everything was clean and comfortable, and well appointed & maintained. We were 100% happy for our 2-nite stay.

Nothing do not like. (And I am usually a very free complainer) .

WE were staying at Country Inn while having treatments at Stanford. This was a great place to relax after. The grounds are immaculate and nice pool area with very comfortable furniture, Peaceful even on El Camino. Close to everything needed. A very pleasant stay!

After staying in several motels in the immediate area, switching to get the best daily values in a market that changes a lot from day to day, I found that the Country Inn Motel provided the best consistent value.

The swimming pool is crystal clear and beautiful but quite cool. It requires a sunny hot day to be comfortable.

It was a lovely mid century modern motel that has been meticulously maintained and improved. Our room was better than we thought it would be. The staff was so accommodating and helpful! He offered to carry our luggage and my husband's oxygen tank up the stairs to our room. I loved the beautiful updated big shower. The grounds were lovely, full of fruit trees and flowers and a beautiful pool too.

What's not to like? It was wonderful. They even brought breakfast to our room in the morning!

Super cute room and property. Loved all the thoughtful details that the owners put into the place. We came for a concert but wished we could have spent a little more time at our room, and enjoying the grounds. Nice looking pool and relaxing shady visiting areas outside. We loved the bonus of a full size kitchen. Perfect for families or a couple friends on a trip.

This place gets high ratings for a motel, and I was wondering why. Having stayed there I know understand why. It's family run since 1954 and you feel it, and don't worry it's been kept up to date. Comfy beds, nice clean rooms. The staff really care about this place. I am a garden designer and I really appreciated the layout of the grounds - very spacious and simply, well designed which just makes one feel relaxed.

Facility was perfectly clean. Grounds were immaculate. Nice sitting area around the very nice swimming pool. Excellent A/C. Very nice staff. Quiet.

TV was difficult to operate. Couldn't figure out how to get the picture to be full screen (a bunch of menu choices filled the right side) on this already a little bit small TV. Included breakfast was not very good.

This is a 50's style motel that has been updated. It sits off the main road of El Camino Real with a courtyard of big oak trees and patio chairs. There is a nice pool and the area around the pool is well furnished. There is always a big jug of water with ice for refreshment. We had a corner room which was quite large and comfortable. Breakfast is brought to your door and was mostly continental, i.e. fruit, yogurt, bagel, etc. It is close to downtown Mt. View, Palo Alto, and Stanford. The value was excellent.

The coffee was not good, there is a Starbucks a couple blocks away.
