Quality Inn Petaluma

Our room was very clean and nice for us when we got there. We arrived about 40 minutes late and it was no problem for them. The pool was very nice and the free breakfast was yummy as well. My boyfriend and I were celebrating our 3 year anniversary and this was perfect! we had the kind bed with the spa tub and it was wonderful. Staff was very friendly and accommodating if we had any questions or concerns

No dislikes except for i wish the pool was open until a little later at night for folks like me who can’t sleep and have insomnia.

Very friendly staff, they even gave me the option of an upstairs or downstairs room because I checked in early enough to get a choice! Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. Location felt safe and was convenient for my visit, as well as easy to find, not to mention close to pretty much everything you'd need. Parking is convenient too, and I was able to park directly outside my room which was nice!

I might just be dumb but I couldn't quite figure out the AC/heater and how to turn it completely off. I could have definitely used some directions, but to be fair I did also just choose to be cold instead of asking for help, so maybe that one's on me lol.

I loved this hotel. The staff were always around cleaning something and they seemed genuinely pleasant. And while the whole place could use a fresh coat of paint, everything was clean and smelled clean. We were there for a wedding event and most of the party stayed at the Sheraton Hotel. We chose Quality Inn because I just couldn't stomach the idea of paying so much money that the Sheraton wanted. But because most of the party was there, we spent most of our time at the Sheraton. Here are some differences: S=$$$ Q=$$. S=Not clean (the cushions in the dining room and carpets were HORRIBLE Q=Very clean, S=Staff was okay but no smiles Q=Accommodating (one member even saw that I was having a hard time making a bow for my gift and she offered to do it for me-had the wire and everything as she used to work in a florist shop) S=No breakfast-not even free coffee on the tables and/or lobby Q=FREE (wonderful) continental breakfast.

They could use a fresh coat of paint but this did not bother me in the least. That's it.

I love the staff especially the manager she was really nice. The breakfast was phenomenal they were so much food it was amazing it was a great way to start the morning and it was free and there was bacon and eggs and waffles and it was just awesome. They were very accommodating I needed a lots of towels cuz I went to the pool and hot tub quite a bit. The place was very clean very neat everyone was very kind of place was packed. Regardless of what I needed they were very accommodating they also helped me get Tylenol and a bag put my dirty clothes in. I was very skeptical when I made the reservations because the rooms were such a good price that I thought that it was going to be a dumple but oh my goodness the place was very manicured everything was clean and neat there was no trash anywhere. I even told the manager there that her place had just caught me by surprise and that I was super impressed not only with her but her staff and the whole hotel itself. I've already booked another stay there because I go there often and I didn't know about this place but I will be traveling quite a bit in that area and that's where I'll be staying always from here on out I got my hotel.

There is not one thing I can think of that was wrong with this place. I'm super surprised and I'll be returning

The rooms were spacious, very clean, comfortable. In nice surroundings. The breakfast was good, lots of cereal, fresh fruit, juice, yogurt etc. There was fried breakfast also. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice, easy-going relaxed atmosphere.

Only gripe I would have is that the breakfast was served on paper plates, plastic cutlery, cups etc. so there was a lot of waste material

Room was large and clean. Beds were comfortable and heater worked perfectly. The breakfast was outstanding. And the extended breakfast hours to 10:30AM and the noon checkout time was helpful for those of us who needed some extra rest in the morning and did not have to hurry away.

the remote control for the TV needed new batteries. It would not respond to commands unless you were standing directly in front of the television ....

We don’t tend to complain, especially since this was a last minute reservation for one night on a holiday weekend, but the room request we made for a quiet location turned out to be one backing near a highway and the price was extraordinarily high for any Quality Inn we have stayed at. Part of that may have been due to pricing on booking.com rather than Quality/Choice itself. Also granted it was last minute and holiday. period.

Property is well kept. Very clean inside and out. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. I love the beds and pillows , when I stay at other locations I have to bring my own pillow or else I will not get a good night sleep. Not here , love the pillows. We always comment on how quiet the location is. We have stayed here several times and know which rooms we like the best. We will keep coming back. Also very happy the hot breakfast is back, always enjoy it. Love the hot apple cider offered in the lobby during the holidays Delicious!!

Only thing I can think of is when we were placed in one of the rooms above the laundry facilities. It shook very badly and it was very noisy.

Rooms were clean, staff was personable, bed was comfortable and the pillows were nice. The good definitely outweighed the bad. There were plenty of towels in the bathroom, and the toilet even had an eco-flushing function! Breakfast service was active, which was an awesome touch. The last time I stayed at a hotel, their breakfast bar was closed due to COVID. There was a good selection of food at the breakfast bar. There were even fresh eggs!

The location was near cattle fields and often smelled like waste. I know that depends on the wind direction, and the location can't exactly be helped, but it's worth noting. The thermostat in my room also told me it had a low battery; I was able to control the temperature in spite of that, though. Also, it looked like parts of the property might be undergoing repairs- there was no baseboard in the hallways in the building I was in.

The property is quiet. The room was spacious. The staff was friendly. Parking is free. Great location, easy access to the main highway. The bed was comfortable and linens and pillows were nice.

Our room could have used a modern update. The toilet was standard height. The bath had an older synthetic marble jetted tub. The furniture was a little dated. With our current situation nationwide, (catalytic converter robberies), I would like to see the property gated with an electronic entry or at least have a visible guard during the winter months. If these updates were made selectively on individual rooms, I would be glad to pay $xx more per night! Also a note for your county supervisors: The potholes in this lovely area are not appealing and you are getting infrastructure money soon.
