most hotels of this standard would provide a complimatary bottle of water they did not they charged for everything water bottle small 4.50 and WIFI not free, for what you are paying for the standard KING room with taxes and resort fees and 23.00 in parking fees its ashame they cant be more accommodating . Even your lesser hotels provide free WIFI. Other than that it was a lovely stay.

Well,it would be nicer if we were informed that the parking was extra,it's either Valet or self park, and it's $25/night. There's no other choice. I can see if your just going to dinner,or wander around the grounds and surounding area,but we didn't find out till we were checking out,we were there two nights. We were there a week earlier,and were asked at the parking structure for the hotel if we were checking in or just for dinner,we were there for dinner,not a problem. But it was a surprise to know we had to pay for parking while staying at the hotel.

Overall very nice hotel, clean, quiet and interesting. Lots of history there.

We were disappointed in the restaurant as the food was served cold the first night.. It was offered to make it right but was surprised as to how it was originally served. Breakfast the next day was also unfortunate as the waitress spent over 10 minutes talking with another customer instead of taking our order and she never came back but continued to talk with the same customers as they were leaving. We had two different wait people help us by asking for their help. We did not eat any other meals at the hotel during our stay.

Front desk staff not friendly, very lengthy check in process and even after all the waiting to get it correct the turned off my key to access everything 24 hours before they were suppose to. Again front desk very curt when I asked to have fixed. Also fro t desk wasn’t helpful when I called to book an extra day. Said they could help with because I had booked the first day through a third party. Really made no sense because I also had to book as a separate reservation- so just left the impression that they didn’t care to help me🛤️

The property is beautiful. The check in was easy. The valet staff was excellent, very Friendly and accommodating.

I did not like when we returned that night from our wedding we planned to walk and look in shops but due to the amount of young people out and about running thru people a high police presents in that area. Wa felt unsafe and return to the hotel. Our bedroom was located just off that walkway area where all the traffic was. And late late at night we could hear people fighting running. Being disruptive in that area. So the next time I would not stay in that part of the hotel. We could see lights flashing in our room for several hours.

Awesome hotel! We loved our room, the views of the gardens are beautiful. The restaurants in and around the hotel are delicious. The hotel has so much history, and we really enjoyed the tour of the hotel and the museum. Self parking was around the corner and valet was just a few dollars more. Security guard was in the lobby at all times, so that made me feel safe in a downtown area. My favorite was the robes, bedsheets and towels -sooooo soft! Luxurious! Need to check and see if they sell them. My husband loved the blue velvet chair in our room. :-) We can't wait to stay here again!

Loved the historic value. Architecture was amazing. Ambiance was fantastic.

Our bathroom sink was totally plugged up. Would not drain at all. The tub/shower temperature control knob (which is clear plastic) was completely covered underneath in black mold. This was a special occasion for us. We were celebrating our 52nd Wedding Anniversary and we’re a little disappointed at check-out when we informed hotel staff of the plumbing issues and mold the response was, “Oh, sorry.” No apology or compensation offered. They could have at least waived the $25.00 parking fee.

entire staff was very friendly but, everything was overpriced for what you get.

Property and staff were nice. Frank Cattern was an excellent tour guide.

The cost. We had a party of nine for lunch (originally 11, but two didn't stay for lunch). Hamburger, salad, or pasta and dessert was $55 a person since we were a "group", and not everyone had dessert. Same salad for dinner the night before was, I think, $19. My wife and I each had a drink at $17 each which were terrible. If you stay, go out to eat.

Location, beautiful setting breathe taking place just walk around with your jaw open it's just spectacular. Resturants & bars on site that we tried were excellent food & staff. Clean comfortable rooms can't say enough good about it. Definitely will go back. Want to see the Christmas lights they have.

Forgot couple pieces of clothing both hanging next to each other but was told only 1 found. 3 calls later to security got a link to have it returned which ended up being a third party which wanted $43 to send back a shirt that weighs nothing. Barely paid that much for it orginally. The shirt is now property of the Mission.
