All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The concierge, security, and cleaning staff we all very professional during my brief interactions with them. The room was spotless when I arrived which a relief compared to some other, non-Marriott facilities I've been to recently.

Finding the entrance was a little awkward without GPS. I ended up walking around the block before finding my way to the front door due to lack of signage. It was not communicated that the parking voucher would cost an additional fee on top of the room fee but that is my fault for not questioning it further when prompted. Additionally, it was either not communicated or went over my head but I regret missing out on the complimentary breakfast. Finally, this survey not having any way to opt out and sending me 2-3 emails a week seems a bit excessive. I know that doesn't have anything to do with my stay but there's not many other places I can put this.

Check in wasn't until 4 but I arrived earlier then expected because I thought there would be traffic due to the holiday weekend I got there about 230 when I arrived the girls at the front desk were very nice and said they could check me in not problem. They asked me if I was there for the convention I said yes I think they noticed I was nervous and said that they would love to see me I told them well I'm going to look like a giant purple fart. In the morning I came down stairs nd the other girls at the desk were very cheerful excited took pics with me and the previous girl saw me at the convention as well but my stay was very nice staff was friendly I wasn't from there so they told me what places were good to try for food nd what cute local shops were around to explore. They were kind to let me store my luggage there while I was at the event until my friends arrived I appreciated that because most places don't I was worried I be carrying it around for the whole morning and in costume too.

Nothing everything was great

Location near bars and places to eat. Had never ventured in downtown Riverside, good location for that. Pool available at an early time, 6am, that was really combina y for those who like to avoid a crowded pool, I do.

Pool was not too small but a bigger pool would make it a bit more luxurious.

certain policy, I booked last minute because it was too late to drive back home. I finish my job around 2:30 am but I was told if I check in after 3 they will charge me extra which made no sense because I had only booked around 11pm.

Many great amenities available.

The bathroom sliding doors felt like someone could peak through and see you . I asked for extra towels and didn’t receive any. And it took 3-4 phone calls to get more towels swapped.

No one reads the fine print anymore. It would have been nice to have been told about the wifi and features at check in. Even if it was an extra pamphlet and telling us to read it.

Checking-in: We booked thru booking.com but the hotel did not acknowledge even with a confirmation #. They could not locate our reservation and asked us to wait for 20 minutes for hotel system to receive info from booking.com. After the 20 mins, I checked with another person at front desk who also said they could not find us in the system. I stayed waiting at the desk and finally they found the reservation. When we checked out we ended up paying approximately $20 dollars more than what was quoted on booking.com and the room we received was not the one we book on booking.com.

plenty of parking that was close to the lobby/entrance excellent staff

walls are a little thin, other hotel guests coming and going from their rooms was easily heard

location was perfect! everything was walking distance.

very noisy at times. thin walls. added cost of $50 to park my car. ridiculously expensive. I paid the same in a New York City hotel.

Location was great, clean, smelled nice, rooms clean; comfortable and quiet. Staff professional. All in all a great stay. I’ll be back for sure!
