Hampton Inn & Suites San Clemente

The staff was friendly and always willing to help. The breakfast was excellent. The staff addressed our concerns on the spot. Anthony was our of my favorite people to talk to. The staff always greeted us with a “Good Morning!”. The hotel is within walking distance of San Clemente State Park.

Nothing! For a stay you could not ask for more. The staff needs to wipe down the patio furniture between guest stays and check the stairwells for trash each day.

The walls are v dry thick so we were able to enjoy ourselves without disturbing others. The Breakfast Buffet was amazing!!! Top notch food options!!! Great location. Great Staff. They have a natural sulphate free toiletries so you don’t have to bring your own. Big win. Most hotel toiletries are drying and horrible.

My only advice is to change the jacuzzi water more often. The guy put chemicals in it but the spa had foam and floaties. I wasn’t sticking my ladies parts in that water.

Good breakfast, good quality beds, location right off the freeway allowed for easy access.

Could hear noise from other rooms which seems to be typical for hotels but running the fan helped greatly. The sofa bed was a pass - family member slept on the couch instead.

The room was nice for two elderly women to entertain grandchildren. The beds were very comfy and the breakfast was tasty.

They didn't allow us one minute late check out and actually phoned the room at 10:55am. People in their 80s don't move as fast as they once did.

Clean and a good room size. Comfortable queen beds. AC good so had an excellent nights sleep. Lovely towel art which was a great extra touch. Pool area small but nice to be able to sit outside on a longer although no sun in afternoon or evening.

The breakfast was great. There was something for everyone. The staffer working in the breakfast room kept it very clean and fresh food was put out consistently.

There was nothing that we didn't like.

There are added taxes to our bill. We were unsure as to how that is possible since we should not pay more than what was stated on the booking.com reservation. I will be contacting Hampton to verify why that appeared, and to hopefully fix it.

Location, roominess and how curtieous the staff was

I expected a more updated facility. The room was very dark

Breakfast was a plus. Location was great. The ocean was 4 minutes away. We had dinner and drinks at an Irish pub next door pretty much and San Diego Is less than an hour away.

The sofa bed. It was my turn to take the sofa bed it was not comfortable. Lots of bees near the pool. My niece got stung by one outside.

Very clean. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was very good. Would stay there again.

Room decore and carpet should be more modern.
