Charming house and warm, welcoming staff. Catered nicely for vegans with the breakfast. The room was the smallest in the house but still comfy and had what we needed. At one point we had trouble with our cards on the BART and one of the people at the house kindly took us downtown in his car. It’s a fun place to stay in an amazing location especially if you plan to visit the Mission.

Great location, very comfortable bed. The breakfast was great, European quality with homemade egg and veggie frittata, french toast, and a spread with bread, cheeses, salami, smoked fish, and fruit.

I was in the View room. I would not want to stay in that room during a heat wave. It's all the way up top and only the one small window opens. I had a fan, which helped. But it was in the 70's during the day and I see the potential for that room to be hot. It did have a fan in the closet, which made it comfortable at night.

We had a fantastic stay at Noe’s Nest whilst visiting San Francisco. Firstly, Sheila is a super hostess! She is very welcoming and knows all the best spots and eating places. She gave us a great list of vegan restaurants to visit and was exceptionally accommodating, always making sure plenty of delicious vegan breakfast items were available. Noe’s Nest is full of character and is ideally located. The bed in ‘The Venetian’ room is unbelievably comfortable and the garden and wine temple are fabulous retreats. We will treasure the amazing etching you gave us, Sheila. Thank you so much. We will be back someday!

History, philosophy, art, nature, good conversation and good food are on the menu. Noe's Nest is well located for everything San Francisco has to offer. The neighbourhood offers great dining options too- a range of cuisines and budgets.

Wow! What a great stay we had at Noe's Nest. Sheila, the owner, is very friendly and took care of us the whole stay. The garden is beautiful, the breakfasts are of quality and the rooms cozy and beautiful. We can really appreciate the personality of the owner in the decoration of the house. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet so we think that is a plus. Many great restaurants in the area! Would definitely stay here again.

Location is not quite downtown but there are plenty of transportation available a few corners away.

Incredibly beautiful big house in the perfect location to explore the city. We loved wandering around the mission district including its parks, cafes, restaurants, and bars. Felt very save around there any time of the day! The house itself is beautiful and filled to the brim with vintage and retro items. You also have access to a stunning garden with loads of different seating options (including a BYOB wine temple!!). Breakfast is varied (including a lot of vegetarian options) and served communally every day in the kitchen. This is not your anonymous BnB stay, you are treated like a guest by the lovely host Sheila - thank you so much for having us.

Our room was rather small and a little noisy as we were just off the main living room. However, at that price and location, that was ok for us.

Excellent home cooked breakfast, excellent place to stay it's like stepping back in time and living in a museum - there is also a tiny heated glass and wood gazebo in the backyard surrounded with lush green foliage! It's a beautiful place to spend some time at

I was thoroughly impressed by the property. The location was perfect, situated in a charming neighborhood within walking distance to popular attractions and restaurants. The unit itself was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The host was extremely hosp itable and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. I highly recommend this place and can't wait to stay there again in the future.

Quintessential San Francisco property. Old, stately home (134 years old) owned and operated by a charming woman who greets all her guests like they are family. Antiques and art everywhere you look. Very comfortable and updated facilities.

Electrical outlets could use some updating for “device-addicted” modern travelers so be prepared with back up chargers, etc.

incredible best place ever. a must stay if you visit SF. I will be coming back just to see. shelia. I adored her and the eclectic look of the place. we had drinks every night in the garden playing the piano where you can find games to play too. the breakfast was five star every single morning.
