Holiday Inn Express Simi Valley, an IHG Hotel

The staff was amazing. The front desk man helped open the door for us when we were struggling to get our belonging in. Very nice and helpful. Cleaning was great and breakfast staff was wonderful. They were always refilling and cleaning tables. Nice to see they really care about the guests. The room we got was a suite and we didn’t realize it would be with 2 bathrooms and two adjoined rooms which was great to have with 6 people.

Other guests at pool took all the available seating for their party making it less enjoyable to watch our children at the pool. They were not using all the chairs but claimed them so no one else could have one.

This hotel is centrally located to the tourist sites in Simi Valley and has wonderful connection to the 118 freeway. It is a very nice hotel with a very comfortable room and bed. It had a great variety of cable channels on the TV. The most exceptional area of this hotel was the breakfast room. It had beautiful tables and chairs to sit at while eating. Also, It had such a great variety of foods both hot and cold on the breakfast bar. It also had a automated pancake machine that I had never seen at a hotel before. We were able to park not to far away from our room that happened to be on the first floor.

It was a little on the expensive side. I can't complain after seeing the breakfast room. It was super nice. It does have limited parking. It is next to a shopping center with some restaurants and other places.

Comfortable room, two sinks and mirrors (one in bath and one outside the bathroom) made it easy for two of us to get ready. The breakfast was very good and facilities were kept clean and food was replenished.

Our King Spa room on the third floor faced the busy street and road noise could be heard in our room. The air conditioning helped drown the street noise during rush hour. However, at night it was quiet and we got a good nights sleep.

The staff (a lady with an accent in particular- don't know her name) was extremely polite, welcoming such a breath of fresh air to the mornings always enquiring if everyone was alright A wide range of breakfast items to choose from Always very clean environment The white vegetarian egg omelette was such a good change to the normal

it was well managed. The breakfast was great, could choose either cooked or continental. The selection was fantastic and was allowed to take extra items for my room for later!!

Looked a bit dated and needs to be modernised. Furniture and bathroom looked really worn. The carpets are old and appeared dirty and tired, could do with revamping.

The room was very comfortable and reasonably priced. It was quiet and conveniently located. Breakfast was amazing!

The elevator broke down at one point. Had to walk up and down from the 3rd floor.

Pool was supposed to be heated, but heater broken. I found out the freezing way and wish staff would have known when I asked if pool was heated. The next morning the pool guy had it blocked off, doing repairs, so no swimming. Also keys to room didn’t work, gave me new keys which didn’t work, finally gave me new room.

I enjoyed the jetted tub and huge room to myself. Very quite stay which was perfect, since they let me check in early being that I was and am a graveyard worker and traveler.

Lack of places to get food near by.

The staff was very friendly both times I have stayed here! Great job!

The laundry room didn’t open till later. If the door could be unlocked before 9am that would be awesome
